Not sure how relevant this is now that the game is actually released. I mean, open beta. <.<
But ... nearly 100% Foundry. My interest here almost entirely begins and ends with Foundry -- I play PvE to level up and equip a character, see what the world looks like and gather lore, and now that I have a max level character, it's going to be mostly Foundry from here on out.
There's nothing like the vast sea of content of UGC. Sure, there's a lot of bad, but same with core.
Campaign: The Fenwick Cycle NWS-DKR9GB7KH
Wicks and Things: NW-DI4FMZRR4 : The Fenwick merchant family has lost a caravan! Can you help?
Beggar's Hollow: NW-DR6YG4J2L : Someone, or something, has stolen away many of the Fenwicks' children! Can you find out what happened to them?
Into the Fen Wood: NW-DL89DRG7B : Enter the heart of the forest. Can you discover the secret of the Fen Wood?
When the cold of winter comes starless night will cover day,
In the veiling of the sun we will walk in bitter rain.
But in dreams I can hear your name,
And in dreams we will meet again.

100% PvP. I just find PvE... repetitive, it's just an opinion though. But yeah, I only PvE when I completely have to (Running low on AD) or need to help a friend, however, I could go weeks without PvE'ing, and thats the reason why I wouldnt call what I do "Dabbling in PvE".
PvE 99%. Had to put 1% to PvP, since I took 2 rounds of it yesterday! It was magical as always, 1st round we won like 500-50 or so and 2nd one after 2mins of play we had 2 players left on our team.
And the same maps, same 3 bases, same premade vs pug. No ladder, no variation. Gah, it's like chewing a bubble gum for 24hours straight.
I would like to try Foundries but I just can't figure out to get anything out of it. I would hope that they would add some more appealing to them. Like very random rare (no I don't mean blue normal drops that drops from like every 10th monster) drop from chest or so.
To me the idea of Foundry is one of the best in mmorpg, I just wish that there would be more in them, than just a story.

It used to be the other way around, but these days the only dungeons I seem to set foot in are MC, Dwarf King and occasionally Fardelver.

Option 5 - PvP mostly, dabble in PvE.
I will only do PvE for gear that enhances PvP.
Aurelian - Guardian Fighter (Main) Metellus - Devoted Cleric
Gallianus - Control Wizard
Septimus - Great Weapon Fighter
Ambisinisterr, I find it odd that you profess a strong opinion about the need for TAB Mark in PvE and you answered that you do 100% PvE ... maybe you could give PvP a try with some friends and like it a bit more. You are always welcome to join my team. Send me a PM if you are interested.
I've never liked nor will I ever like PvP, and I've been playing mmorpgs for over 12 years now.
I try to avoid PvP in every game I play as much as I can, even if it has a huge amount of it present. Of course in some games there's no avoiding it at least at some points, I will try to defend myself if I have to, but I really do prefer not actively looking for PvP.
I've always liked playing a "supportive" character, preferably one that is self-sufficient, because I have moments I like to be able to do some stuff alone as well. Meaning, I usually go for the healer or the buffer class. Part of my nature is to want to play "together" with others, not "against" them.
I never did have much of a need to feel superior or better than anyone else in something like videogame combat.
Besides, some people who do like PvP go through any length to win, including cheating and/or abusing bugs/flaws in a game. For which I have absolutely no understanding, I simply cannot comprehend why anyone would consider themselves better at something when they cheat, it's the cheat that won and not them lol.
You just took my thoughts and replaced them with words. I fully agree and could relate to what you said.
5 if they didnt destroy the PVP with latest module.

95% PvE
the remaining 5 gets split between Guild PvP events (where we create our own teams and queue against one another), and Foundry content.
I wish there were more rewards for Foundry content so I didn't feel like I was not spending my limited time wasted when I could be working toward boons, gear etc. Hopefully, once I'm all set in terms of gear & boons, or in those times I have more free playing time than normal, I can spend more time in the Foundry.
option 2, but i would like to see some things administered into the gameplay, low level dueling, a huge hit amongst all games, but yet this game restricts it, you can do an hour of pvp from 10-19... i think they should incorporate a option to where you can devote your time in pvp towards glory points instead of exp. that way it meets the aspect for people who just wanna hit up the events, and those who just love to pvp. granted i know there will be some super twinks in all ranges of pvp. but i think they should still be given the option. people are always going to complain about classes being overpowered, not really going to fix that. they just gotta gear them up. i have geared up every 10-19 class and found out they are all about equal in every aspect. and it gives everyone their desires of lld, mld , and hld. not everyone wants to do hld all the time. (by devote your time in pvp towards glory points i mean such as everquest had a setting where you could put 100% towards AA points to train abilities or 100% to exp. or 50/50 or w/e ratio you want. i think they should incorporate the same with glory/exp)
For this poll, lets assume PvE and PvP are done extremely well, from your perspective. How do you see yourself spending the bulk of your time in Neverwinter?
1. 100% PvE
2. 100% PvP
3. 50%-50% PvE - PvP
4. PvE mostly, dabble in PvP
5. PvP mostly, dabble in PvE
6. "Write Ins" such as the Foundry or other percent breakdowns.. (Added as of April 23, 2013)
IF BOTH or rather all 3 are done well...
I'd generallly just use the rotation currently available, as it would be worth my time. It would turn into about 33% on each one. Knowing myself well, I'd likely have seperate sets of gear/equipment/companions for each one and would adapt to each one with whatever were needed to be competetive either in PvP or PvE.
I do group related PvE and single player PvE.
Single player foundries... assuming they were ALL done well... (currently can be hit and miss) but I do the early reviews on them when they are in the "just released phase" and do not have enough votes for consideration...
Previously... I'd spent the Gauntlegrim time in GG, I'd spend Dungeon Delves in Dungeons, and then split the other time between foundries and Dailys in Shar and Dread. Then it was primarily Dungeon Delves until the queue broke with the rest split between Foundries and Dailys. So the options these days are limiting themselves more and more. And Dailys are getting old fast.

I'm looking forward for open map PVP, but the fact that you can use pots and companions are allowed... makes me wanna quit the game.
I only pve in so much as it helps me gain boons and so forth that help in pvp. I will help guildies whatever, I always want to try the new dungeon, but for me, pve gets old and grindy quick.

I have to agree. I do not like PvP at all and in games such as WoW that forced you into PvP if you were in a certain area at a certain time really irritated me. One of the reasons I left it and never looked back (that and I did not understand having to buy a game and then buy it again just to play it) I love Neverwinter for the simple fact it was separated, but now that I hear they are joining them together I am not all that thrilled. I like to explore, but now I have to worry about players as well as monsters if I wish to go into a PvP controlled zone. Why can't we just have an option that pops up? But I digress. I simply enjoy the PvE.
Edit~ I love Foundries as well ^_^ Still trying to put my own together lol. I think my statistic would be 95% PvE and 5% Foundry
