I have not yet had a problem with people dropping.
Heck, I have not yet in a dungeon run had a problem with ninja looters. Skirmishes yes, but not dungeons.
Might change as I get into higher levels, but help is (possibly) on the way.
While an annoyance more than any major problem, for example, they are reviewing their looting system.
I agree that it is a simple matter to identify a ninja and then just tell everyone to need everything, but a fix would still be welcome.
The adds are a thing even beyond dungeons. I can be playing a solo instance and if a lot of adds show up and my character gets defeated, those adds remain.
When a boss leaves a combat state, they should reset the room to 'normal'. Boss at full health, whatever lesser minions all respawn/reset, and all adds beyond those should despawn.
If the boss was defeated, though, then the adds should remain. It shouldn't be that difficult to deal with just the leftovers once the boss is defeated.
Some of the other stuff? Mising a campfire and sending your further back, or chests not spawning, you just need to keep reporting this stuff when it happens.
If players think that they do not need to file a ticket then it may look like a minor issue to the people that would be responsible for fixing it, and it gets knocked down the priority list.
File those tickets (or send those e-mails to customer service, as the case may be) with all of the details that you can think of.
I am convinced that they did not intend on producing a product that doesn't work right, but they need our help to make everything work like it should.
Hope to see more cool stories from you in the future.
New & exciting things keep me going!
Your name suits you juuuust fine m8. Juuuust fine.
On a more serious note, ignoring people with primitive IQ, this thread highlights many problems this game has. We DO need 10000000 threads like this one. It's the only hope I have that Cryptic will notice the problem anytime soon...
OP's post is not a valid post because it's just a copy of 73625 other posts.
I could say the same about your "cool story bro" posts or your first post in this thread. It's not valid because it's a copy of tons of others, or just a useless post. Contribute to the discussion, or don't post.
No, actually. I don't have room in inventory to pick up every piece of trash that goes up for roll. But I'm not so selfish as to assume that when I do roll on something that it's somehow "meant" for me just because I'm playing a character for whom the item is not tinted red. High roll wins, full stop.
That is totally against etiquette and makes you part of the problem.

I don't think you comprehended what I wrote. "That is totally against etiquette"? What is "that"? And can you tell me where the idea of etiquette came from? This game has instilled certain behaviors in its community from day one. If you think "etiquette" is a behavior different from the norm, it's no wonder you spend so much time being upset with other players.
MOST players DO hold to etiquette, which is just polite and commonsense human behavior. I've been playing MMOs since before they were even called MMOs, and there are certain "rules" of etiquette that have evolved over time. NOT rolling NEED is one of those. If it isn't for your class, but is a class item, you roll GREED. Everything else, roll how you like.
Why do you think there are so many threads about ninja looters? Because they are considered to be jerks who do not belong in a team because they are not team players. Of the last 4 dungeons I have done in the past 2 days there were 2 out of 20 players who rolled NEED on items that were not their class. That's 2 out of 20. That means the majority were team players. So, not sure you comprehend how to get along with your fellow members with your attitude.

...except I'm a "team player" by your definition. You missed how I don't roll need on stuff I can't use but don't get upset when other people do.
You people make too big a stink over "ninja looting" as though it's a thing. Everyone who hits "Shift-1" gets an equal chance at the loot. Wipe those tears and roll higher numbers. If you don't win, you don't win. The winner's class really doesn't matter; you're just hypnotized by self-exceptionalism.
Its hilarious when the same guy in the group who is the one winning stuff his class cant use through liberal application of the NEED button, is complaining about everyone elses gear scores and talking about how if everyone else were geared the dungeon would be over already. When I point out if people would allow players who would actually get a gear upgrade to win the item that drops for their class, that this gear score issue wouldnt exist, is when the real interesting part of the conversation happens. The part where they attempt to waffle back and forth looking for a way to play both sides of the argument, but cant do so knowing full well that their card will just get pulled regardless of which side they attempt to play.
Right away, one member at random just drops, so you wait ten minutes for a replacement.
Things are going fine, down the first boss. CW ninjas TR loot- too late to get rid of anyone now though, and chances are you'll just get another ninja- so fine, when CW loots, you know to roll need.
Kill second boss despite about 40 adds being up, but the adds wipe you after the boss is dead.
Game decides to ignore the second campfire, so all the way back to the start of the dungeon you go. Get back- there's no loot. Second boss loot- bye bye.
Final boss- wipe while trying to figure out a good strategy. Next try, all the mobs are still spawned- wipe again.
Ninja leaves, and it just so happens that someone decided it would be brilliant to make a game where you cannot get a replacement if someone drops- it's only been a standard feature of mmos for a decade- why include it?
Decide to keep trying anyway- manage through sheer willpower and determination to get through boss- DD chest decides not to spawn even though you started during the dungeon hour, and daily quest decides not to finish.
Y'know, I'm used to bugs at launch, that happens. What I'm not used to is being spammed with back to back bugs, every single time I do a dungeon.
Now, the loot system being a ninja's wet dream isn't a bug, it's a design choice to make it so you're guaranteed to hate almost everyone you group with, and to make sure that guildless players have a very hard time levelling up- and, hopefully, pay real money to get AD, to then buy the gear. I understand that, that's a business decision, that's not going to change- fair enough.
But getting sent to the dungeon's start, not being able to pick a replacement, vanishing loot, adds that don't unspawn, dailies that don't finish and chests that can't be opened- what the **** is going on here? This has been going on all month, and there's not even a hint of a fix? I'd report a bug on the lost loot- but my bug report button isn't working.
Take a moment to ponder just how absurd that last part is.
You forgot to add the fact that you will be using that AD to buy the loot the ninja put up on the AH anyway

Usually average dungeon run is: run run run, pull all mobs and knoc down with CW. Or... run run pull all mobs and go to next camp fire, skipp all.
I have found a trick that so far has worked for me in getting people to stop "needing" stuff they don't actually need. Now I have some additional leverage as I almost always play with my wife, so there's two of us.
If somebody rolls need on an item they don't I will tell them that if they do that again, or don't give me an item that is usable by me, when nobody else can, we will both leave immediately, thus making sure the group can't continue. You have to be willing to carry through with the threat though. IT doesn't always work, and of course won't work if they Ninja the last boss, but I've gotten several people to stop needing, and have gotten a couple to cough up the stuff they've taken. It's blackmail sure, but if they play dirty so do I.
If you all actually read the latest update the Devs gave information on current issues and what there working towards on fixing for the release of the full version of the game. Apparently you have not partaken in a game that is still in beta.
It seems that buggy game has bugged fanboiz and bugged trolls. They stuck at same sentence. @OP. Just relax. It is a game from PWE. They are publishers, they decide what it's going to be like.

A quote from the state of the game linked to by the fanboi above...
First, I want to say we’ve all been tremendously pleased with the positive feedback and constant support we’ve received from our players throughout Open Beta.
Bug tickets and feedback channels are not working, and anyone reading these forums can see the feedback is less than 'stellar'. So I have to ask...
What feedback are they referring to?
Only two things in this life are infinite. The universe and human stupidity, and I'm not so sure about the former. ~ Albert Einstein
The issues outlined above are the reason i refuse to spend a single penny on this game. Fix those issues and you will get my money. You dont invite a painter over to paint your house and when the job is half done he says okay, im going home, im finished, where is my check? No, you do the job, and if it customer is approved and satisfied at the job you did THEN you get paid. It's how every business should be run. Nowadays its backwards with companies wanting money and to heck with the customer being satisfied. But to be fair this is due in part to shoddy companies and shoddy customers (people who take advantage of a well meaning company).
In THIS situation though, definitely the company needs to step up their game and the customers need to stop spending money on this game until they make the bugs being fixed a priority. You all need to stop whining about no end game content also. They probably rushed this game because they needed the money and the community was hyping it all up. You didn't know what you got until it was delivered and now that you see the steaming pile of bugs it has now you want to whine. Make up your mind, get a company to hurry content along without proper testing or implementation and deal with the bugs and them fixing them when they can or let companies take their time on a title and do it right.
Since the latter didn't happen we need to do two things, (1.) stop spending money on the cash shop, and (2.) be patient and understanding as they apply fixes to bugs. IMHO they should have never let anyone spend any money on a game that's still in beta. Just because Mojang allowed it in Minecraft (completely different type of game) doesn't mean it works with an MMORPG. I like how people say "well its in beta but its not in beta.." no the correct answer is, its in beta but they are charging/allowing the spending of money on it. Totally a bad idea. But then again, since everything happens for a reason here is a conspiracy for ya, maybe the beta test isn't the game, its the beta of the "idea" of releasing a game IN beta whilst still allowing micro-transactions WHILE its in beta. Think about it...
There are many good reasons why Cryptic decided to go with a live open beta phase, and quality feedback from the masses are at the helm of those reasons. Rest assured, there is a plan of action, and its currently being coded, and will be in game in a future patch/update. Lead Producer Andy Velasquez discussed this, and much more in his recent announcement here: http://nw.perfectworld.com/news/?p=896631
