    Even through playneverwinter.com, it's still pretty unusable using firefox in windows. Lots of missing information and links.
    I hope they fix it soon!

    I don't think the firefox makes the difference. It is the web link that makes the difference.

    By the way, one thing I like the forum update is it is a lot easier to do image (I assume this is new because I did not notice I could do that before).

    Oops! Almost thought this was the wrong page. I am guessing they are no longer paying Vanilla? This is probably Gearbox default or they are setting up their own to reduce costs. I must agree with this being too bright. I am going blind as I type this.... oh cra p noW i can t' see to tpye.

    There is a solution for some. There are extensions that you can download, they will alter the way you view any page. Stylish is the first one that comes to mind for Google / Chromium based browsers.

    Can you please explain how to set this up? I can't find the old theme on stylish

    @auron#6793 sorry about that, the plugin can modify the existing theme, but unless you have some css / html knowledge you are somewhat at the mercy of those who can make themes and upload them to the Stylish database. I will see what I can do in my spare time (which I seem to have in abundance) to make something appealing to the eye. I don't know, if anyone has a template for the old forum anywhere. It will likely have to be rebuilt.

    I see they at least got rid of the bright white background. However I have to agree once again with @liadan1984#8734 this is very difficult to see where one post ends and the next one begins. I am running 1080p and this looks like it is scaled for 720p. I am not impressed by this design concept.

    I don't think the firefox makes the difference. It is the web link that makes the difference.

    I've done some more testing and you're right... but even using the second link my view was like the first image. But, it's because my browser window was not wide enough. As you make the window narrower, the "Most Recent" column disappears, then the "Quick Links" area on the right, and finally the "Views" column... but it's quite narrow by then :)

    Having a narrower window and a smaller font can also work, but only if you have "Zoom text only" unchecked in the settings.

    Firefox 100.0 in windows 10...

    Yes, making the window narrower will make certain info disappears. However, this is not new. Previous version of the forum had the same thing. If you narrowed the windows, certain info disappeared. May not be the same width though.

    Well I'm downloading Neverwinter after a LONG hiatus, been almost 4+ years since I left shortly after MOD 16 dropped; I still have a few friends who play, yet they play a lot less than before. I'm mostly wanting to see what's changed, and visit my Elves to see how they doing. Was curious to see what changed in Sharandar, but now don't even know (reference the new area) not the old. It requires 40k, and funny thing about campaigns despite having fully completed all old ones; several now say 13/15, 15/16 or something like that. No interest to go back and finish those old area's. Also not sure I like what they did to Enhancements, and now the options are so horrible.

    Anyways glad nitocris83 got the white turned to black, as ambassadorkael#6946 did the same on STO.

    I used to be 25-28k on several character's; not quite sure what I'll be now though; that was back when 37k was high-end. Now I see some at almost 77k.

    How long I explore Neverwinter though there isn't much that excites me, mostly cause all older area's were fully done with all boons unlocked; now several say partial completion for area's fully completed.

    They are Elves, so some should be resilient.

    Welcome back! Be sure to stay for the June 14th update which is bringing a lot of reward changes along with the dragon content.

    I'm a bit upset right now, because several old area's I know I fully completed on at least 7-8 characters; now say 13/15 or 15/17. Those are the area's like the Maze Engine, Underdark, or Elemental area's. They previously were FULLY completed, cause I earned all the old weapons, armor, etc... as well as the old Boons they previously gave. Still maybe it won't take long to finish, yet I really don't think I should have to.

    NOTE: I'd say it's possible I missed possibly 1 thing at the most, I was always into completing all area's; as shown by the above area's.

    Still as I said before, I'm very glad they've at least made the forums dark color now; it was very hard to read while they were white.

    For those you completed but not complete anymore, they give you extra rAD, bag, mount, companion, ... to finish them again. It does not take long to do them neither.

    By the way, you should start your own thread to ask for help instead of using this thread.

    So dark theme is back. That's an improvement for my eyes ^^.

    @nitocris83

    Things I still find bothering :

    Inside a thread :
    - no difference between the message/signature white line separator and the message_A/message_B white line separator => it's difficult to see at first glance where a post ends, especially as some users have a signature and other have not, some users have an avatar and others have not.
    Maybe the message's header, where the user name/posts count/date-hour are shown, should be colored different from the rest ?

    - the "leave a comment" textbox ("type your comment") is also same black as everything, maybe alter its color to make it different from the rest (in the old version, this textbox was white/text typed in was black if remember correctly).

    - Preview/Save draft/post comment buttons do not fit well with the theme (in my humble opinion), though their color make them very visible (which is good)

    - hypertext links are shown in darkblue (red when overing the mouse above), darkblue is not ideal for readability on a black background (that include the pages number/previous page/next page links and the forum path links [ HOME› NEVERWINTER DISCUSSION (PC)› GENERAL DISCUSSION (PC) ] )

    Inside a category (ex General discussion PC list of thread):
    - color of the pages n° of a discussion are in dark grey (again, not ideal on a black background)

    Yea I discovered that, it was just my initial surprise, as I knew I had done all those area's. So after having understood what is going on it was a little surprise.

    Anyways figured most stuff out, still I really like the darker forum color; black I find a bit brighter than the dark navy; still it's a 1000x better than white like before. So very happy about that, also happy you can now see who posted to each thread last as well.

    Crazy we have to make use of our css/html ability to repair the game's official forums. I want to make the white break bars, gradient and then stretch the width to at least 90% of the monitor display. Any thoughts about text font and color?

    Okay, my next little gripe.

    Cause strangely while the + icon to post in individual threads, in the General Forum Home it appears pages below a lot of empty space.

    https://www.arcgames.com/en/forums/neverwinter/#/categories/general-discussion-pc
    https://www.arcgames.com/en/forums/startrekonline/#/categories/star-trek-online-general-discussion

    Yet strangely STO appears right below Catagories at least for now, yet both it and Neverwinter (sometimes) have 3-4x pages of blank space you have to scroll down to see the (+) to post:

    So hopefully they can FIX that, though strangely the big gap of 3-4x pages of blackness before the (+) doesn't happen all the time. And it does it on both forums too sometimes.

    There are two version of style. One bad version and one better version (still not good enough).

    Your link is using the 'bad' version. The 'bad' version looks like mobile version.

    Change "www" to "account" gives you a slightly better version.

    https://account.arcgames.com/en/forums/neverwinter/#/categories/general-discussion-pc
    https://account.arcgames.com/en/forums/startrekonline/#/categories/star-trek-online-general-discussion

    You get the 'account' one if you come in through playneverwinter.com.

    Make sure your browser window is wide enough.

    The slightly better version has the "+ New Post" on top.

    some part of the forum aesthetic seems to be back - i am not sure if it is just the dark theme that makes it seem so.

    i am a bit confused though, they said "We are aware of the forums experiencing some layout issues and are working on this as quickly as possible. Issue is appearance-only and forums remain functional." and that is was a publishing-side issue, but did they ever disclose whether they were actively changing/switching the forum structure?

    if they were planning to migrate to a new forum structure/publishing due to gearbox, should/would they not have announced the forum change in advance?

    just want to mention though that for as long as I can remember, the neverwinter forums were not displaying properly on mobile (and it was mentioned in these forums in a different thread) and would have to be viewed in 'desktop' mode, but now with whatever this change is, the forums are displaying properly on mobile for me.

    @auron#6793 you seem the most interested in the Stylish Extension. Here is my css script for this forum.

    /* This is a comment line in Stylish */
    /* comments will be ignored. */

    /* This simply add a touch of Yellow color to the topics. */
    .DataList .Item .Title a, .DateList item h3 a, .DataList .Item a.Title, .DataTable .Title.Title a, .DataTable h3 a, .DataTable h2 a, .DataTable.DiscussionsTable a.Title {
    color: #c9c922 !important;

    }

    /* This places a solid yellow border around the original posting. */
    .ItemDiscussion .Message {
    width: 90%;
    margin-bottom: 5px;
    padding: 15px;
    font-size: 110%;
    border: 1px solid #a0a01c;
    }
    /* When you quote someone the background color is a lighter shade of grey. */
    .blockquote {
    display: block;
    background: #3d3d3d !important;
    padding: 5px;
    border-left: 6px solid Cyan;

    }
    /* Sets the username of the author of the post 150%, font, and yellow. */
    .Item-Header .Author .Username {
    font-size: 150%;
    font-family: "Times New Roman", Times, serif !important;
    color: #c1b52c !important;
    margin-right: 8px;
    }
    /* The meta data that follows the user name in a dark green font. */
    .Meta.Meta > .MItem, .AuthorInfo > .MItem {
    font-size: 120%;
    font-family: "Times New Roman", Times, serif !important;
    color: #3ab225 !important;
    display: inline-block;
    margin: 2px 4px;
    max-height: 18px;
    }
    /* Indents the content of the post. If you uncomment the line at the bottom */
    /* of the section, it adds a grey box around all posts. */
    .userContent {
    width: 90%;
    position: relative;
    left: 10%;

    margin-bottom: 5px;
    padding: 15px;
    font-size: 110%;
    /* border: 1px solid #777777; */
    }
    /* Blue box around the signature */
    .Content .MessageList .UserSignature {
    position: relative;
    left: 0;
    border: 1px solid blue;
    padding: 10px;
    margin-top: 0px;
    margin-bottom: 0px;
    }

    /* Sets the input box white with black text. */
    input.DateBox, input.InputBox, input.SmallInput, textarea {
    color: black !important;
    background: white !important;
    }

    Copy all that mess into the plugin by following these instructions.
    1. Click the options menu (3 dots) in the Stylish Extension and choose "create new style".
    2. Give the style a name.
    3. In the "applies to section" choose URL starting with.
    4. Type in the box; https://forum.arcgames.com
    5. Save the style.

    I will post up a tutorial on how simple anyone can use this extension to make webpages look better. Too bad they don't have someone working on this at the company. CSS scripts are mostly harmless, but I would not recommend making one for your bank.

    Yet I still don't see the New Post Icon in General Discussions, only the silly + sign often several pages of empty space; though that comes and goes, and don't know why, sometimes it right below, others pages of empty before you find.

    Also I really wish they'd outline the message window, or discussion title box so they'd be easier to find; I always start on tags cause it is outlined.

    That be nice if they could do... despite I don't think most like these new forums.

    /*Make Unread post stand out*/

    .MessageList .Item:not(.Read) .Title, .DataList .Item:not(.Read) .Title, .DataTable .Item:not(.Read) .Title {
    font-size: 22px; !important;
    color: #ed872d !important;}

    /*Remove quicklinks box*/
    .css-1ot1s49-quickLinks{
    display: none;}

    /*Remove Categories panel from right side*/
    .Panel .widget-dontUseCssOnMe:last-child, .Panel .Box:last-child{
    display:none;}

    /* bonus background */
    .Frame-content{
    background-image: url("https://i.imgur.com/Q2wKWo4.jpg");}

    I added this to make the unread posts stand out. I couldn't even tell read from unread posts before. It's tricky but with inspect element you can eventually find most things.

    I'm not that experienced with CSS honestly. I just trial and error mostly. Lets keep adding our improvements here. It really is sad that we need to fix their website.

    UPDATE: made some huge improvements to make it more aesthetically pleasing including a background. Changed image host so it hopefully will be less problematic.

    You get the 'account' one if you come in through playneverwinter.com.

    The slightly better version has the "+ New Post" on top.

    Strange that is indeed the link I'm using now for sure, yet don't see New Post, only + below:
    https://account.arcgames.com/en/forums/neverwinter/#/discussion/1265176/what-have-you-done-to-the-forum

    Yet I still don't see the New Post Icon in General Discussions, only the silly + sign often several pages of empty space; though that comes and goes, and don't know why, sometimes it right below, others pages of empty before you find.

    If you do not see "+ New Post", it probably means your browser window is not wide enough. Make your browser window wider.
    Yes it's crazy how wide it is now, but yes I see it.

    Still I see that Star Trek Online has added Most Recent posts in each thread, wish @nitocris83 would do the same for Neverwinter.

    Yet just as I posted that, now it seems to have updated more like the Older Forums I remember?

    This is one HAMSTER of a way to HAMSTER a forum, just to keep people from posting on it!

    First let it be known, I am dyslexic as all HAMSTER and I find this looking like some rank amateur made the forums using some generic software. I had a hard time finding anything now... before the forums looked nice. I don't think I will be posting here again. I don't think I will be able to find anything here! It is a generic black and white and I could not find the posting box at first.

    I assume this is just more HAMSTER budget cuts?

    Au revoir Neverwinter forums.

    Just killing time...
