I found this hilarious. You seem to be reducing the meaning of PvP to be strictly player characters fighting each other, while in the same post explicitly calling out being the winner of a PvP-style tabletop event. [/QUOTE
No it was not a PvP style event ,we fought against "NPC's " That the DM ran,not other players. But also he ran it with a lo damage so we never killed them or they us ,worst thing would be a broken nose or you got knocked out. Think fist fight not weapon fight.
Also as I said I sat at the table many times over the years with him and never did we ever PvP . This example I posted of a bar fight was a 1 time thing only.
The event I spoke of winning had no bar fight ,it was a royal wedding if I remember right. I played a thief/mage. We had no control over which character we played , we got handed a manilla envelope with character sheet inside so was luck of the draw. Also inside was a card with a # on it ,that was the table you sat at for that round. You played the same char. thru whole event but got moved from table to table for each round till we were down to 1 table .Players at each table would vote at the end of the round on who they thought role played their char the best.Started out with about 300 people and by end of weekend Sunday afternoon we were down to 7 players. So no there was no PvP involved.
Over the years I sat at the table maybe up to 25 to 30 times with him and he was a nice guy so to whoever said he wasn't tells me you did not know him.

Or simply create something that separate players by a GS range (like this: A Domination with all 10 players with a GS range with 1600~1800) during the queue, to prevent higher GS players face others with lower GS and prevent other higher GS players enter in your group, which is extremely common to happen in every level range (players with 1800 GS facing a player with 3000 GS in Domination level 70).
Simple, all they (devs) have to do is, create different skill tree tailor-made for PvP is by switching from PvE mode to PvP mode combat hotbars, so that way it will not effect PvE contents and quests.
or create hardcore PvP zones when most PvE players wont have to deal with skill adjustments or tag as "non-pvp" if they want to explore, these red zones in IWD is poorly planned.
Devs should know that some players dont like PvP and shouldnt force them to play PvP, it is so wrong.
i saw few items in PvP merchants, and i like a few, but no way to get those with unbalanced classes and cheaters.
You wantto remove a game mode because it isn't hardcore grognard friendly. No thanks. You could always recreate some old modules for yourself in the foundry and run those with your friends.

This along with ranked, because if you're a 70 and never participated, your item level might be high but you have zero tenacity. I'd like to see a ranked system with item level requirements. Low ranks means you've never pvp'd much and have zero tenacity, no glory to speak of. Higher ranked would be high item level and tenacity. It would mean a much more level playing field and I do beleive more people would participate in such a system. As it is most avoid it because they know they are going to be facerolled by a bunch of overgeared whales.
How can pve players say pvpers are toxic or crude when PvP players are routinely insulted directly and unprovoked by pve players???
To the op: why insult us? How about you take your opinion of PvP players and d&d and go **** yourself with them until you can learn how to make a suggestion without insulting an entire group of players while making it.
I can't count the number of times an uber-geared, p2w PvP'er swooped in and stole my quest objectives because he was in a hurry to finish his dailies as quickly as possible. I could name a couple of PvP guilds off the top of my head, but I won't for obvious reasons. That's why I personally feel that PvP should exist on its own server.

That's perfect! no one is forced to play pvp in this game. They listened to you.
That actually sounds good and doable
Good Idea
