Having to open 3 additional browser windows to be able to read the patch notes is not cool man... not cool...
Agreed. The Patch Notes section is where the notes go, not links to yet another page. Seems rather idiotic to me.

I understand why the servers need to go down, but 90 minutes for fixing what seems like 5-6 tiny things is kind of OVERKILL is it not?
and as always GMT time zone

Once per week, patches or not, Cryptic shuts down the entire system and gives a fresh restart to all of the machinery and even that is stated to be 90-120 minutes of downtime every single week.
However the scheduled downtime and the actual downtime are often vastly different. I have seen them come back up as quickly as a half hour and as slow as the full two hours even when the stated downtime is two hours.
Basically my point is that the scheduled downtime isn't necessarily the expected downtime. Simply the time they allot to take the servers down for weekly maintenance. It is highly likely for the servers to come back up long before the stated time.
Awwww just minor stuff, i've expected the PvP patch and some major bug fixes
That pvp content won't be added to the live server for a while yet , that's why it is on Mimic , content for the weekly patch is now on Owlbear for the time being.

The listed stuff is only the things they want us to know about , there's a number of other things they could do during downtime that they would never want to or need to explain to us.

sory for the bad word... just got carizy seeing patch notes... i was expecting an imporovement at least of gf
Remember as well that patching a server isn't just about patching the game. They could be applying the latest security patches for the Operating System that the game server runs on. Having a standard 2 hour window once a week gives the system admins time to plan and apply all sorts of patches and fixes including hardware fixes or driver updates unrelated to the game.

Contrary to the popular belief that has never once been validated by Cryptic's actions...
The Preview Shards exist because Cryptic is looking for feedback to tweak and refine the proposed changes. Major changes such as the PvP modifications and the massive changes to the GF will typically be on preview for a few weeks.
It's not a pre-release or whatever you wish to call it. Any balance changes that are on Preview will be there for a decent period of time.
In short, don't hold your breath. The updates will come out but it has only been a week since the updates were proposed.
Yeah, I have a level 60 GF and they def need to improve it. Especially in pvp you almost don't stand a chance. And in dungeons others players expect you to be able to do all the tank duties other games let you do. And then complain to you when can't like it's your fault the GF needs improving.
On a more serious note, behaving like a spoiled child and demanding this balance fix or that balance fix is not only rude it's pointless. You might think it's as easy for a developer as changing some variables and hey presto, your class is fixed. Well it's not. If they change something on one class they often have to compensate for it on other classes so as to not create a new balance issue with your class favoring from it this time.
It takes a long time to tweak, test, tweak, test and tweak classes so that everyone performs as expected while keeping it all balanced across the board. Often what you see as a balance issue is actually more a case of players not understanding class mechanics.
Be patient and be nice. When it's ready you'll get a class update. If you really can't wait then go and play on the test server.

I wonder what gear and spec these GF's are using. The GF's a fight are bears. They have GWF bleeds, regen health, blow you acrossthe screen, then fly up and slam you back down and, generally, control the whole fight. Maybe you're just playing wrong? 2 gwfs and a GF are, pretty much, unstoppable in pvp. As far as Unkillable DC's and Perma stealths cranking out more dmg then my HR that is 5500 power, 3200 cs and 2200 ap, well that's never going to change, the classes are played by the people that do all the complaining about the classes that are getting nerfed the hardest.
I am wondering what is the secret content included in this patch, any ideas?
800 MB - they are pre-patching something big to gamefiles, it cant be solely minor bug fixes.
Mostly because I'm curious, but is there a reason they do not just attach a link to the patch notes on the front page like they do with the rest of the News items?

Simply put, they aren't news worthy.
Major changes such as the ones we get with new modules are news worthy but standard patch notes would just clutter the front page with fixes here and there.
Most every, if not every, MMO has the same set up. New releases and major changes are 'news.' Patch notes are a separate archive.

I only have one QQ about this patch, and its hardly a serious one. From the facebook link provided I had to click FIVE whole times just to get to the patch notes. Can we make that a bit more efficient next time please? XD
edit: and now I see that there's a direct link in one of the comments. -shaking of fists!- :P
I'm glad to see the constant fixes and balances coming in, even if I don't always understand them at first. Keep it up .

. . .3 windows? Hmm, I just click the "Release Notes" link on the top right in the Launcher whenever there is a patch and am taken directly to the latest patch notes. The forums aren't designed to relay site-wide notes in real time, there-fore they are a repository for the location of the patch notes on the web site. My advice, don't make more work for yourself than it needs to be, click "Release Notes" on the launcher.

The link sometimes sends you right back to the page you were just linked from, It's probably more of an issue with the forum than anything else. It's not a big deal though.

Right... Except they could just add a edit to the bottom of the main update with each of these mini updates. This way it's not a clustered disorganized mess. Hell it even looks better because it reminds the players all the stuff the dev team has done in the current version.

the extra slot after having 5, will we be refunded the zen ?
You need to submit a customer service ticket, but they do seem to have been pretty good about refunding people who misunderstood how it worked.
