None of the other classes are going to be happy until the rogue is completely nerfed into uselessness.
You all wanna take away attacking from stealth but want them to keep their damage output. If you didn't know while a rogue is stealthed their damage output is increased. If you get rid of the ability to attack from stealth you are extremly nerfing them, not just a little but a lot. You would then have to increase the damage they do while out of stealth and give them more defense because as it currently is, a rogue out of stealth is usually a dead rogue. Stealth attack is the rogues only real means of dealing damage.
But that would require completely reworking the rogue class. If they were to just make it so rogues couldn't attack from stealth it would cripple the class completely unless they reworked how they do damage. That would mean completely over-hauling the class.
None of the other classes are going to be happy until the rogue is completely nerfed into uselessness.

CWs are a RANGED class. What you want them to get in melee range where they already die in one rotation from every class in game except Clerics? They are pathetically soft as hell. Rogues are not that sift and have both effective melee AND ranged attacks. You're point is moot. If CWs had high survivability like say a GF, then you could talk but they don't. It's not anyone's fault but your own if you are trying to take a node while a CW stays at range, nuking you. Any class in game can shut a CW down in a second but the problem is CWs have to stay in the back and behind the melee classes where they are largely ignored.

1) and 2) Here is a tip... increase your view range. TRs actually kinda become quite visible when you get near them or they get near you. See a transparent TR coming to you... just dodge and run? Or in my case, dodge and disable.
3) Mmm... I usually dodge out of range when I get hit the 1st time. Not really an issue to me.

CW has triple dodge skill, which is more then sufficient to safe your behind. CW has sufficient disable skills to keep melees at a comfortable hitting range. CW has debuffs which everyone seemed to hate so much that it was nerfed, and even so people still hate it. I invest less then $50 and yet I don't find myself having any issues in pvp. Perhaps the problem is not the classes but rather it's you?

On the contrary, if you observe carefully, there are several posts made by GFs and GWFs whining about how useless their class is. There's a couple of post about CW being too soft and useless. Posts about priests being utterly un-needed in PVP because their class is broken. There's a post about how TR skills can be dodge easily making them target practice. I got every class at 60 with t2 gear (except GWF) and CW for sure is the strongest out of those 4 in PvP. You are complaining about permanent stun lock while doing the same at a range where most ppl can't even do sth?
EF, ray, chill strike + some autohits and high range at most of them are dead almost..repel if 1 or more gets close. 3 dodges which is more then any other classes due to 30% stamina usage instead of 50%. And even if your enemy isn't dead after 1 combo, kite them for like 3s and all the skills are up again.. beside CW got the 2nd strongest daily.

If I am constantly killed which I rarely am, I find out what went wrong and find a solution/tactic to overcome it with my constant PVP partner.

This thread starter is saying TR, GF and GWFs are overpowered, other posters on the other hand are saying GF, GWF, and (surprisingly) TR are underpowered. So which is correct??? Whiners are whiners when they merely complain without giving detailed verifiable data to justify their complaints. Developers want people/players who can give solutions to accompany their brought up problems... not merely giving complaints to everything under the sun which any 5 year old can do. In addition to that, Players who defend a class if you observe carefully, more often then not gives workable and tested solution to the problem the complainer is having.
As for your question, I have actually played all classes in PVE and PVP environment, but I especially love my CW. Still working on improving my DC pvp part...

Oh, don't worry. I'm in a PVP guild and it's very rare that we lose. We actually won the match yesterday, but I didn't rank in my usual top three.
I've also met a handful of good CW who know how to deal with stealth rogues. Much harder for them, because they have to get in the first hit, and I'm usually in stealth before that. It was probably a week ago? Very good CW. Most of the time they're downed quickly.
Adding some CC immunity after a few KDs would that help? If ppl played warhammer online then u know what im talking about. Balancing the class aswell by removing some of the armor reduction in some attacks,or make heavy armor abit tougher against physical attacks...Im new in this game and havent tried lvl 60 pvp. I did quit my rogue at 30 though because i didnt like the balance,not much of challenge. Guess im abit stupid because i rerolled a GWF but i really enjoy it hehe. But once again im new here and feel free to tell me how wrong i am about what i just wrote. I havent tried lvl 60 pvp yet as i said=)

Dude from what I'm seeing in this thread.. And I may be wrong but you're a Control Wizard that used to be OP but isn't anymore? Either way a simple solution to CWs are to lower their damage output. Why? Because its a "Control" Wizard not a "Damage" Wizard. In my mind that's the biggest mistakes the devs made in giving CW so much damage output. Lower damage/increase CC times. Nuff said.
As for Rogues, I'm one, and I do think the attack in stealth is a bit unfair. So why don't the devs make it so that in stealth at-wills aren't usable but in exchange have the "stealth effect" last longer. What I mean is if the ability causes the person to be dazed for 3 seconds normally now they're dazed for 6 seconds in stealth (with damage being the same as out of stealth). In all honesty TRs are the second biggest mistake the devs made. "Trickster" Rogue not "Killer" Rogue. Another support class who's role is to keep the opposition off balance. GWF is supposed to be the only real DPS class and GF is the supposed to be the only real Tank class and DC is fine as they are (I met DCs that I couldn't kill before so if they can do it, then everyone can do it "Learn to play your toon").
With that being said PvP scoring is also a BIG mistake. You see GFs or GWFs or even DCs trying to sneak cap. Other times everybody just runs around to cap because its +300. Its stupid man. Have something that each class NEEDS to do in order to get the +300. For instance GF is a tank right? Give him +300 for staying on a node in his team's possession for X seconds (because it means he was actually doing his job DEFENDING the node). Give a DC +300 for reviving someone because that's their job to keep people ALIVE. Give GWFs +300 (so GWFs can possible get 400) for each kill and give CWs +300 for each assist and give TRs +300 for each cap. There you have a PvP system with depth! Pay me! Because I just gave you something that will make your game so much better!
Pretty much this. If a GWF isn't beating you as another class, they are bad.
CC immunity on short cooldown that also gives a ward, high burst damage in a knockdown combo, super easy retreats. They are definitely the OP class of the month, while Clerics got nerfed to HAMSTER. The other 3 are all on par and can kill each other depending on who gets the jump on the others.
At the moment its GWF > Everyone else except cleric > Cleric.
I have all classes at 60, and don't bother playing cleric. Its just not fun. To be honest, all damage needs to be reduced. Its just too high, fights are over in a matter of seconds. At the moment its just - did you get the jump on the other person? Congrats! You won at PvP! Oh it was a GWF? My condolences. Oh you play a DC? Sucks to be you.

It's clear you don't know other classes abilities. This is so not true, I specced my 60 GF for PVP, went for all the knockbacks, prones, stuns etc. I time them to keep you down as long as possible usually, and when I have used them all.....I have ZERO abilities up. This idea that they are back up before you can get up is flat out ignorance. I tend to then go into guard mode and wait for my abilities to come back up. In other words L2P. Learn how other classes actually work, know thy enemy then maybe you will figure out how to beat them. But I doubt it. You don't seem to want to take that time and just whine.

The problem being that "Control" Wizards actually have the worst CC in the game when it comes to PvP. The only people they can even "Control" are other CWs and DCs. GF can easily block CC. GWF is immune with constant unstoppable. TRs just use impossible to catch and kill CWs in seconds. If you catch someone off guard what do you have? A 2 second choke? A ****ty pushback? Awesome.
GF and GWF on the other hand have knockdown combos that will take you from 100% to 0% health in seconds and TRs have the best CC in the game with smoke screen which has a stupidly long duration.
That's why CW needs to be about ranged DPS. They are glass cannons. Everyone except cleric is immune to CC anyway, so why bother focusing on it? If they removed those immunities and reduced everyone elses CC, then sure. Make CW the CC class. Until then, don't bother.

You all wanna take away attacking from stealth but want them to keep their damage output. If you didn't know while a rogue is stealthed their damage output is increased. If you get rid of the ability to attack from stealth you are extremly nerfing them, not just a little but a lot. You would then have to increase the damage they do while out of stealth and give them more defense because as it currently is, a rogue out of stealth is usually a dead rogue. Stealth attack is the rogues only real means of dealing damage.
But that would require completely reworking the rogue class. If they were to just make it so rogues couldn't attack from stealth it would cripple the class completely unless they reworked how they do damage. That would mean completely over-hauling the class.
And Rogues are never satisfied till they can face roll any class in game by merit of the class mechanics alone when skill won't even be required.
Read again. I never said rogues shouldn't be able to attack from stealth. I said having a hard hitting ranged attack for a melee class that never, never comes out of stealth while using it is stupid. Do you hobestly think people should never be able to respond to that? Never be able to react to it? Really?
Let me know the next time you're in game and we will queue up together. That way I can play with a dummy as you suggested.
There are ways of reacting to it, do you want me to push the buttons for you? All you are really complaining about is that you are mad you can't see the rogue at all. It happens in every game where there is a stealth character who can sneak up on a target. They cry about it until the devs remove the stealth ability.
Some players know ways of tracking, finding rogues even while stealthed. The fact that you want it handed to you because you lack the skills to be able to track and find stealthed rogues just shows you want the devs to solve your problem for you instead of learn how to play.
Learn how to PVP, please. I have a stealth-based TR who got owned yesterday in PVP by a GWF. How? He knew how to combat stealth-type rogues, found me by AOEs and getting close, and trapped me into a pattern of KD and stun-lock.

CWs are a RANGED class. What you want them to get in melee range where they already die in one rotation from every class in game except Clerics? They are pathetically soft as hell. Rogues are not that sift and have both effective melee AND ranged attacks. You're point is moot. If CWs had high survivability like say a GF, then you could talk but they don't. It's not anyone's fault but your own if you are trying to take a node while a CW stays at range, nuking you. Any class in game can shut a CW down in a second but the problem is CWs have to stay in the back and behind the melee classes where they are largely ignored.

No sir. The only people that lack skill are Rogue players. You require stealth, the hugest dos in game and escape mechanics in order to even be competitive. You lack skill sir, that's why you play this cheap class. Rogue players are always the ones in bgs that when they get steam rolled by two or more players start spamming in zone chat that they want to 1v1 anyone on the other team. Lol!! They need to stroke thier epeen knowing that by merit if the class alone they have a goud chance of winning. Give me a break.
Then why is it that others have found ways of not only handling 1v1 stealthed rogues but have successful ways of defeating them and not crying about it? Lack skill? So you want these lack of skill players to be at a disadvantage so that you can easily kill them? Is that what you are saying. Because to me that sounds more like you lack the skill and need other classes to be at a disadvantage for you to be successful.
1) and 2) Here is a tip... increase your view range. TRs actually kinda become quite visible when you get near them or they get near you. See a transparent TR coming to you... just dodge and run? Or in my case, dodge and disable.
3) Mmm... I usually dodge out of range when I get hit the 1st time. Not really an issue to me.
4) and 5) It's a team game... you would be rather stupid to 1v1 a GF... so far in PVP, my usual pvp partner and myself take great pleasure pushing around a GF.
6) Observe the word "temporary". How about you disable that offending GWF and move away while waiting for his health buff to run it's course???
Instead of whining about how awesome the other class is.... why don't you learn how to properly play a CW which I assume is your class since it was not included in the list. CW has triple dodge skill, which is more then sufficient to safe your behind. CW has sufficient disable skills to keep melees at a comfortable hitting range. CW has debuffs which everyone seemed to hate so much that it was nerfed, and even so people still hate it. I invest less then $50 and yet I don't find myself having any issues in pvp. Perhaps the problem is not the classes but rather it's you?
Clearly its not just him as there are a lot of posts with the same issues... the PvP needs working on asap as its boring and not fun unless your one of these classes getting there kicks out of annihilating people with little or no defense!
On the contrary, if you observe carefully, there are several posts made by GFs and GWFs whining about how useless their class is. There's a couple of post about CW being too soft and useless. Posts about priests being utterly un-needed in PVP because their class is broken. There's a post about how TR skills can be dodge easily making them target practice. Issues as you can see vary according to who is doing the whining. Each time there is a whining post about certain class being overpowered, there's almost always a poster giving solutions on how to counter the problem.
This guy however takes it to the next level by claiming TR, GF and GWFs are overpowered-ly imbalanced which is quite contrary to the above mentioned posts by other players don't you think so???? When you have posts much alike the one made by thread starter, it is obvious we are dealing with a whiner who feels he/she/it need to win other class all the time for him/her/it to "interest" in playing NWO.
The fun about PVP is not winning the fight... but rather discovering ways to overcome your opponent. It's satisfying to me for instance, when I kill a perma-stealth TR using CoS on me despite the fact my team is loosing.
And if you are constantly killed would it be so much fun for you then? He and all other posters have fair points the PvP in this game is in a mess period and the only classes defending it are the ones that are OP the ones trying to bring some light on the subject for Cryptics attention are the ones on the receiving end of this mess.

I got every class at 60 with t2 gear (except GWF) and CW for sure is the strongest out of those 4 in PvP. You are complaining about permanent stun lock while doing the same at a range where most ppl can't even do sth?
EF, ray, chill strike + some autohits and high range at most of them are dead almost..repel if 1 or more gets close. 3 dodges which is more then any other classes due to 30% stamina usage instead of 50%. And even if your enemy isn't dead after 1 combo, kite them for like 3s and all the skills are up again.. beside CW got the 2nd strongest daily.

It's kind of funny that one guy playing the most broken class, is crying about rogues being op..
It's not like he has way too many dodges, way too much damage output for being *control* and way too much range (yes, shooting all across the map *is* too much range).
The skillcap for CWs is so low, that reading threads like this almost make me cry..
If I am constantly killed which I rarely am, I find out what went wrong and find a solution/tactic to overcome it with my constant PVP partner.
He (thread-maker) and the other posters if you put them in the same group are actually contradicting each other. This thread starter is saying TR, GF and GWFs are overpowered, other posters on the other hand are saying GF, GWF, and (surprisingly) TR are underpowered. So which is correct??? Overpowered or underpowered??? Need buff or need nerf??? What then is Cryptic suppose to do??? Do you see what I am trying to tell you???
Whiners are whiners when they merely complain without giving detailed verifiable data to justify their complaints. Developers want people/players who can give solutions to accompany their brought up problems... not merely giving complaints to everything under the sun which any 5 year old can do. In addition to that, Players who defend a class if you observe carefully, more often then not gives workable and tested solution to the problem the complainer is having.
As for your question, I have actually played all classes in PVE and PVP environment, but I especially love my CW. Still working on improving my DC pvp part...
Oh, don't worry. I'm in a PVP guild and it's very rare that we lose. We actually won the match yesterday, but I didn't rank in my usual top three.
I've also met a handful of good CW who know how to deal with stealth rogues. Much harder for them, because they have to get in the first hit, and I'm usually in stealth before that. It was probably a week ago? Very good CW. Most of the time they're downed quickly.
Anyway, what were you whining about?

As for Rogues, I'm one, and I do think the attack in stealth is a bit unfair. So why don't the devs make it so that in stealth at-wills aren't usable but in exchange have the "stealth effect" last longer. What I mean is if the ability causes the person to be dazed for 3 seconds normally now they're dazed for 6 seconds in stealth (with damage being the same as out of stealth). In all honesty TRs are the second biggest mistake the devs made. "Trickster" Rogue not "Killer" Rogue. Another support class who's role is to keep the opposition off balance. GWF is supposed to be the only real DPS class and GF is the supposed to be the only real Tank class and DC is fine as they are (I met DCs that I couldn't kill before so if they can do it, then everyone can do it "Learn to play your toon").
With that being said PvP scoring is also a BIG mistake. You see GFs or GWFs or even DCs trying to sneak cap. Other times everybody just runs around to cap because its +300. Its stupid man. Have something that each class NEEDS to do in order to get the +300. For instance GF is a tank right? Give him +300 for staying on a node in his team's possession for X seconds (because it means he was actually doing his job DEFENDING the node). Give a DC +300 for reviving someone because that's their job to keep people ALIVE. Give GWFs +300 (so GWFs can possible get 400) for each kill and give CWs +300 for each assist and give TRs +300 for each cap. There you have a PvP system with depth! Pay me! Because I just gave you something that will make your game so much better!
Pretty much this. If a GWF isn't beating you as another class, they are bad.
CC immunity on short cooldown that also gives a ward, high burst damage in a knockdown combo, super easy retreats. They are definitely the OP class of the month, while Clerics got nerfed to HAMSTER. The other 3 are all on par and can kill each other depending on who gets the jump on the others.
At the moment its GWF > Everyone else except cleric > Cleric.
I have all classes at 60, and don't bother playing cleric. Its just not fun. To be honest, all damage needs to be reduced. Its just too high, fights are over in a matter of seconds. At the moment its just - did you get the jump on the other person? Congrats! You won at PvP! Oh it was a GWF? My condolences. Oh you play a DC? Sucks to be you.
It's clear you don't know other classes abilities. This is so not true, I specced my 60 GF for PVP, went for all the knockbacks, prones, stuns etc. I time them to keep you down as long as possible usually, and when I have used them all.....I have ZERO abilities up. This idea that they are back up before you can get up is flat out ignorance. I tend to then go into guard mode and wait for my abilities to come back up. In other words L2P. Learn how other classes actually work, know thy enemy then maybe you will figure out how to beat them. But I doubt it. You don't seem to want to take that time and just whine.
The problem being that "Control" Wizards actually have the worst CC in the game when it comes to PvP. The only people they can even "Control" are other CWs and DCs. GF can easily block CC. GWF is immune with constant unstoppable. TRs just use impossible to catch and kill CWs in seconds. If you catch someone off guard what do you have? A 2 second choke? A ****ty pushback? Awesome.
GF and GWF on the other hand have knockdown combos that will take you from 100% to 0% health in seconds and TRs have the best CC in the game with smoke screen which has a stupidly long duration.
That's why CW needs to be about ranged DPS. They are glass cannons. Everyone except cleric is immune to CC anyway, so why bother focusing on it? If they removed those immunities and reduced everyone elses CC, then sure. Make CW the CC class. Until then, don't bother.
You are timing your skills badly then. I have a GF and can keep someone knocked down indefinitely while I kill them 1 vs 1.
