Whoa! I didn't know my location was showing up! Anyway, you come from Olongapo? It's such a small world! Marunong ka pa bang mag-Tagalog?

Zaelius is just so cute (in a creepy kind of way)! And I get the feeling with him that I could say anything and he'd just be amused. I could see how that'd be a big problem in the long run, but it's kinda fun for now. You know what they say: it's hard to resist a man who thinks you're irresistible!

I think I'd be a little weirded out if I was a straight guy, though. Just curious, what are guys' reactions to him? Have you gotten any messages about that?

Poor Mharuut indeed. Half-orcs don't get much love. Maybe if I see more of his personality, I'd grow to like him better. He seems like a good guy. I mean, he gave me all these altar-building materials!

Also, I just saw your screenshot and I really, really hate you now! What are you, some kind of crazy foundry genius?! How do you get these ideas, girl? I can't wait to play this!

Oh jeez, that didn't even register with me first time round (plus it's Zaelius, man. I'm straight and even I'm a little attracted to him!) I don't imagine she'll get many of those messages though, tis not like the foundry can purposely recognise the main character's gender (yet...), and I think that's quite obvious even to someone who has little experience with the foundry.

Those screenshots *drools* I'm going to have to kidnap someone around here and set them to work on designing my levels for me, I just don't have the patience for it.

I'm glad you got something good out of that playthrough! My little quest was broken in so many ways when you streamed it.

I haven't had a chance to play through episode 1 again to see if you changed the transition quest objectives, and I unfortunately don't recall which ones stated "Go to next map." I've been really busy for most of last week, so didn't get to mess with Neverwinter or the forums for a bit.

You set a pretty high bar for the rest of us. Looking forward to Our Lady of Silver and Shadow! The screenshots look great!

Ah, I do not know Tagalog! Wah!!! I actually haven't gotten any messages about guys being weirded out by Zaelius' behavior. Maybe they're accepting he's some weird, alien-elf guy?! :-) Eeeeeeeeep!!!! No kidnapping!!!! I was working on a few rooms last night and started with Neiyu's. Hmm, maybe 45 min on that room? Your character is looking sweet in that field of flowers! !

I just took him as being from such a dramatically different culture than my character's. What would be considered polite, rude, or uncomfortable in my culture is just not the case for him.

My take on it, at least.

Actually I was more curious about Neiyu's awkwardness towards my female cleric. Zaelius felt for me quite normal. Maybe it's because I never play male characters in online games

I actually had to start Gartastok over on a bigger/more elevation-varied map! I guess I will have to post screenies of my progress to appease the masses. ;D

This is very entertaining quest. Also, I see one Dragon Age inspiration in Aiden.
My only gripe were mobs using knock backs on those bridges. They aren't really dangerous and overall are pretty whimpy encounters, but have annoying habit of knocking player off bridges, thus making necessary running back to the combat. Personally, if budged allows, I'd simply surround bridges with invisble walls, thus making falling of them impossible (especially since those aren't jumping puzzle sequences, just combat encounters).

I didn't do any republishing while the bug was going on. I tried to look up my own quest as well, and I'm getting nothing. So I'm guessing the Cryptic wide republishing just hasn't gotten around doing my quest ^^ or bugged it. Hah.

Version 1.05 Updates/Fixes

-Sound and music established in all zones!
-"Bandaging Dragoons" has been changed to "Fill Dragoons with Battle Spirit!" (Sorry, no more exploding bandages!):cool:
-Zaelius' red portal at the Void Elf settlement is now outside the building.
-Aiden and Neiyu are no longer mysteriously missing-in-action during the Altar quest, and have decided to hang out at the Void Elf settlement.
-"New Base of Operations" has been changed to "Speak to Neiyu"
-Ossian has decided to speak better English.
-The mysterious knock-back creatures on Laocoon Bridge have been terminated...again!
-Zaelius is a little less long-winded about Terra.

Like many of you, I am itching to get back to some Foundry work. In Episode 2, I'd like to announce that there will be 6 ways to complete the quest. This is because our friendly company of Tormir Dragoons, Void Elves, and Harpers (oh, and Miss Terra!) are being split into 6 different squads to go down 6 different paths in Gartastok! While I'm still figuring out the teams, might you have an idea for a fun or interesting team combination? :cool: Would you like to see Terra on a team with either Zaelius or Neiyu? Wanting to know more about the dysfunctional Harper team you encountered in the Crystal Valley - why do they look up to that guy Aiden anyway? How would the serious Mharuut fare on a team with a dancing tiefling?


It will be a significantly shorter quest than Episode 1, but I'm planning for it to have some replay value. You will pick a single team and stick with that team throughout Gartastok. You will only experience that team's "story" and must play again to pick another story path! And, of course, there will be the more consequential romance options (and....new romanceable characters :cool:)!!!


Just to tease the Zaelius fans. I'm just kidding guys. He's not evil!............... Or is he......... o,O Huehuehuehue!!~!~!

Hello, guys! Work has been slow with the Foundry outages (and AAR beta on weekends - WOO!). I just wanted to share some screenies of my work in progress. I'm currently making some finishing touches on my underwater cave.
