Due to the last thread on this topic being closed due to age it was suggested that a new one was made. Personally I do not have a whole lot to contribute to this topic but overall I would like to see the Paladin class added first. Because of my current enjoyment with GF, I feel I would enjoy Paladin even more as it will have a mix of healing and defense. After Paladin I would love to see Warlock and Druid follow it as well.
To be honest I had no idea what a Warlock was until the past couple of days. (I know I'm terrible.) But after I looked into it I noticed how nice it would be for a class choice. Still want Paladin more, or at least for now, who knows maybe it'll change.
I'd love to see Avenger added to the game. Nothing better then a two-handed Striker with holy justice behind them! Think it'll be intresting how they will do Oath Of Enmity. Also exploding out Angelic wings and flying at a target to deal some crazy amounts of damage as the level 1 daily always was the eye opener to me.
After the ones we know are being worked about, I think we need Paladins for sure. Then Bards.
"Participation in PVP-related activities is so low on an hourly, daily, weekly, and monthly basis that we could in fact just completely take it out of STO and it would not impact the overall number of people [who] log in to the game and play in any significant way." -Gozer, Cryptic PvP Dev
Well Necromancer isn't a Warlock in D&D. They are two very different classes.
Warlock is a petless AoE focused class that has poor single target damage that can wear leather armour.
In 4e, there really isn't a Necromancer... So they arn't different classes, Necromancer just doesn't really exist. You can sorta 'build' a necro with a Cleric if I remember correctly... Something like taking Vecna as your god so your channel divinity is based off of him, then picking up rituals to equal out undead rezing and such. Honestly not had a lot of experience with building a necromancer in 4e. I just know there is not specific class that is called the Necromancer in 4e.

Warlocks actually are quite formidable. Capable of going ranged as well as close up and personal. Though they're not the strongest class, they have a lot of flexibility compared to most other classes.
Their power doesn't lie in direct damage though, but more "DoT" like damage. Curses and hampering abilities are their strong suit.
I'd like to see the warlock or ranger being introduced next.

Lets be perfectly clear the trickster is no Assassin, which is the class i would like to see in this game.
or adding a trickster path for assassin idk.
Personally im rolling tank right now i usually dont and trickster doesn't have the flow i really want.

Let me go down the list here of ones that have not been mentioned...*AHEM*
2 Weapon Ranger, Swordmage, Paladin, Druid, Artificer(I know its in the Ebberon campaign but my girlfriend would flip her **** if this was a thing.), Monks, Battlemind, Psions, Assassins, Avengers, Invokers, Wardens, Warlords, Bard, Sorcerer, Shaman, and lastely Seeker.
MAYBE Hybrid/Multi-Classing at some point would be interesting.

Yeah I'm pumped for its release. The Scourge Warlock is considered an "arcane striker," and the Archer Ranger I'm sure will also be a striker as well.
As for answering the OP's question, since the 'lock and ranger are already confirmed, I'll say that I'd like to see a psionic class.

You mentioned mostly sub-classes.
NWO doesnt do sub-classes, it has core classes and paragon.

Sorcerer, warlord, swordmage, and psion. In that order. My longest-running D&D character is Aron Times, Netherese sorcerer, who is accompanied by his cat familiar, Moon. I am saving my sixth character slot for him.
Comments
Drakeos Shadowbow - 60 Combat Pathfinder Hunter Ranger (Alt/retired)
Falados - Drow (Mez) Level 60 Trickster Rogue - Offically retired
Drakeos - Drow (Mez) Scourge Warlock/Druid (retired)
And it will be overpowered as hell.
As with every Necromancer/Warlock in every MMO out there.
''Every other game'' that must be EverQuest II since in EverQuest they rocked.
Bard/Troubadour/Minstrel you name it is always the weakest class in every MMO.

Fighters not limited to one weapon.
Clerics that aren't mages.
Etc.
Not gonna happen because this game doesn't actually have much to do with D&D, but there it is.

My Great Weapon Fighter has had a Sword, Axe, and Mace.
My Cleric isn't a mage, he uses Ranged radiant powers.
Play D&D 4e, Stop QQing.
