Neverwinter: Underdark Coming Fall 2015

    This, by all means, is the game's last chance to save whatever is left to save and hopefully bring back players, same ones who gave up months ago due to lack of content, leadership changes, no means to earn AD, the eternal grind, etc. Make it good, make it count. Even your loyal playerbase such me no longer hold complete faith in the development, we're bitter yet we're still here, waiting for something better.

    It's time to give back to the community rather than to take away, please don't mess this up.

    And to those who have yet to see the trailer -

    Implement a raid queue?
    it will never happen but we already have something similar!! the stronghold pvp q system is already 10 steps ahead.
    at least you are sure of being with your guild.

    Glad I weened myself off this game when I did. The things they have done just point to even worse things down the road in the name of saving a buck on development yet pocketing more for their corporate parent by cracking down on any free methods of advancement. I have zero expectations for Underdark, even with Salvatore stamped on it. They did the same thing with Minsc and Boo too, I guess to soften the blow of all they took away from us in Mod 6. I shudder to think what horrid plans they have when ponying up the dosh for a named D&D author. Maybe I'll be wrong and Mod 8 will be awesome and satisfying. I would really be happy if it was. I just have a gut feeling though...

    Come on, every proper game has a raid system. Ability to not be just in one party, see everyone's conditions, 1 proper designated chat, shared buffs, etc. It needs to happen if they keep planning to throw in large scale battles. Tiamat was and still is a disaster.

    We'll try to get some more information up on the Tarmalune Tradebar Store before launch, but I'll definitely be pulling together initial feedback from this forum thread and sitting down with the devs to discuss.

    Wait, what? You guys are planning to make changes to the Tarmalune Tradebar Store but must still discuss it? Don't you discuss things before deciding whether to make sweeping changes? Guess not going by these last few months...

    Just take a look at my account, i open lockboxes on a weekly basis with ViP keys.
    Feel free to use those Trade Bar numbers, to adjust the TB Merchant prices to them.
    I do believe in killing the messenger...

    @lirithiel No, what he means is he's going to relay the immediate concerns of the players, like people worrying they're going to remove or jack up the cost of c-wards, to the developers so they can take that under advisement before changes actually go live.

    Coalescent Wards will not be leaving the stores and pricing will not increase. Prices are still being adjusted and we will have more information soon. Rest assured we’re listening to community feedback. In terms of other items, we’re evaluating pricing and looking to make it more worthwhile to engage with the store. Again more information will be released in the near future.

    This is what we can share so far:

    Coalescent Wards will not be leaving the stores and pricing will not increase. Prices are still being adjusted and we will have more information soon.     "Replayable vs. Repeatable"

    hmmm....

    looks nice for adventure systems (bigmap>minimap>dungeon like patch of exile, etc) but not for "welcome, epic heroe; i need some mushrooms today!".

    Find some trolls, or a big cyclops protecting flowers instead of the same group of goblins is not a big game change.

    if the idea is something like the first one, thats great.

    Seriously, devs, you need to chime in asap about new dungeons cause all you are doing is delaying the inevitable. A good portion of the players are done with this game till new dungeons come out or done with this game the second this non dungeon module comes out. You can't run a game with the Dungeons and dragons logo and have no dungeons. I don't even care if they are new envisioned dungeons with different setups, but atleast TELL US YOU HAVE SOMETHING LIKE A DUNGEON COMING OUT! Not stupid lairs, actual hour long content that requires teamwork.

    ok i am going to echo the sentiment. That trailer is f'n sick! Please let this be a sign of good things to come.

    Agreed... while the possibility of Epic Dread Vault returning is exciting, it is based solely on a 3 second spot in a trailer, and it may not even be what we are thinking... hoping... praying it is. We really do need SOMETHING concrete. Give up some hope here... please!

    "In any piece of content that you play more than once, there’s a danger that after you basically understand what’s going on, you don’t need to really pay attention anymore. Eventually, the content can be played by muscle memory; it becomes repeatable. Once this happens, you stop really engaging. When you’re no longer engaged, everything feels like a chore."

    So wait, are SWs getting reworked for this module and OPs toned down, or does that have to wait yet another module...?
