Well look. NO campaign is going to be friendly to anyone who has 15 (!) alts. C'mon, that is asking too much. Unless you want a campaign that is just so stupidly short that you can gear up and boon up 15 alts in like a week or something.
Someone made a suggestion to have campaigns account-bound.
I was on preview and was consufed by this, but what you are saying this:
I have to pay THREE books, approximately valued at 4M AD that will increase 5% crit severity to 6.5% crit severity, which will (optimistically) increase my DPS in the .4% range.
MEANWHILE, i could spend that SAME AD to get an epic eryness and increase my crit severity 10%, or 3% DPS.
The grind being introduced is totally PWE. Try STO if you don't believe me. Personally, I am enjoying the PnP campaign 10,000 times more. WoC listens to their player base.

For D/D maybe, they killed magic for me when they lied about Mythics. Said they wouldn't make them tourney staple cards, and....that lasted about 1 cycle. Not to mention how they wouldn't be "mana utility cards" and again, lasted about 2 cycles.
They're a good company for D/D I think though, they at least realized how much people hated 4th edition and then listened to what fans actually wanted. That reminds me, this is based on the 4th edition......
