With the new changes to leadership there is going to be a severe drop in the amount of AD you will be able to get .
The level 20 profession task time has increased to a base rate of 16 hours ( still 1600 AD though ) .
With 2 adventurers this will take 10 hours 40 mins .
1 adventurer is just over 12.5 hours .
Cryptic really wants to cut a large amount of AD out of the game if this goes through . No way to ever reach the 24K rough AD cap again .
The level 13 AD task also is increased by a couple of hours .
Better start buying up all the heroes you can folks ............

Once you get to level 25, you should be making about the same amount of AD. There's a new 2000 AD task that takes 24 hours.
Plus there's new tasks that reward resonance and other refinement stones, so that's a plus.
I think the adjustments were pretty fair, all in all. I certain like the idea of adding in the tasks that reward RP stuff. That's a substantial boost to the profitability of Leadership.
EDIT: With the changes, Leadership might just become a "check once a day" profession for me. Which I'm fine with, honestly.

I'll reserve final judgment on Leadership until I've calculated drop rates on high-level rewards, but purely from an AD standpoint Leadership overall income wasn't hit hard at all. The activation energy was raised, but with enough workers 24kAD per toon per day is easy.
If you're rich and can afford good workers you're fine. If green-worker invoking rewards isn't a bug, EVERYONE will have purple leadership armies and longer times will be meaningless.
The lvl25 task generates less AD than Destroy Enemy Camp btw. They can't even get the most basic things right.
Severe reduction is wrong though. With 7 slots you are right now able to get exact 24k RAD per day with two Adventurer's per slot. At 25 you'll be able to get 22.2k. So yes it's a 10% nerf overall, but since you now have to manage two long tasks probably most will get more out of it. To get the full 24k right now you would need to login start tasks every 4 hours and that's impossible.
So most are probably right under 20k anyway and will be able to maintain that level.
Wait, wait, back up the truck for a minute.....RP items from leadership tasks?

I'm fine with the changes too. I generally only do leadership once a day anyway, except if I am on one of my main two characters. Which in their case, they use purple and blue people anyway. Looking even deeper at the changes... leadership boxes now contain way more chances for refining items, which is also great!
So far I can also see a l22 rare needing 3 camp clues for 1.5k ad in 12h and 2 rare resources that grants 4k ad in a day plus a bad with a bag that has power/stab/union stones (likely mostly minor stones). Overall it's a leadership nerf though.
Ok, I've determined one thing. I don't in any way, shape, or form have the patience necessary to test the changes made since I can't stomach the carpal tunnel inducing clickfest required to level up leadership on preview server.
Seriously guys, 6 clicks to get 240xp and it's 40k just to reach rank 21. That's 1000 clicks minimum just so I could test the first new rank....You're not going to get much detailed feedback from this, I really can't imagine more than maybe just a few people going through that much ridiculous grind.
If possible, we need a way of instantly raising the profession ranks on preview...
Anyway, from what I can tell the nerf to Destroy Enemy Camp is overly severe. I have no problem with the decrease in AD/hr, but making it a 16 hour task is too much. That means anyone not running it with at least a 50% speed bonus is going to only be running it once per day, making it effectively a 24 hour task. So the xp/hr, gold/hr, and profession box also lose value as a result of this nerf. If lowering the AD income from it is what you're after, I'd recommend lowering the AD directly to 1200 and leaving the 12 hour timer alone.
The Deliver Metals nerf just seems odd. Considering it wasn't worth doing previously unless you stumbled upon a large number of mining claims for free or dirt cheap, I wouldn't think it merits nerfing. And if somehow someone did find a way to make it worthwhile, I can't imagine nerfing it from 150 AD/hr to 120 AD/hr is really going to be significant.
I expected the overall nerf in AD income via leadership, and I'm not especially concerned about it. But what does irk me is that you guys took the time to nerf a little of the old tasks, toss on new tasks that at least from first appearance seem better balanced, but did nothing else to improve the balance of the old tasks. Leadership has more useless tasks than any other profession in my opinion, its current usefulness is tied to AD and now RP both of which promotes passive gameplay for things which should require active gameplay, and it has by far the worst XP progression.
Personally if you really want to salvage this profession you should consider removing the AD and RP gain from it and find something else to focus it on, preferably something companion related given its name. But even character buffs, profession buffs, party buffs, guild management tools...many other things could work so much better than being an AD/RP farm skill.

No... just no. Remove AD from Leadership and the game is dead... at least for me. There is just no other way of having a reliable continuous AD income.
I wish the level 25 Leadership task would be 20-22hrs or so, that way we could at least routinely get 2 of them in each day. With 24hrs it is bound to be slipping forward.
Hanfsalat tell me whats the secret to jump 850k FOR 27kk AD???? Lol
I copied a few characters from live to preview. After that you login to another account on preview and put some items on the AH. With your copied characters you buy these items. Collect the ADs on your alternate account. Put an item onthe AH on your main character you want the ADs on. Logout and purchase the item with the other account.

If the RP items from leadership were left unbound I think I would probably be so surprised that I would suffer some kind of seizure .

Stupid me. You're right.
We will have to choose to go for raw AD or for bag.
Almost... ^^
