To many jerks off who can not read or get simple concepts. Do it yourself. Follow the guides of people who run stacking groups, be bad for all I care. Good luck.

PM me for the copy of guide if not, good luck.

Unlike some of the other posters, I would like to thank you for taking the time and effort to post this. It is always interesting to see more builds.

I'm one of the folks that asked him about his spec after I caught his stream the other night, so I appreciate him making this post. Looks like therepster is pretty mad about it though.

There's now about half a dozen threads over the first two pages from people saying, 'well, im so amazing that everyone is asking my [GWF] spec so I figured I would post it.'

Anyone asking you for your spec won't be reading these forums; anyone reading these forums has seen one of the other 4 or 5 nearly identical builds. No need to be a HAMSTER to someone pointing out the obvious (which you apparently refuse to believe).

As a side note, might want to post GS so someone that watches things on your video can have a baseline of numbers to compare to.

Cause I was the HAMSTER who went to other threads being an *******? GTFO if you do not want to read this. GS is 8317 in video.

If you're a GWF, you should listen to this guy. I don't know what else to say.

I've added your guide to the stickied Master List of Class Builds!. Looks like a solid build! (I really need to level my GWF!)

What do you think of replacing the order of your stats to Power -> Crit -> Recovery -> arp? As we get ARP from the Disciple of War talent?

I dont know what it says when a "DPS build" is really just "add points in the things that give damage". Hope they diversify up the feats a bit, so many of them are shared among classes anyways. Still the guide does nothing for non-max level/geared GWF's, i feel like my main role in pvp so far is pushing people over for a rogue to jump on them and insta-gib them, which is actually kind of funny, and easy, since its been awhile since i saw another GWF.

I've tried this spec, I've respected my GWF 3 times trying every feat tree. The sad thing is the Glass cannon approach spec is the only one that really works. And I don't think it works as well as it should. An Aoe specialist damage dealing character should absolutely floor the damage dealt charts just because of the sheer mass of adds there are in these dungoens. But it doesn't. It comes out only a little ahead of the rogue who deals two or three times more damage to single target mobs than a GWF. the GWF takes the damage lead because they are constantly hitting three or more mobs with every swing. Note that the rogue also adds a lot of CC with his attacks and lowers the parties over all damage taken. While the glass cannon GWF even with damage reduction from unstoppable does not compare.

Really the rogue should only have about 25% more DPS than the Pure damage GWF, and the pure Damage GWF should deal about +25% more total damage dealt than a rogue in a dungeons from the shear trash mobs advantage while still being able to pull threat on adds to protect wizards and clerics so they have a reason to be part of the group.

That would be the goal to meet

Does the Weapon Master Strike is the Reaping Strike?

This is full glass cannon but I still tank adds a lot. In the video look at the cleric. The adds come off him pretty easy. With Unstoppable up it makes use able to take a lot of damage still.

GWF in PvE is fine. In PvP you have some chance at low lvls and with levels it gets worse. I'm lvl 37 atm and in PvP it feels like this: if you see CW - RUN. Rogue with half health? it's fine. Tank? No point. Another GWF? fair fight. That's about it.

Hopefully someone can help clarify my problem.

I just bought a respec coin, and I'm doing my powers. Right now, I have 1 in Reaping strike, Not so far, spinning strike, 0 in mighty leap, and 2 in sure strike, destroyer, and restoring strike. This is a total of 9 points, and I cannot get to the available at 10/15 points skills and/or the the 3rd rank of powers unlocked at 20 points, without taking powers that are not on this guide.

What do I do? Thanks! (I'm level 37 if it matters)

Just take some fill in one. Put a point into every skill or a couple into some to get to next tier if needed

I was thinking to make a pretty identical build for my GWF.
So, I've only one single question: Why do you take "Savage Advance" instead of "Crescendo" ?

Im not expert, but I'll name a few reasons from my own experience :
it reduces cooldowns on attacks with the feat in "Battle Awereness"
"Savage advantage" can do same damage if used in close combat (2 push attacks followed by the 1 charge attack with knockdown)
Function as a combat opener with decent range = charge attack with knockdown

Cause our recovery is so small this would be useless.

A very good TR is the only thing that has out damaged me. Are you using Tenebrous in offensive slots?

I have a question. What does exactly Focused Destroyer feat do? The tolltip is just not enough info for me. "Destroyer now has a 5/10/15/20/25% to grant a stack when hiting any number of targets" - what is stack anyway ;p. Pls enlight me with this :)

I'm having trouble with this build. Because I think my skills have different names. For example on the At Wills, I dont have Weapon Master Strike. I only have Reaping Strike, Wicked Strike, Sure strike. But I don't have Weapon Master Strike. Can anyone help me? I'm a Halfling GWF

Thanks

It is a paragon thing. If you are above level 30 you have it.

Also this should be moved to class forums please. If not I will re-post.
