    Any idea when we can expect the first show or how frequent the shows will air? I'm not seeing anything on the website but I think I might just be going blind here. Haha.

    Glad to see some interest! I'm working on the format and layout. Just a rough draft at the moment:

    Itinerary:

    I. Intro Song. (Mountain's Mississippi Queen)

    II. Greeting/Introduction

    III. State of the Game, including the latest Closed Beta news.

    IV. Discussion of hottest forum topics.

    V. D&D Improv

    VI. Introducing the Double-M (Memphis Mafia, in honor of rock legend Elvis Presley). We'll be announcing a really cool way to "out" known exploiters. An interesting new way to combat exploiters that are certain to try to imbalance the game, to their favor.

    VII. Mystery Guest! - Stepping out of the 2e/3.5 edition world, and into 4th edition mindset.

    VIII. The DDO invasion. The state of our Neverwinter forum community thusfar.

    IX. Takeout Song. Eric Clapton/Cream "Crossroads"

    If the podcast takes off, I'd consider doing a live broadcast sometime down the road. Even though I have a full program already planned for later this October, there wont be much more to talk about until more game info gets released.

    In other words, it should be an action packed show! Hope ya give us a listen... :)

    I can't comment at the moment, as much as Id really like to, but I promise to have a lot more info for you fine folks, soon.

    I'm shooting for 4th week in October. Maybe a bit sooner or later, lots of producing, editing, waiting for schedules to align, etc.

    No devs yet are lined up. I do have a few surprises though in store...

    Should be a fun show!

    My guess if you do it around the 24th of October it will coincide with the beginning of closed beta (well shortly thereafter) since I think PWI is asking Cryptic to wait till after Raiderz launches so that they can get people to buy the packs they have offered for it (which offer a key for Neverwinter) once that launches I think the emails will start to go out with a closed beta date of Nov 1. I personally wish they would have started sooner but oh well I'll go cry in my coffee:)

    I think if we haven't even left Pre-Alpha (and they have used that terminology in their replies so I see no reason for it to have changed yet,) then Alpha has to be done, so Beta is a while off. Like November to December minimums. I do hope I'm wrong, but think I'm not.

    That's a very noble guess Bitter. However, Neverwinter beta probably wont be ready until well after Raiderz launches. Hopefully, the game launches before Sylvester Stallone decides to do another Rocky flick ;)

    Strange that it would be later than that if they are slating for early 2013, to me early 2013 would be latest March if they haven't even made it out of alpha now (and keep in mind it was originally slated for Nov/Dec of this year) I fear we may not see it till much later than March. If they aren't doing closed beta till Dec (keep in mind the chaos of the holiday season who will have appropriate time to play test?) and typically its anywhere from two to three months closed and then what a month or less open we might not see it till end of March beginning of April sigh....

    (Almost) noone knows. I wouldnt be so worried about game launch thou. Just get yourself excited for closed beta. We may be seeing a long beta here, so there should be plenty of time for us to play before "official" launch.

    Actually planning on last week of October, I've set aside some time tomorrow to write for the show. I'm hoping we get more info before then, but if we don't, I've already got plenty to run on. Thanks for asking :)

    Works for me. I do encourage other Mods, forum members and PWE Staff people to volunteer for his show too, but not strong-arming or anything.

    As for the three other new mods, Truth brings up a good point. I'd be honored to have all four of you on. I'm sure we can do a segment on forum etiquette that could educate and entertain.

    I'm going to need some volunteers from our community to fulfill my round table format for our first show...

    Guild leaders....

    I need guild leaders who wouldn't mind talking about the pros and cons of guild life, as well as their plans for their own guilds.

    The DDO invasion...

    Will be doing a segment I'm calling the DDO invasion...

    Looking for a few that are going to be playing, or trying out Neverwinter, that are still playing DDO. Any DDO experience is good, but come prepared to discuss how our communities can best gel.

    I'll be writing these segments later today (along with the mystery guest segment --> Truth's, and possibly the other moderators if they accept their invitations)... one or two more segments will follow next week.

    I promise all guests of the show will be treated with respect and we'll have a great time! PM me privately, or let me know here in this thread if you'd be willing to join me in one of the segment spots listed. Thanks in advance!

    Ah the 31st, I have a little devil that wants to roam the streets as a pirate stealing candies from old people.

    He has in fact convinced his dad to dress up as a pirate too and he has convinced his mom to dress up as a witch!
