I am Alfruna and I am pretty lame at introductions, but I am happy to have found this community.
It has been awhile since I have really been hooked on a game and am hoping that maybe this will be the one ;-) I played NWN and loved the ability to create my own adventures, but I was never good enough with the coding aspect to really be able to produce the games I would dream up. Looks like maybe the Foundry is a much easier to use tool so I look forward to experimenting with it.
Gaming history:
First played DnD (softcover, boxed sets in the late 70s, under the guidance of family friends who were a bit older than myself and my brother), pretty much regularly played pnp DnD up until the mid 90s.
Started playing the SSI games (like Curse of the Azure Bonds) in college in the early 90s.
First online RPG was the original Neverwinter on AOL in the mid-90s.
Started EQ January 2000 and am still playing.
I have also played (and did beta for some) the following:
Dark Ages of Camelot
WoW
EQ2
LoTRO (still have this active account as well)
Gods & Heroes - Rome Rising
SWG (was too choppy at the time for my machine)
DDO
Istaria (trainwreck of a game)
Dark and Light (another trainwreck)
Chronicles of Spellbourn (not impressed enough to play more than a few days)
Vanguard
Age of Conan
STO (was interesting, but I realized I am more of an epic fantasty type than sci-fi)
SWToR (beta only)
Secret World (beta only, again, realized I am just more into pure fantasy)
Rift (beta only, game was too linear for me, even though the dynamic events were fun)

I hope you enjoy content creation once game is out. The foundry is designed to have less steep learning curve so having stories and ideas is more important than coding and stuff.
I also hope we have a tool which will give DM a very easy and flexible way to reproduce their campaigns like Legos.
You will have a blast creating content with the Foundry here. We have several future Foundry creators in our guild as well that I'm sure would be more then happy to collaborate or lend you a helping hand if need be!

Who was I in which one? ;-) In the original Neverwinter, wow, that was so long ago I can only guess at what the name was - Teine or Avania most likely.
In EQ, I am on Povar as Avania, Tenaciti Tankhealer, Jeltra and several others (NONE even close to max level despite playing for over a decade... as I have said before, end game isn't for me). Splinter was my main in WoW (Earthen Ring). My most recent fave toon in LoTRO is Sapling (Hobbit burgler on Meneldor). Evaesh in DDO (not a very big toon). Evaesh, Sapling, Avania and more in EQ2. I'd have to do some digging to recall the others. ;-)
