How to post a pic ?

How do i post a pic instead of a link to a pic ? im sure this is very easy but im not good at this stuff lol

. . . When making a new post, click "Go Advanced" if you're making a quick reply. Underneath the text field, there will be an Attachments button. Press this and a pop-up menu will open up (may need to allow pop-ups) where you can upload and insert images into your post. Upload the image, then check mark it and click Add to Post (you will need to go back to your post, click the cursor in the text field then go back to the pop-up and insert the image, if you do this without making the text field active, it won't insert).

. . . You can then post it as is and users can click your thumbnail to see the whole image or you can right click the thumbnail in your post and copy its address, then press the insert image button and paste in that address. Please check out our Rules and Regulations on posting meda.

If you use an image hosting site, like photobucket, one of the options they give you is to copy the link as an IMG tag - you just paste that into your post, and people will be able to see the actual picture instead of just the link. Keep in mind that you are limited to 4 pics per post, and animated gifs are not allowed.

The link of your pic will be between the two tags above.

I clicked add attachment and the [IMG][/IMG] is there but its not working...

Adding an attachment isn't embedding an image.

Just include the image tags in your post, with the link to the image inside the tags.

Your used URL there doesn't point to an actual image but a web page displaying your image. Going to that address and right-clicking on your image and then copying the address of the image directly is what you want:
