I don't even have one of these glass cannon characters, but rather a 32k HPs (more with buffs) / 40% DR / Greater barkshield / over 700 tenacity cleric. That's boring. Everyone warned the devs about TRs and pvp before module 5, but the devs proceeded anyway as if the players didn't know anything about the game, as usual.
How's that supposed to be fun when someone can sneak to you and kills your character in one hit? Sometimes two if the hit is deflected?

Then you're doing it wrong because clerics have a major weakness: they have no CC immunity and no CC break. TRs have very little downside and there's nothing one can do against one hit kills of doom.

...uh, I think rayrdans point was not that the DC has a problem (OP's comment aside, He's probably DPS DC at heart...). It's rather been that the - properly rubberized and mil-specced - DC is a problem.
I'm playing a PvE DC in GG PvP occasionally, and I really get somewhat shredded by the TRs, too. similar loadout as OP. But RiDO, not Virt/Faith AC-DC.
And for your GWF having a problem: I know at least two of them from the red side who are all but unkillable - partially maybe, because they come in a preform bundle with an AC-DC who buffs them up to that, but definitely, some skill plays a role in that, too. And ofc a lot of gear.

We all are. And yes we created TR alts for pvp but while it solves individually the issue, for the community it only makes the problem more unbearable. Instead of zero or one TR in pvp at Beta we now usually can see two on each side, and the resqult depending only on those four while the six other participants have no use. What next, three TRs on each side? Five TRs?
The "elite" crowd at the moment is TR, HR and CW (in that sequence). GWFs are trying ways and means to gate crash into the party. Lucky for them they have the numbers to back them up for the advantage of once being THE favorite for many mods had gained them many followers.

If you look at battlefield effect, the AC-DCs are heavily impacting PvP, and, yes, bordering on OP when properly specced. This goes so far that they effectively can kind of immortalize all their teammates on the same capture point with them, while they're practically unkillable.

Nothing wrong with "TR match", they prevail and other classes/newcomers stay out. Hopefully mod6 brings some some cool pve content to play with...
TR already received one nerf over this and my TR could not one shot people before the nerf (scoundrel) and now I simply enjoy doing less damage than I did then. Damage DC's easily triple my one hit ability so before this gets into a nerf request make sure you properly target it to the correct spots.
Actually, come to think of it, the many cries on these forums have already correct this as the executioner on pts is done as it stands now as is the scoundrel as well. Prepare to revert back to your cries about the TR's you cannot see again as that is what it is back to again.

i got to 38k hp and 46% DR. mod5 hit live, first day was fine second day was fine 3rd day i got one shotted, litterally. I've not entered pvp since then. something broke from prev to live and was never fixed. pvp is a waste of time if you are a dc unless you are 25k gs or a lame dps spec

faitfull dc are a problem in group fight and are more or less unkillable in 1vs1 but you never know what can happen.
dps dc may be a little more squishy but when they crit once you are dead by bleeding before you can kill them with raw dps...which is ridicolous.
with sunburst fixed they should be more in line but fire of the gods in not balanced at all

AC has Annointed army. immune to CC + removes one if affected.
DO - hammer of fate. yep, very situational, but still - immune to cc while casting.
and... Cleanse. 3/3. and don't tell me that on every dragon (esp. merothrax) you didn't notice that it removes CC as well.
so - at least 2 way to break control for every DC of EVERY paragon.
now. TR - MI. ItC, yes. but personally... i see so much of them that i always choose WK. and WK has 0 ways to break CC. you can be controlled while in stealth, vengeance's pursuit do NOT break ANY CC in any moment of it.

i feared it - oh, permadaze, SoD... and i was really disappointed. maybe all those 70+ TRs were just new to game. maybe i was extremely lucky (though almost every time it was 1*1). but still - stealth - 100% run to me - LB. really? dodge 9/10. dazing strike/smoke bomb? hell yeah. o'course non-stealthed and in a mile away. out of those 70 only...5 were really good and only 2 WK gave me real trouble.
after all - what is TR? single-target damage dealer.
what is DC? support class, if someone still remember.
now don't tell me you want balance where support kills DD.
I dunno what to say if you think AA and HoF so competitive in pvp. AA is the worst daily in pvp, why do you use it when you are focused and why do you use it when no one attack you? Cleanse only has a chance to remove one debuff if we heal ourselves, so many requirements isnt it?
TR is not easy to counter. Are you a one month old p2w 23k DC dueling with those trolling 5k TR?? Do you have 50k hp? TR crits you for 60k+ with LB and SE and how can that doesnt kill you?? Also as an advice dont use HoF in pvp, use GoF is better. You will die during that HoF duration.

smoke bomb, sunburst, classes who kicks you out of your empowered AS like CW, GF, GWF are DC killer No 1, but.. all should know that by now
if you take enough tenacity , def stats, fokus on HP (most DC i see have 35k HP and wonder why they got onehittet) and time your dodges , it is indeed very hard for all, esp for classes without CC or kick, or for player who are inable to play their class - i talk about PUG´s
until now i didn´t recognize a real cc-breaker when stunned or cc´d as DC? you have cc immunity by dodge, AA thats it

HoF - i know. solo-target, not the best damage, still, while casting you are immune to CC + take less damage. o'course it's not full HP here and now and death to all around you, but that's the way as well. esp because ppl saw that daily extremely rare and not that sure what to expect.
cleanse, yep. every time you heal someone, you heal yourself as well. + even heal from astral seal. + virtuous and healing lore. not that hard to lay one on yourself and took away CW's frost, for example.

and i'm not a p2w, the very opposite. i didn't try 60+ pvp that much, but in 50-59 where all powers and ultimate feats unlocked...
also - i often hear s*** like - 7gs TR kill 15-18-20+gs *insert any other class* in a single touch. that is wrong. and in 50-59 i meet those hell 7gs TRs, they die in fact.
Even more - to kill TR enough only 2 classes with some control. to kill DC faithful... even 3 could be not enough sometimes. and TR one-shots DC? it's you who has 17k+gs, huge exp and so on, and you telling me you don't know how to dodge LB? oh, please...
ok i agree in case of TR when 20k up and big in power, but not all Tr´s deal that damage you talk about
At my level (17k+), 7/10 TR i met deal this type of damage to me. The others are either very low gs with green gear or perma TR. SE ignores armor too so dont have any big interaction with our defense. The greatest damage i received is 68k at full hp, which i doubt any DC can take that damage without dying, but that is only once for me, the rest range from 40k to 50k+, 60k onwards is a bit rare for me, once in a blue moon i may saw this type of damage.
@ug2bk, i can even dodge smoke bomb and SE, but not under the any daze and cc.

Something is really wrong with me but I cannot stop laughing when I read posts by TRs like "nerf HR roots - they are broken" and by DCs "nerf TRs - they 1shot me". Thanks for the fun tho.:-)
