Greetings,
Many people want more classes, and i agree:)
Somewhere i read that they aim to add in total 18 classes and they will start with Ranger.

The game is following the 4th edition of D&D and thats why i will post a link, that explain who are the classes of that edition and how they work.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Character_class_%28Dungeons_%26_Dragons%29

If you click to the a class name it will give you more infos and you will see also the specialisations of each class.

For example: Rogue(Assassin,Trickster Rogue etc etc)

After you finish reading, post what classes you want to see in game in the future:)

Blackguard. Or at least paladin with blackguard as a paragon path.

PWE, you give me this and I will love you long time.

Enough with the paladin requests...GF has self heals (3+ if im not mistaken)...What is a paladin? Basically a tank with heals, some may consider them a tank with holy attacks as well...Honestly though if they added one it would be so similar to a GF I dont see the point.

I'd like to see a Bard or Druid. We could use a second healer class, seeing how a lot of content requires one, and It just seems better then saying " need 2X clerics for X run"...

Id like to see an actual rogue, as opposed to the Psionesque teleporty rogue we got.
Id like to see a Fireball tossing wizard

Id love to see Druid, Monk, Psionisist, Artificer, or Bard
(i'm constantly seeing other classes with RPed as markers for these)

and to the guy below me Gel. Cube would be a race, Pet, or dessert speaking of which Mindflayer as a pet or race would be cool.

Either Deceptive Warlock because it totally sounds like my playstyle 100%.

Or another Healer, preferrably one that isn't boring as hell like Cleric.

    Sacred fist.

they would have to add monk first. and make it so you have to be a monk or a cleric your first 10 levels ( so divine based first, or martial based). They could be off heals, and DPS or even maybe an off tank.

Standard list, paladin, ranger, bard and druid.

I'd also like to see a character class DWing swords. Maybe that as the warlord? I dunno, never played any D&D.

For paladin I think it would be really neat if instead of making them a tank or a healer they made them a strong buff/control class. So all about inspiring the group and demotivating enemies, high charisma and probably single target melee damage. Ideal for Paladin would come from Cyptic's first game - City of Heroes - if you all knew how awesome a Rad/Rad defender could be ... yeah. That's what I want for a Paladin.

If they added legit NWN content and figured out how to add in multiclassing, I'd go subscription based for this game easily.

This game has so very much potential, I really hope they don't **** it up.

Ranger first, the only ranged class is CW atm and is not a "classic" mage.

Then another healer or semi-healer (paladin? why the hell there is that "nonsense" GWF when they could have done paladin with the melee paragon path, and keep it open to a heal path?), or bard who can heal/buff.

Druid is a great class, but isn't the easier class to create by devs.
Monk and Warlock are nice too, but not a priority, we already have similar class.

    A summoner can be good.

I'm really tired of people getting it wrong.
Druids in 4th ed are melee contolers who shape change their asses off. Druids do not heal in 4th ed. Monks use the psionic power source. True multi-classing in 4th ed is actually called Hybriding where you level 2 classes at the same time.

No no no no no. Character class. Not the person sitting at the PC :p
Roo. Cleric. Mad as a bag of badgers, will heal for beer.

    Ancient Shadows: Mature. Sensible. Custard.

Bard, Druid, Vampire.... That's all I want at this point. Cleric, Rogue, and probably Warlock/Ranger when they're released already make me happy as is.

I think most of us crying for Druids, despite 4th Edition, want the 3/3.5 that many of us became accustomed to in BG, Icewind Dale, Neverwinter Nights, etc. 4th Edition druids do have the option of being Leaders though..

Archer Ranger (coming module 1 hopefully), War Wizard (Defensive Staff and focusing on DPS - fireball and the like), Inspiring Warlord, Barbarian (Any I think all barbarian builds are DPS).

Mind you, probably we get classes/builds that exist on d&d 4th edition, so no point suggesting wild builds/classes that dont already are part of 4th D&D.
    Some are available here: http://www.wizards.com/d20/files/4E_SRD.pdf
Notice we already got the two fighter builds, so probably we going to see battle cleric, brawny rogue and war wizard at least.

One of the Monk builds would be nice, as would an Avenger.

But honestly, once they've got Archer Ranger, between that and Guardian Fighter I'm pretty much covered; the rest is just variety.

Honestly, with the dumbing down of the system this game has done (which is quite impressive considering how dumbed down 4E already is) it will be impossible to make any distinct classes at all.

Hell, all the classes even have the same base HP, which is just mind boggling.

I'd like to see the "Corpse" class released.

I could hang out by the auctioneer and RP with all the afk folk. :)
