I like all my toons, but some are as AD slaves and storage room active, but i will bring them all to 70.
My first will be the TR together with the CW, the 2 best and most Dev loved classes and if one isn't masochistic it is the best choice, more so if the current harsh changes from preview go live. I think they will be the most capable to survive.
Second will be my HR, a good toon to follow.
Third row, my GWF, my DC, my SW.
Last will be my poor, formerly main, the GF...still utterly broken.

Interesting almost noone is leveling the new class first. I would not have expected that but would think many people would want to jump straight in to developing an OPal.

I figure people will level their main toon first, so this poll will give a "general" breakdown of the number of each class for "main" toons for all people who post of these forums.

Mod 6 will be the Alt-Killer [for me at least], I would play 4 or so characters of different classes for fun... there will be no fun anymore in doing that as my main takes a beating in mod 6, I'll never be able to upkeep the alts to keep them remotely viable
... looks like they'll all be relegated to Leadership duty for the most part.

Been looking forward to upgrading my Perfect Sarcasm font, but due to recent changes it seems I will need to grind the Nine Hells for my Pure Sarcasm font... ironic isn't it?
Gonna stick with my SW. I don't have alts. Was planning on making a paladin also at some point.

I have at least one level 60 of each class. I tried out the OP on the preview server, and will definitely be creating one. Whether that will be my first character to reach 70 is another matter entirely...

No matter how much Pain my main Class have to accept,
I would prefer to leave the Game than to switch to TR or other OP class.
to be a GWF it's a attitude towards life.
I've been a TR as my main since beta, even through the "<font color="orange">HAMSTER</font> phase" where no one wanted a TR in ANY dungeon run. Never forget that the TR was the LOWEST rated class for about a year!

So there will be lots of DPS LFG for dungeons, but few tanks and healers....as usual.
Well my DC is currently Divine Oracle Righteous, but I am seriously thinking about switching to Faithful just for this reason... although I really have no idea how to be a healbot, lol

I will be leveling my tr to 70 and nothing else..

I hate paying taxes! Why must I pay thousands of dollars in taxes when everything I buy is taxed anyways!
My main has always been a TR since I started playing, more than a year ago. So he's the first one who will reach 70.
also I have deleted most of my opther chars.
Main is my Drow Guardian Fighter. So she'll hit cap before anyone else. Kinda nice that GF are also getting a dps boost across the board

That would be my TR... though as one of my guildies have said,
"the need for GFs and DCs will go through the roof. The desire for the "filler" classes will take a hit".
Since I have a 60 GF and a 60 TR I will be playing with both. Considering that I am new to tanking this will be a learning process.
Anyone can be DPS... not everyone can heal of tank.
Atwil "At" - Tiefling TR / Saardush - Black Dragonborn GWF / White - Tiefling OP
My GF first. That will also determine the grind. I personally feel Mod 6 will be the death of the alt and if the grind to 70 is as bad as I fear, then the rest of my toons will be ignored or dragged out a few months from now when I am sick of the GF.
PSA: You don't need to grind Spinward Rise for your Elemental artifact main hand if you have some AD lying around. You can craft it via the Tyranny of Dragon's campaign screen.

I choose you, rogue-a-chu.
The game has effectively made me pick a favorite, so the WK Scoundrel it shall be. He's the one I did the most pre-mod prep on so let's hope I did not choose poorly.
Well, it is counter-productive for people to stick with under performing classes out of stubbornness/in hopes they get fixed. My TR is also my second, my hr my third, then my gf then my sw. CW is is the only one of these I am still leveling, the others are at level cap (for now!).
the problem is id love to switch classes but ive gotten so far with this class in the campaign i dont wanna have to start all over again. that and it took me so long to learn my class and become really good, plus i dont wanna follow the crowd full of cws and trs.
Guys i am at lost in which class to play, i am a fairly new too neverwinter, i have only been playing for 2 days, and i have a lvl 9 GF and a lvl 12 GWF, so i come to the forums to look at some builds, and i noticed all these thread about how GWF and GF is really bad at the moment, and how other classes out do them at everything, so guys i need help which class should i play? i am mainly a PVE guy, range and melee doesn't matter to me.

Off topic, but heck... ...it's my thread :^D
- CW will always work, the one class that never gets overnerfed in this game, though leveling can be somewhat painful, initially.
- DC can be built offensively or as healer, but you somewhat have to decide some time between level 30 and 45 which one you want. Choose healer (Faithful/Virtuous) if you're the party player type, and choose DPS (Righteous) if you solo more.
- The fighters you tried already... ...they're both fairly solid, the GF is the Tank, and the GWF is the DPS variant.
- HR is all about mobility, both yours and theirs. Fun, but IMHO more challenging than the other classes, and options in all directions.
- SW had been fun, but has taken a hard hit by the nerf-hammer and "restructuring measures", I wouldn't counsel to start one right now, as a new player.
- TR is a good learner's class, as it gives you a somewhat failsafe exit strategy from tight situations - stealth. My first char was a TR, and that was a good choice - sneak past the stuff that killed you a few minutes ago and show them your (invisible) middle finger while walking by :^). It's also absolutely viable in endgame.

I have to admit I'm amazed to see so few healers on the roster - so I'll probably have a sweet and easy time to get into parties :^D
