Seeing if anyfamiliar faces are here

This may or perhaps probably will get moved, I hope it doesn't though. What MMO did you play (if any) before NW? My DH and I came from UO, in particular Siege (Ulitima Online). DH played long before me, I came into around the time of Pub 16. What makes me rare is I never played on a Trammel server, I tried it once after playing on Siege for a bit (out of curiosity) and my exact words were "People like this game, and play it?" I found the Trammel shards to be to Care Bear for me.


So the big question is are there any people here from UO on Siege? If not, what game(s) did you play before this one?

    Me, I mostly played WoW on EU Servers (Sha'tar primarily and Ardent Dawn a little at the end), mostly Horde. I tried to drag some people who were sick of WoW with me but they've all vanished.

    . . . Prior to Neverwinter, I played STO, FW, CO, CoH, SWtoR, LotRO, EQII, and WoW... Plus some others I'm forgetting. I also dabble in EVE on occasion but UO was my first with the opening of Baja in September of 1997, which I played for a decade. Here's my "moderator" introduction and here's my MMORPG.com profile showing my gaming history.

    . . . In UO (oh the memories...) played on Siege from time to time but mostly on Baja as Terraseer, a real pimp (fisher/mace pvper), HavoK (perma red), and Goddess (perma red) and then on Origin as Terraseer, Elminster Aumar, Orvago, and many other names. I had 26 UO accounts with 5-6 characters on each shard. I was also Couselor Lord Magister on Oceania. Yeah, I was one of the earliest "land-barons..." but I was a nice one, I gave away more houses than I sold. ;)

    . . . I miss my estate... It was a Castle with a Keep behind it. Infront was a Large Tower and two small custom 9x9 "towers" with an L-Shape to the West within the Britannia Swamp, Felucca. I had always lived in Felucca, watching the game evolve from release to what it is now. Man I wish they would have continued development on Ultima X: Odyssey. Garriot's upcoming game looks fantastic, I cannot wait!

    . . . I was also "Orvago" (and sometimes "terraseer"), an Administrator for UO Stratics & ME for LotRO Stratics for some years.
