These glyphs are just sad...being able to deal continuous 600 dmg to a player even if you don't hit him ? why was this even put in the game lol. It was bad enough with all the rich players spending about 30k ad per match for all buffs and now these glyphs....its just getting too much.
And to answer the question I know people will say. I don't want to buy these glyphs, I know everyone can get them but just because they are accessible doesn't mean I'm going to use them.
I have seen a few players with these now and when I was fighting another gf he was reflect based so when I hit him he reflected back a bit of dmg, but this was procing the glyphs so I was getting 600 dmg even through guard over and over and went to half hp in a few seconds ? I have 47k hp 46% dr and 21% tenacity, no way a glyph should do that much dmg....

Glyphs do "piercing" damage. Even if you deflect it, those 600 numbers just appear with curved arrow meant you actually did deflect that damage, but it still pierces through everything.

Things are not fine in PVE by a long shot. The CW change might help a bit but if anything, PVE is more imbalanced than PVP. And there's no reason to use red dragon in PVE as the content is not hard enough to warrant it.

Throw on guarded assualt for anytime supremacy is down and you basically have an invincible team. If you try to kill the GF that's causing the problems you die.

Yeah, pve is way more unbalanced than pvp. Pvp is like rock, paper scissors I think. One class like cw for example can kill a hr quite easy but then a hr can kill a gwf very easy and so on. With all this unbalance in the game though it just annoys me that the devs ad pointless items like these dragon glyphs and a cockatrice...I mean really who thought the glyphs would be a good idea ?
nobody is playing PvP anymore because of GF + red dragon glyph. If you attack them its constantly 600 damage. Or any of their team members. can you please fix this so we can enjoy pvp again?
U can't mightate and deflect damage from glyphs and that is very, very unfair.
Crixus if u will have 3 CW in oponent team with red dragon greater glyphs that be ruining pvp (yesterday my GF meet 4 times premade composite from that and every moment i get 1800 dmg ;])

I just hope the devs will finally realize that sources of free damage that takes no skill to aim and pierces through all defense should not exist in the game. Instead of giving every attack a 600 damage buff, give it 5% more damage or 2000 power for you character for a couple of seconds. Or something like "every 2 encounters used make your third encounter stun it's targets for 2 seconds".
Right now you don't even need to think how to play with these glyphs, CW - hold RoF WTF; HR - apply careful attack and run around like a moron or if your IQ is higher then 50, apply aimed strike dot and watch your target die; GF - use ItF and KV, rise up your shield and spam /laugh; TR - PotB and go stealth, CoS out of there to finish the work. Only GWF suffers from inability to braindead. I killed 12k SW on my DC with red dragons by just holding left mouse btn in divine mode.
Don't even say a word about PvE, these glyphs make no difference in already trivialized content.

Yeah played a game today. A gf had KV on and using much reflect he was killing everyone on my team or doing crazy dmg at least. It seems the only counter is also using them, great I really hope they get fixed because in the end it will just be a reflect killing game.

Dont even get me started with DF on dragon glyphs. I land a DF out of stealth and pop itc, something which is a bit more complicated than smashing buttons and everything dies, then the GF is standing there, for all i know he could be afk, and 50% of my hp is gone. Great work

I am disappointed to say the least. Even the people that I expected quite a bit from use them.
So I suppose there's nothing left for me to do if I PvP but keep 2 Red Gyphs in my bag and inspect people when we start. If I see them wearing them and I appreciate it would be a close game, I will just put them on myself.

Half of the games end up against 1, 2, maybe 3 adversaries. These are classical "I am dumping the game so I won't drop in the leaderboard" occurrences.
Even worse are the cases when somebody kicks his party so he can then leave without the penalties...
It's the worse stage Neverwinter PvP was in all the game's life.
ofc they are going to use them, if they compete and the enemy uses it they will too. Why do so many people dodge recorded losses? same reason, they need to win to keep their cred.
Red dragon glyphs are just broken amongst many other things, i just put 2 on turn on knights valor and hold up my shield to reflect damage, and the enemy team just kills themselves lol. Even more funny in GG, and people wonder why i have such a low opinion about PvP in this game.

Get these ****ing Glyphs out of the game already. It just takes the courage to admit you ****ed up with them by not letting us test them on preview. But no, you just released them with the new lockbox. And they destroyed the game.

Red glyphs and many other buffs have destroyed domination for me atm, I still do good and rank up but that's not the point, I get games where the whole enemy team uses max buffs with glyphs and since I pug I usually have 9k or less gs players on my team and I'm sick of it. Icewind is where all the buffs should be so I might just quit dom for a while and go round icewind with buffs of my own.
Question: why not make them proc only in PVE? (sorry if this is stupid but I don t PVP, but I have tested the red dragon ghypsh in PVE and yeah...)

- Use broken OP glyphs or any other type of gear that is available, regardless of the fact that it is GAME BREAKING? Check.
- Leave game when they lose? Check.
- Kick people from PvP so they can leave without consequences? Check.
Pathetic.
This is why the DEVELOPERS need to be FAST and control these situations immediately.
The players cannot be trusted to police themselves. The broken items need to be taken down and rebalanced.

That's what I realized two weeks ago. You too will soon learn that it's not economical to slot-unslot glyphs from your overload gear, and be forced to just permanently have them on, all the time. Then you will melt people in PvP for a few days, be raged at, and never lose. Then you will get bored. Soon enough you will quit the game and troll the forums while you play something else.
