if you are playing the game and your damage depends on the overperforming companion for "top" dps damage, you are definitly not skilled on the class you play
everybody "not skilled" did fine with augment from M16 onward. not the players fault for constantly changing the system in favour of something else
neither is developpers fault that pw wants them to make cashgrabs items to sell for zen, company needs the money to keep game running and pay the developpers, always look forward when seeing overpowered items being sold that they will get nerfed in the future to stay on same output damage/performance of other companions/items if they dont make them money anymore.

This is the path that everyone will have to follow, as the game is dealing more damage to the Character and it needs to be removed from somewhere to keep the balance, but meanwhile the Xunas, Cold Iron Warrior and others are still decimating all those who see ahead, while those who own the Air Archon are mostly watching ships.

Until they get nerfed as well... the whole cycle of BiS "thing" sell it to the players, take their money, then nerf it when it isnt selling anymore. Then introduce a new BiS "thing" and rinse and repeat.
