Is that what came from the AMA? I skimmed it, didnt really see much of anything actually with an answer.
(may of had to do with quality/content of questions). And no I didnt participate cause I saw the responses, my questions im sure they wouldnt be able to or willing to answer, based off answers given.

Ok I read that part, without any details given. My hype meter is jumping. But my expectation on delivery Im keeping low.

Edit: If its sorted by "best", scroll down, he answers a bunch of additional questions from I think facebook. He does a good job for what he can answer, but you'd figure he'd be tied down on more technical and future release info.

Is the strange and unexpected thing that it won't be released in a buggy state? That would be quite appreciated.

Let's be honest here, the most interesting thing here is the unexpected feature.

The funny part about that is that no one will know or even hint closely about what it is until the launch, because it's impossible to expect that.

So if you expected something, you can make sure that it's not that.

with NW (and life in general) I've adopted the "Open minded pessimism" philosophy.
I don't expect anything good from anything or anyone, but I'm open to any good things coming my way XD

Okay let me offer my predictions.

    2 HUGE things:

    1. rework T1/T2 dungeons to be T3-level quality (min GS: 13k) with a new-and-improved T3.5-level CN (min GS: 15k)
    2. Artifact Armor! (you know it's coming)

    4 Big Things:

    1. New adventure zone with dailies and heroic encounters
    2. New dungeon, T3.5 quality (min GS: 15k)
    3. Upgrading the Foundry (I hope!)
    4. New Gear sets that probably suck

    1 Medium Thing:

    Another PVP map

    1 Totally Unexpected Thing:

    FREE ZEN FOR EVERYONE!!!
    (okay not really)

Maybe RP will start dropping from the sky like candy. That would be unexpected, for sure.

the last time I was looking forward to big changes came Icewind and the change in the charater designer ... i hate both

someone commented on the forum about multi classes and seemed something so chaotic (fun, but chaotic) that I am absolutely certain that the devs loved.

I'm thinking two huge things will be new class/race and new dungeons/ content. Smaller things will be foundry updates, PvP maps/mode, current class revisions (I'm looking at you GWF), and changes to the refinement process.
As for strange and unexpected I will say a new type of mount or companion
    Threat level 60 Guardian Fighter
    Gloom level 60 Control Wizard
    Dusk level 60 Trickster Rogue
    Dawn level 60 Devoted Cleric
    Eclipse level 60 Hunter Ranger
Wrath level 60 Great Weapon Fighter
    Jinx level 60 Scourge Warlock

This sounds legit... like, this looks like something that a dev would point out with those words.

If I could bet in anything, it would be in this prediction.

Good chance that one of the "huge" things is a level cap increase.

Huge things, big things, unexpected things don't really mean good things. it's just marketing. I'm dying of curiosity if they have anything fun planed for future updates. They have proven they are hell bent of taken the game in a direction that the players hate. We tell them we hate certain things and they keep pushing them down our throats module after module. I'll need to see things with my own eyes before I believe anything. Till then I have no hope for this game.

    So nothing substantive? That's unfortunate.

Surprising thing #2: New item tier: Godlike. Requires even more rp. Also rank 10s can be upgraded to rank 15 and there's a rank above perfect.

One of the things may be a weapon enchant rebalance.

    1. Level increase to 65 or 70
    2. RP cost to upgrade current artifacts to level 65-70 tier
    3. New Class, Druid, Bard or Paladin. I would really like to see Warlord.
    4. New Race. Gith-zerai?
    5. New Artifact Equipment, Ring Sets.
    6. New Major Region with new host city. Luskan or Waterdeep or Silverymoon.
    7. New Map Interface, Similar to the Thay jump map allowing for travel between major regions.
    8. Something to tie in with whatever is next after ToD with WotC.
    9. New quest line, the Arcane Brotherhoods seeks adventurers to help them return to the Host Tower of the Arcane in Luskan or find out what has actually happen to it and it's survivors. The Return of Arkleem Greeth, Valindra's revival?

Considering the lack of activity in the Foundry Forums, it may be too little too late. It would be beyond strange, that's simply unheard of. You have to consider that they push metrics before anything else. They'll release Artifact Head, Body, Arms, and Feet with astronomical RP requirements before they do anything major with the Foundry. Sorry for the cynicism. I like the idea of better Foundry rewards. Two classes are likely, as is another monetized race.

DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT THAT MEANT?
YOU GET TO PICK 2 MORE PARAGON FEATS THAT MEANS INTIMIDATION BUILD WILL BE UNSTOPABLE
    3. New Class, Druid, Bard or Paladin. I would really like to see Warlord.
    THIS IS VALID
    4. New Race. Gith-zerai?
    5. New Artifact Equipment, Ring Sets.
    NOP.
    6. New Major Region with new host city. Luskan or Waterdeep or Silverymoon.
    YES THAT IS POSSIBLE
    7. New Map Interface, Similar to the Thay jump map allowing for travel between major regions.

what they might do is to increase the quest line, but you wont increase in LVL.
there will be 2 new classes .
    they will rework the enchantments.
they will do a tournament for pvp.

There was a post/quote by Cryptic dev/producer that a level increase was coming "soon". Mod 6 seems about right to me.

like i said, increasing in level will divide the pvp community and the pve community even more.

and a lvl 70 you get 10 more points in paragon feats. you know how much will that imbalance the game? :)
    so lvl 60 its enough.

they will probably change the gameplay with mod6 so that you will do some tasks similar to those of pvp gauntlegrym. and get certain rewards.

I think it is too soon for a level cap increase.

I think a new class is likely. Probably Paladin or Bard.

And there's gonna be artifact something. You just know it. Probably artifact armor. Artifact underwear? Who knows.

and probably some special unique ability
like AP gain or + AC .

The only thing I'd consider truely unexpected would be for them to fire/slap their product manager for making them miss out on so much potential income from the smaller zen buyers and go for an entire price overhaul to cater less to the whales.

Then again, it's not just unexpected but unrealistic.

I sincerely hope that I never get slapped at work...

Anyway, I went back and answered all of the questions that I hadn't gotten to before the hour mark was up and I had to bolt, as I felt that was the most fair way to finish the AMA (since I was like 30 minutes behind on question answering when the time ran out). I know a lot of people are disappointed that I wasn't able to answer their specific questions / issues in detail, but I am pretty sure that it is impossible for any one person to know the answer to every question that came up.

As for the things coming in the next module - I can confirm that one of the things will NOT be Artifact Underwear (unless nobody has told me about it yet).
