Hey everyone! Just thought I'd throw my opinion to wind to see if it's sails ever catch gust.

Overall, just stop with the 'Admin' notes. If I wanna know what kind of mount Varus or BigSkull got, I'll ask them. In english.

Pwe probably feels it helps sell more of them.
I wasted five million AD promoting the Foundry.

They will never give an option to turn the winner notifications off , just ignore them and after a while you learn how to tune them out ,if you get annoyed by them you will notice them more.

What iambecks says is true. I have learned to tune them out as I play to where I hardly ever pay attention enough to see them. As long as there is no... wait, I am not going to give PWE any ideas lol... Just focus on the baddies and the game and the letters will be mere background.

But! Don't move the message...because...because...YOU could be a winner, too! That guy who just won a Rusted Iron Horsolich...that could be YOU!

How do you do that, 'fantasycharacter'?
It's not a perfect solution, but it would really help quite a lot.

Also, I get that they're doing it to advertise, but it's making me wanna leave the game more than pay money into it. Even if you do happen to buy keys, it's not gonna stop the 'Admin' thing, so no matter how much I pay into the game, it's always gonna HAMSTER me off with these things.

What I find really funny, beside what Beckylunatic said, is when your at a vendor, you can't see chat, get no messages, can't see if your queue pops, but you can dang sure see if Orange won another Epic something or other.

And I have no idea what a Horsolich is, but I would so buy one. Just sayin.....

The Horsolich can be yours...just buy one more key, open one more cursed haybale lockbox...just one more key. :)

You know how slot machines sound off bells and flashing lights anytime somebody wins?

Yea was about to say the same thing.

Just try this folks, go to a big casino and tell them that the various slot machines make too much noise...then see how far you get with that. Its works the same way here.

Specifically the "general notifications" box...move it to where you like.

I would hazard a guess that a lot more people are purchasing keys than leaving as a result of the messages. If they annoyed the majority, they'd change their business model. I'm sure PWE has more than one marketing professional on staff. ;)

Its a marketing strategy that works.

It is a bit annoying. I'd rather not have advertisement on soccer jerseys, but that's the world we live in.

Those notices are so fast, and such a light color I barely notice them. @OP: If nobody cares then why complain about them at all? Unless you are a "nobody", that is. I don;t have a problem with them and they work at getting people to buy keys for lockboxes. It's simply the bright sparkly lights you see in every casino designed to get players pumped-up and excited with the whole "Look! See? Someone just won this and YOU CAN, TOO!"

They're not going away and like the OP says: I don't care. LOL
