Thanks for Jewelcrafting Cryptic.

With this wonderful profession's help. I can boost my alt account's gearscore.

I have 20 characters, but only do boons on 3 of them because this game is very alt-unfriendly.

But at least this profession will boost the alt's GS.

    I only skimmed all the tasks, but the new reinforcement kits and customized items seem cool.

    Disappointed in the personalized stuff being bop which makes it pretty alt unfriendly to me. Getting decent stuff under that is easily gotten otherwise so I guess I'll only level it and use it for one character. I did do weaponsmithing and artificing for most of them, but I really don't feel like doing what I've already done again and again.

    I do agree. I feel that if any crafting item needs to be bound, for whatever reason, it should Bind to the Account until equipped and then bind to the character.

    Godamn it , I knew I totally overlooked something xD I need to level it just for my augment to gear up , my character itself has no use for the belts or necklace due to it's artifact gear and I think it is a safe bet that module six will have artifact rings so no point putting so much effort into crafting two expensive rings that will get replaced within in a few months in all likelihood lol.

    Also be aware that the reinforcement kits from jewelcrafting can ONLY be applied to rings, necklaces, and belts.

    I didn't have this issue. There is sometimes an issue where *no*tasks show up in the gateway - type "gather" into the search box and see if anything comes up.

    You can also try typing in other task names - "gather" is just a fairly generic one. Good luck!

    It's bugged until you log in. I had it not level to 1 until I logged into the game.
    Largely inactive, playing Skyforge as Nai Calus.

    Question... Are 'Simple Leather Strips' a new drop item? I'd think that after over a
    year of playing (and never having used leather) I'd have a ton of them. I ran out
    after 5 tasks. They now sell for a minimum of 333 AD each on AH. Ouch.

    I'm ok with what are arguably the best rings in the game being BoP. You want them? Spend the time and effort to get them on that character. Otherwise, pony up for a draconic shore ring or whatever.... The crafters and tools aren't bound, so you can pass them around. Heck, you can even buy the precursor ring so you don't even need purple tools!

    If they were bta then I could put up that work to use on all of my characters. It also has consequences on making AD. You need 4 purple tools to make the gemmed stuff, those are going to be fairly expensive. Now if not everyone can make use of the profession, and you need to max it out, then you also have a limited amount of demand which could result in a near or 0 profit margin. Something BiS shirts/pants don't face.

    They didn't exist until yesterday since they're made in the new profession.
