Like everyone is sayin, learn to play your class and you'll be fine.
Rogues are pretty good at avoiding dmg.. when my GS was low I still did fine. Sure, I didn't do as much dmg, but I didn't focus on dmg. I focused on moves that increased survivability of the group. I've ran spell and fh with pug groups that wipe halfway through.. the only catch is YOU HAVE TO KNOW HOW TO USE YOUR SKILLS best to avoid dmg while still dishing it out. ditching lb was one of the best decisions I ever made.

edit: if you're still pug with your guild, why don't you try and teach them? not everyone knows the best strategy for running through these dungeons. GS doesn't matter, skill along with right stat stacking does. You can run T2s with minimum GS if everyone knows their role.

edit again: didn't notice this post was over a month old. didn't mean to revive >.>

Hi my third character is level 56 Rogue and soon max level. Can anyone provide a link to the patch info that nerfed all the classes please. Finding correct patch is difficult since they all the time do small patches that do not affect classes.

My advice to you is not to.

It doesn't matter what was....what is important is what is current, and that is all you know.

TR's are amazing in PvP and PvE. Believe that and don't look back my friend!

Heres a short video of a random PvP pug match I was in...TR's are a ton of fun in PvP

First off joining a Guild won't help you very much, I've been through some good Guilds and I still PUG for the most part to farm gears. Guilds just can't accomodate you, and most Guildies won't even run with you when you're undergeared in the first place. In fact I've even tried to join one of the top tier PVE guilds once. It is on my first and still only char and I was grinding for my gears, I was wearing all purple's at that time, full Skulker's and all Ancient Jewelry, but couldn't afford a Purple shirt and pants just yet and was grinding for it. Know what they told me.. "You're still wearing your level 1 shirt and pants its embarassing." take it from someone who worked their way up with little to no help..

That still sounds to me like bad, rotten, snotty guilds. To me, "good guild" doesn't mean that they are the very best at speedrunning due to their leetness, but that they are decent and helpful people.

That said, there's no reason to keep wearing the shirt and pants you washed up on the beach in. Shirt and pants quality does not go grey -> purple. There are green and blue ones you can wear as a stopgap. If you haven't levelled your own armour crafting, you can buy ones somebody else crafted quite inexpensively. The best budget option in my opinion is level 55 "Trickster's Elegant", which are a good compromise between cost and performance. If you feel that's too much, then go with "Fancy Leather", which is at least level-appropriate until you can afford the purple gemmed ones.

Doesn't excuse refusing to run with you though. Somebody could have troubled themselves to explain this.

Old thread, stick on topic of the OP.

@beckylunatic: I stuck with the Shirt and Pants I washed up in because I saved up my AD skipping the stuff I'd dump getting the T2 PVP gear and going straight to endgame gear from there, I did quite well in doing so and didn't really sacrifice all that much performance either (Shirts and Pants add a negligible amount of stat points anyway til you actually reach end-game), as the men above say its more about skill. I'd suggest this for other newbies as well, it saves them a ton specially now that AD isn't as easy to come by as before.

In-game it is what it is gear elitists, ******bags and all that, is all I'm saying, don't really care every game has those, there are good people out there too of course but much much fewer to compare. =p
