It was just announced a few days ago that Dr. Who will be returning almost a whole week early, on March 30th! Huzzah!

Yeah, but for a movie. I doubt he'll be the next Doctor in the Season 8 though. They've done this before, introduce a new doctor only for a movie/special. No offense against him though, but I don't like House or his character. Everything else I have seen him in though, which is little, I haven't minded. I just cannot picture him as the next Doctor but will support it if he does the name justice.

However.. this is still speculation. I don't think the Doctor for the next movie, which may not come out for another year or two, has been chosen yet. So, there could quite possibly be a Season 8 before this movie and a whole new Doctor. We just don't know.
