First wolf problems...everytime I get another wolf in a chest I can't take it out or any of the other items and not even take the teleport out of there since I have to pick up the chest award so I have to leave the party.....and I still didn't get any of the other rewards so really this is outrage's!
I've had this problem. The wolf prevents you from taking anything else from the chest if you already have a wolf on that alt. Incidentally this also means you can't conventionally finish the skirmish and must leave party.

No, they've coded them like quest items where you might get multiple drops, but you can only pick up one. And because you have the option to either loot the whole chest or loot nothing, it doesn't work well for people the RNG is loving.
I think you can discard the one you have and then loot the chest, provided it's on you and you haven't opted to fork over for a speed upgrade.

Your inventory may not be full, but if your primary bag is full, it can sometimes prevent you from claiming an item. Try collecting the item w/ at least 1 space free in your main bag.

If you haven't upgraded the mount to be faster, then just discard the mount what you have in your bags? This way you'll receive enchants etc. from chest.
Edit: ppl aren't understanding the problem here. Shadow wolf is 'unique' so you only can have 1 in your inventory at a time.
yes, it's been brought up that the shadow wolf is a unique item which means if you already have one, you cannot have another. so that goes for if you have one in your inventory or a bank slot. this does make it problematic when you are trying to get the other rewards but the work around seems to be discarding your existing shadow wolf first before collecting your new wolf and the rest of your rewards.
i suppose this is a better solution than having an inventory of bound-to-character shadow wolves. but i think just making these BoE might have also been a solution as well.

How about the chest drop some sort of token that can be used to exchange for mounts or skins instead?

Yes. ^This please. It's absolutely ridiculous that others get multiple wolves within 2-3 tries of running CTA, but the rest of us are punished with over 100 runs and still no wolf or skins! Make it token based like halloween or Waukeen event, you are alienating and pissing off a lot of players in the community who are treated like dirt by this RNG. Unless you're actively trying to drive your player population down and making them go play other companies games, I don't see the logic in your RNG-based event. So in the meantime, I'll be spending my cash elsewhere until this RNG mess is fixed by Perfect World and Cryptic.

80 runs for a wolf that now is in huge pains under my HalfOrc. Pls take a look at the scale it just looks silly.

Not so sure that this is a bug, but I think it'll gain a bit more notice here.
Anywho, I left my feedback about the unique setting of the wolf in the First impression: CTA Pit Fight thread. If you haven't, it might be worth posting there as well.
I personally am starting to find it funny that the Rare drops are coming up more often than the Uncommon mount. I mean, I understand the reasoning behind it, but the disparity in the "rarity" types is amusing to me.
Those who are up in the 100s, that is pretty unfortunate = /. I can only hope that they decrease the price of mount upgrades to something more logically feasible, as the shadow wolf would make a cool looking purple mount.
contents to be decided

This happens with other dungeon chest items I've seen. You can't carry
more than one Lesser Ethereal Cloak, either. Then again, you can't ride
two wolves at once, or sell them or trade them.
You're making the people who ran the skirmish 100x and got no wolves cry, btw.
A token system as a back-up would fix the too many/too few problems.
Did you really think anyone could steal the power of the god of thieves?

You made my day with that.
