Hello, everyone!

The patch notes for Elemental Evil were so long, that we had to publish them in blog form! To check them out, head here!

    Is this patch note accurate?

    "Binding Oath: All targets near the Paladin are forced to attack him for 2 seconds. During this time he absorbs all damage against him. When this effect expires he takes 50% of that damage and deals 50% of it to all foes in an AoE. Players affected by this power deal 75% less damage to targets who are not the Paladin. (+2s per rank)."

    Damage reflection was reduced in a preview patch (NW.45.20150317a.1).

    "Oathbound Paladin: Oath of Protection: Binding Oath: Binding Oath now reflects 20% of the total damage taken to foes when it ends (down from 50%). The Paladin still takes 50% of the damage he would have taken during this time."

    Artifacts may be refined up to rank 120 in the new Mythic quality.

    In the preview is lvl 140, we're having a patch note error or really a bug?

    All Overload slot enchantments can now stack up to 99 if no time has been used.

    This is not working as of today. it worked back at the very start when EE was first launched on preview, but not anymore

    Strange is that the same patch tomorrow release note is the same as the last patch note preview.

    So I think it has not changed anything.

    The reduction in the SW Fury capstone's damage isn't in the notes. Is that a mistake or are they not going through with it (yet)?

    And there's also some changes, including some big ones, with the OP vs. what's on preview right now.

    Aura of Haste and Aura of Templar on O. Paladin? Where? On the Preview Shard the paladin has Aura of Solitude and an even more useless one.

    Devotion OP has 500% heal boost on Sanctuary? Where? On the Preview Shard it is boosted to 200%.

    Divine Touch as HEAVY radiant damage? WHERE? at level 63 that ability barely did hit the 3000 damage. WTF?

    Aura of Courage .25% damage boost / rank? where? On Preview shard it is still .10% / rank.

    You guys seriously think that we are that stupid and blind? I dont mind the numbers but at least STATE THE TRUTH!

    Final patch note is always a mess of old changes new changes and never happened changes...really there is no point in reading it

    Were not healing potions supposed to have an increased cooldown timer? Or is this a placeholder until the real patch lands on the 23rd?

    Currency items such as bounty items and event tokens now stack to over 9000.

    loled... hope this patch delivers

    I noticed there was no ETA or time-converter in notes.
    Could that be edited and added please?

    • Traps now deal a percentage of Hit Points as damage and cause an injury.
    So it's a "secret" percentage?
    Unknown percentage?
    Random percentage?
    ONE percentage?
    Percentage of... Total Hit Points?
    Current Hit Points?
    Different percentages based on trap?

    I'd like to know where we will be able to get future Chest of Campaign Treasures, if not in the Vault... or if they are being completely discarded...?

    I can't wait! I'm especially excited about the companion changes and the paladin class!

    Welp.
    Turned down in the middle of the 2x exp event D:

    Through, it's a really good change, it would be cool if the 2x exp could be extended for the same ammount of time as the downtime.

    So now traps gives injury, well then no more foundrys for me, because some people just fill up their maps with traps without a way to "avoid" them. Unless you are a TR who can dismantle them...

    Class Mechanics

    Oath of Protection: Your Damage Resistance is increased by 10%, you generate 500% more threat. When you take damage you gain power proportional to the amount of damage you took. This bonus caps at 50% of your Max HP in Power.

    The half patch notes are copy paste from the first preview patch notes other are from other patch notes.But anyway we will see in game.

    Excellent point! I've reviewed several Foundry quests where there would be a trap right in the doorway between sewer rooms with no way to avoid them.

    Of course I have -- and a party of players around the table, one of whom was playing a thief who could find and remove them. Foundries are intended to be done solo.

    Find GOOD foundries then :-)

    Such authors probably stacked traps to try and make them meaningful. With the new changes, a single trap that you hit is meaningful (and unavoidable traps are always bad style).
