Well i'm staying away from solo point capping in PvP atm now.. no point getting CCed for fun when you can't do a thing.
And I just tested ASeal heal, it's avg of 4k heal with ICD of 4sec (regardless of what I used BotS or Daunting Light). I can hardly call this a buff but it was as expected, ASeal usually heals for around 800 hp for me.
Note: I do not have the weapon enhance on for ASeal.
No problem, no offense on my side: just clarifying. To add: i'm mostly PvE, my build is a disaster in PvP.
I cannot say anything about cleanse because I don't use it after this change at least I don't have to respec .
Concerning AS, I've another point of view: it's very personal and it applies to Virtuous only. I'm not saying that you're wrong, just showing an alternative.
This is why I start with BoH/HW and not with AS, taking advantage of the HoT. I can forget healing for the next 12 seconds, enough to kill some mobs. No need to target the mobs, just focus on the team mates. With gift of haste it also increase the action points with a chance to trigger dailies. BG is very effective with the HoT features.
As I am also on Virt tree (still DO but planning to respec to AC) w/ faaaaaast AP gain (1 DG + 2 HW and full AP) AS change has minor impact for me, too. This - on the other hand - still does not makes the nerf acceptable. I just wanted to state this
Cleanse was an RNG based sometimes lifesaver feat in PVE and -I just read b/c I also never PVP - a used feat in PVP. The reason of the change was detailed by gentlemancrush. While I agree the current solution had to be made after reading it, I am still missing:
1. communication - give the community details BEFORE you slap the face. Many would argue -aka whine - but I could accept it w/ 2. (below)
2. improve the feat while nerfing it - I explained the DoTs in PvE. Cleanse has no use to clean them w/ low chance + long (20sec) ICD. I am 90% sure it is the same for PvP.

I always save BoH for emergency (Empowered) clutch heals. Is there a way as AC you can freely use it right at the beginning? My CD is 13sec on it ATM, I feel it too much to just start w/ it.
Ahh! This change in cleanse is not good! The tooltip used to read, " When you heal an ally you ... have a chance to remove a negative effect from an ally". Now it's only for DoTs and has an 8 second cooldown?
Wow, this is a seriously bad nerf. DoTs are much less in number than negative effects in this game. If this was a fix for the Paladin temp HP removal, couldn't you just have coded it so that the OP temp HP wasn't a 'negative effect' instead of removing utility from this important DC feat?
To the Devs at Cryptic: I would hope the Cleanse feat would be re-implemented as it was orginally intended, I had specced into my build with cleanse in mind.

This is the challenging point: increasing recovery is the only option I know. Currently I've 10K and I've:
BoH = 10.9 sec
AShield = 12.3 sec
DG = 9.7 sec
HW = 15 sec to recover
Brake the Spirit = 7.4 sec
Daunting Light = 8.7 sec
This numbers decrease when I'm buffed...
I made this choice because I want the same cooldown numbers I had in mod 5. With mod 6 the cooldown is much longer then mod 5.
10 K is made of:
- just 1 lvl 8 silver ench in the offensive slot
- 22 CHA
- A elven restoration set (I can increase with a mix of elemental\elven restoration set)
- 2 devoted ring on the ione stone (+652 pwr and +652 rec each)
- dead ring boon (+400 recovery)

So the Cleanse feat change made it to live as it was originally planned. So disappointing.
Preview patches pretty much never get changed before they get pushed to live, unless there's a HUGE problem. This doesn't qualify. Give it a little time to see if suggestions for a further change are considered.

Broken completely, unless you think feat points are worth spending to potentially clear Damage over Time effects only.
