    To avoid this kind of scenario, they could just add a new trade bar currency entirely, keep the old shop items up, stop rewarding the old trade bars, and start rewarding the new ones.

    People will just watch what happens on Preview anyways and if coals become bound, or prices go through the roof, they will spend before the patch anyways.

    That said, I think this is overdue. Good, bad or otherwise, the items on there need a rework. Coals I think are fine, but 1000 for a green mount? 2500 for an Epic mount that, while cool, offers nothing out of the ordinary? Will be watching this closely...I have about 2700 bars to spend and if needed, I'll splurge on Coals or the Epic mount to sell (unless they make it all bound..ugh).

    Repeatable vs replayable

    Sounds like we are going to be running the same content over and over. It kinda sounds like lazy design again, tbh. I just hope that this time, it's going to be content Cryptic hasn't used before.

    All multiplayer games are essentially running the same content over and over, are they not?
    Try world of tanks/warships. You are running the same maps but each one tends to be different because people are always doing things differently, not to mention all the maps in WOT (oh, and should I add that when they roll out mods they are done flawlessly and pretty much work right from the beginning).

    Well sure in a way, but the Diablo series was quite groundbreaking with the randomized dungeons and even monsters abilities. That really helped replayability vs repeatable. I hope they go this way for the new dungeons.....if we get any dungeons that is.

    We'll try to get some more information up on the Tarmalune Tradebar Store before launch, but I'll definitely be pulling together initial feedback from this forum thread and sitting down with the devs to discuss.

    Thanks for the update. I would echo the sentiment that drastic changes should be communicated earlier rather than later. Def not waiting till launch which is months away.

    Any potential change to the Coal Wards in regards to making them more expensive to acquire will be poorly received.

    Either way appreciate the communication.

    I'd also recommend lowering the zen price of coal wards (not Preservation Wards though), but I guess that's up to the guys in marketing to figure out.

    Pretty sure WOT is a multiplayer FPS isn't it? There is a huge difference between a Multiplayer FPS and an MMO.

    All MMOs involve repeating actions, that is true. However, most have enough variance in those actions to make it fun and by the time the fun drops to boredom, new content is added. They have 9 dungeons scripted and ready...add those in, and a lot of the complaints go away. That and make the game about SOMETHING other than an endless grind for fodder, sending us to areas we were already sick of to grind more stuff we already ground is not fun.

    Dare I say it has got me excited .... hope it doesn't disapoint. I really hope they look at single players and smaller guilds as well

    FORCING the majority of your player base to play 4 mod old dungeons and trial will have a bad result on player base
    Changes are getting so bad i would rather prefer no new changes (RIP ICE FISHING in winter fest)

    The irony in replayable/repeatable is that you're doing the same 2 freakin dungeons over and over. How about bring back the old ones....

    And it scares me beyond belief, ToD boons and the guild ones take TOO LONG. I cannot fathom how agonizing they'll make the new campaign.

    And they wonder why they don't make much money now. Because many people hate the bloody game now. Why it couldn't remain simple like it was in mod 2 is beyond me.

    Replayable content... it would be nice if monsters in the zones would change like daily quests changed .. gotta catch then all.

    it seems that they're trying to make strides in the right direction.. moreso, it's proof positive that they are listening to community feedback.

    lots of things I mentioned in that old post have been at least examined by the devs. [fingers crossed for foundry love]

    Trailer = Awesome. Seriously best promo since initial lunch movie.

    Idea of random spawning in a DD or rotating boss rooms or such = Awesome.

    Turmalane rework.. = OMG, please guys, PLEASE dont drive away another 10% of the player population by doing something so randomly stupid, that its no longer worth giving YOU money via vip. If you remove cwards, I just dont know what to say.. PLEASE.. im literally begging you here, do not do something so stupid. Unless you REMOVE the need for cwards completely, do not remove them from the shop. This one item has me super nervous.

    New campaign = could be awesome, if its like dreadring or WoD areas, but if I have to sit around waiting for demons to spawn x 4 for 15 mins x 4.. NOT cool. That one mod almost made me quit the game, no player wants to sit around and wait for things to spawn.

    I will have to wait and see for the rest of it, Im exited, but will tamper expectation, considering last few rough months.

    love the equipment preview, I can't believe we don't have that. glad to see it solved.
    I'm curious about the replayable vs repeatable, hopefully they'll do it right *crosses fingers*

    I normally only discuss things concerning the foundry, as the creative outlet offered by the UGC this game has is really the only long term interest that appeals to me. With that said, I would like to thank you for posting this information and I am looking forward to playing it as an end-user.

    I hope it pans out for both Cryptic and all of us NWO players. I'm actually somewhat excited about the next mod. When will we be able to check it out on preview? Has there been any speculation of when the release of this mod will happen?

    Well, all I want to see is more ways to make AD in the game. This has yet to be addressed in any way, shape, or form. And no new info on whether or not the cost to level up everything is going to be reduced or are we just going to be stuck from this point on in the game only getting AD from dungeons/skirmishes/pvp. What good is a new mod if we are still stuck just running dungeons/skirmishes/pvp to get AD and not remotely enough at that.

    Why don't you address that issue before you start blogging about a new mod that no new or casual player will be able to do because of lack of any way to make AD in the game. That is what we ( most of us anyway ), the players, want to hear about before anything else.

    I am going to refrain from comment until this thing goes on Preview.

    Of course, the SH Mod was VASTLY different on Live than it was Preview.

    I hope that this module introduces some non-artifact, epic main and off-hand items, as well as a possible alternate 60-70 path.

    Well, after reading all the post on this thread I have to second this one overall, It's very hard to find ways to make some AD. Besides the cost of everything is crazy, this has to be corrected in someway. I'm a casual player, not a hardcore one and everytime I see something that cost me 400000 AD I just wanted to cry :'( I don't have 5 or more characters to be running around and wasting my whole day playing just to get some AD to buy something.

    This one is very important.

    Whenever there is a 'rework' it hasn't been good. Remember the 'reworked' one-shot dungeons (and the loss of the majority of them), or the 'reworked' leadership? Aargh.

    I'm not expecting this to be good. Like Pavlov's dogs, the verb 'rework' from Cryptic fills me with dread. I should not expect anything good, therefore I won't be disappointed :(

    As for whether we'll be getting another Tiamat zerg, I can't imagine assaulting someone of Demogorgon or Orcus' tier would be possible without 25 PCs from a narrative standpoint, so yeah-you can expect another zergfest.

    Very good, very good. But please don't forget airship combat. Sooner or later you need to implement it. You know Waterdeep has the biggest spaceport (in Spelljammer).

    Re-work of the trade bar store has me super nervous. Coal wards are ridiculous to purchase on the zen store, and if you make from scratch anything epic you're looking at spending a car payment. The only way this would make me happy is to add MORE items to the trade bar store, and make the gear they sell there actually WORTH BUYING. I mean seriously, have you seen the stats on the junk there? Nobody has ever bought any of that gear in the history of the game. That has to be what there talking about. At least I hope...

    Nope, only neverwinter i've played that uses the same dungeons/mini dungeons all again, some they just changed the starting location, so it is endeed a lazy work, as you can see on the stat of the game, to make it easy to understand, try to play neverwiter for over an hour and then tell me if you din't got bored after 30 min of gameplay, if u din't, i realy recommend you to pay a visit to your psychologist, you might have a serious problem
