Why does it matter what armor set is it ? The sum is ~2k, put a lower set and you have free ilevel points to use higher enchants to get the same stat sum. For all purposes they could have used 1 r12 instead of 5 r6 (for example) as long as the total is around 2k Ilevel.
Also how the hell a 2k ilevel player has only 3k power ? Just leveled a healadin to 70, only blue artifacts, green artigear, t1 set / guild armor and a mix of leftover r6 I got from the guild bank and I have over 10k power.

@micky1p00 shhhhhh, don't say that, its a secret remember They aren't supposed to know we could have a more effective stat line if we had used those rank 12's that we don't have or those trans enchants that we don't have because we in no better circumstances then they are (the scary thing is, except for freya, we were actually using rank 6's and rank 7's on our gear, freya was the only one removing gear pieces to lose ilvl, the rest of us were naturally at 2k )
They should just release a 3k version of the same dds , that are not tied to gear but to RP..
I would be down with that.
Then there will be complains that only the 1% or elite can complete it so it is not fair. So they nerf it and we are back to were we at .
Elites... just put rewards as nice "Badge T5 Nightmare Hero", I can run that dungeon for badge, but rewards... rank12´s I have, Trans.Enchant I have, rank4 mount I have... why make, for nice "Badge" and all see that dungeon is "End game content" for those who "need" challenge,
EDIT, Goober Award, nice idea,
, I like it and want get one,
Nice award, we did "fixed" party for eTOS and was litle easier than before, change seems to be good, maybe we try next it with Paladins.
ps. take break from game, mod8 hopefully bring new content for all, not only for 1% players,
i miss the old dungeons. even the t1+t2 epics - while not always honest with required gearscores, they were usually stepping stones in proper difficulty. the rewards (full sets of 4 epic armour) also helped increase survivability with each new set of dungeons. but who bothers with dungeons/quests anymore? just hop on a leeroy train + farm your way to legendary! -_-

Now that ecc is 2k proofed we went to the next step trying egwd. We entered in the following constellation: GF, DC, HR, CW, SW. As some people were at 2k others had to take some gear off. The way to the final boss was nothing special except for some soul forges caused by the team overlooking an add. For me egwd somehow is a little unclear. After we arrived at the boss we discussed the strategy, explained the different boss mechanics etc. Try 1: for me (SW) the boss fight was very hectic as I had to move around a lot. I hate that storm callers who are able to target their AoE to follow you. At some point the DC died. About 5 to 10 minutes the tank was down and so went the team. Note: nearly everyone complained about crazy lags and some players were just flying around because of unstable connection. Also some disconnects during the fight happened. Try 2: well, what can I say? Nothing different here except less human mistakes so we succeeded
After all this really felt like a challenge for me and am very proud of me and the team of course. I was very concentrated during the fight which lasted for like 20 minutes I think. All in all I think the difficulty is really good for the average player who keeps on improving his character and skills from t1 to etos to one of the other t2's. As far as i know we will soon have a guide from thefabricant for this dungeon.

Well, same here. They were fun to run with randoms and premades... that fun is now far gone.
Also because the dailys in stronghold have those dungeon quests for whatever shards. This was a good decision to allow more people to get those to advance SH.
Seems like most people are not looking at the overall picture (not just this game, but other games as well; if PWE wants to maintain and increase their market share; this is a must. Other MMORPGS are making major changes/additions and PWE needs to keep their players and hopefully attract more; not turn them away), but just their individual situations and wants and desires.
