Many content creators have reached out to us in the past few weeks, allowing us to begin curating a list of potential partners for the content creator initiative set to launch in the Fall. We are still in the process of finalizing our Code of Conduct and more detailed program information but we want to make sure content creators and followers had ample opportunity to express early interest.
If you are a content creator or follow/are a fan of specific ones, please reply to this thread with the content creator's name and the type of content created (Twitch, YouTube, guides, theorycrafting) along with links to any of their channels or sites.
Please be respectful and do not use this thread as an opportunity to harass or berate other content creators or players.
NOTE: Suggestions do not guarantee a spot in the content creator initiative.
I recommend Janne. Janne has been out there for years, calculating every possible thing in the game, serving us the data as facts in a user friendly way Hosting a website and making sure it's always up is not an easy task but Janne is doing it without asking for anything in return. Show some support for the person who made your life much much easier on the game!
Soly the Scourge here. Xbox player and YouTube Partner with videos that tend to focus on builds, gameplay, and the Neverwinter in-game economy. I started making Neverwinter videos back in November 2017 and have continued to help people try to understand how to play and be successful at the game ever since then. I follow both of them on YouTube and they do a awesome job of providing valuable knowledge about the game in general and the upcoming Mods with guides for new and veteran players, theorycrafting and much more, while keeping a positive attitude. They upload new videos at least every week, not to mention the Pocket Wiki from Rainer, which is a great help to many people I know.
I think both of them deserve a spot in this content creator initiative.
I recommend Silv3ry! She makes plenty of guides on this game and also hosts very fun events for the community. She does a very great job at keeping us updated with the latest changes to the game, like the patch notes and future modules.
I also want to give a big shoutout to Rainer This guy helped many of us throughout module 16 with his spreadsheet and guides he makes on Youtube. He continuously updates his spreadsheet with very helpful information.
"Don't ever become a pessimist... a pessimist is correct oftener than an optimist, but an optimist has more fun, and neither can stop the march of events."
I recommend Assist Man. Yes, he may be a bit harsh sometimes but he certainly deserves attention as his only intention is to provide information and helping hand to others. https://www.youtube.com/user/TheRealAssistMan
Xselli here. I am German speaking content creator, who makes guides for several classes and releases them as videos. I make videos on new content as well. I try to help every player with my content and hope that I am an aid for other players. My youtube link: https://www.youtube.com/c/Xsellisecj My discord link: https://discordapp.com/invite/y2acUsB

I submit that forum posts are valid content, hence I nominate myself just by the sheer number of posts, badges and agrees.
Even the "LOL"s are actually funny posts (mostly)
That's pure dedications, and countless words of wisdom.
(jk, hope someone at least smiled, good day, and may the odds be always in your favor)
Hello, I am an administrator at the Forgotten Realms Wiki. We are the number one source of D&D lore on the Internet, and we are interested in expanding our coverage of Neverwinter.
I'm not sure if this is the type of content you had in mind, or what this content creator initiative is all about, but maybe it could work out.
Although not always as positive as other content creators, Galactic Underwear offers his own honest opinion and fights for the betterment of the game. Along with theorycrafting, providing guides and content overviews, he has provided the community with podcasts and comedy relief that you don't find elsewhere. Along with creating content for the game, he has hosted many high end giveaways on his twitch to assist the community. As far as the community goes, his content has always been the "go to" for trickster rogue information and guides for years.
My own efforts are small in comparison, but I hope some of the guides I have written in the past have been of some use. like this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this or this, although most of them are obsolete by now.
We are still in the process of finalizing our Code of Conduct and more detailed program information but we want to make sure content creators and followers had ample opportunity to express early interest.
No sense in rehashing all the valuable creators everyone has already mentioned (but I will because Rainer & Janne have done lots for this game in terms of pushing out valuable information).
I just want to add that, in addition to a Code of Conduct, I hope that part of your vetting process is watching/reading the creators current content to ensure there's actually a valid benefit.
There are streamer(s) out there that spread misinformation and use this to benefit themselves in the AH.
If possible, I'd like to be included. I write, and playtest mods and hardcover adventures for D&D 5e. Been doing so since mid 2017. I have a vast and extensive knowledge of the Forgotten Realms and many other campaign settings.
I think you need to be clearer on what you’re looking for in a “potential partner”. Twitch/youtube is way different than guides/theorycrafting.
Are you looking for people that draw new players to the game or bring back previous players? That audience only comes from twitch/youtube.
Are you looking for people that keep people in the game and cover for cryptics inability to explain mechanics and provide adequate (and accurate) tooltips? That falls under the realm of guides and theorycrafting.
Twitch/youtube brings players into the game not currently engaged. Guides/theorycrafting keeps players engaged in the game longer. I think you need to clarify the objective of this program so people can recommend people based on your programs goals not just on who they personally enjoy interacting with or who they may be dating (<3 @skatopsixos7 ).
My guess is this program will fade away into obscurity like every other community program that we’ve had. I think you should examine what you have the resources to do consistently and at high quality. If you don’t have the resources then don’t even start it, it’s a waste of time to put in the administrative overhead to start a program then let them die on the vine (guild spotlights, foundry spotlights, monthly streams).
And yes I do realize starting a new program looks better for your annual review than successfully maintaining a program. But it is resource expensive when we need you guys to optimize your resourcing and deliver a higher quality product. Don’t distract us with shiny wrappers, we want a quality product from every resource assigned to the game.
As for your “potential partners” the most influential people for an existing player like myself (you’d have to survey new players if that is your target audience with the program) are theorycrafters @micky1p00 , @thefabricant , @rjc9000 , @michela123 , @rainer#8575 . These guys do lots of testing (and I’m sure I’m forgetting some) but they are burning hours of time they could be carrying me through a dungeon earning loot on preview testing mechanics and trying to point out bugs before they go live.
I appreciate the work of people who create guides but often they create guides that are based on the hours of testing of theorycrafters… and not all guides are created equal. But they are work, and thanks to an ever evolving game mechanic guides are always a work in progress. So who’s putting out the best guides… the theorycrafters and just about everyone else is making some variant on those guides with a bit of personalization.
As for youtube/twitch. I’m not a fan of watching other people play but I do like getting commentary and analysis in short formats (youtube mostly) and there are a few here that stand out. Firstly you need to feel like the person is being authentic, for that I will always shout out to @skatopsixos7 whom I don’t necessary share his vision or his approach on things, I do think he is authentic and that is attractive for this forum. That would be my concern with your “Code of Conduct”, I fear that will require people to police what they say and as such be less authentic. Do people really want to watch someone try to convince them a HAMSTER is a gold? I don’t think that’s a good formula to build a loyal fan base. And what would be the point of watching a video that parrots the release announcement you already provided on the launcher.
@rainer#8575 of course represents this medium well on top of theorycrafting.
@novaiidbzii#7952 for the insightful lore based content he provides from time to time. That’s the stuff I enjoy, you can keep the rest of his content
If your goal is to create partners that keep people in game, then you shouldn’t ignore those running channels and successful guilds/alliances. Or those that just keep social activity going. For this I would sponsor Noor for keeping PE chat pumping. I Noor.

Maybe from a twitch/youtube format you can just reward those with the greatest viewership. Choose those with the most subscribers or ask interested parties to post a video about why they want to be a “potential partner” and select those that get the best ratio’s (or most likes if the math on ratio’s is too much work).

Most insightful post of all. i hope they consider what you said, not all content creators provide the same content. assuming as a company they would prefer NOVA/SILVERY/RAINER type youtubers, who provide positive insight and actual testing with numbers like rainer.

#4 Kali Gold The Ralph Nader/Howard Stern of Neverwinter. This curmudgeon speaks for the average player and is not afraid to criticize the company if it deserves it. Kali G's streaming accomplishments cannot be ignored. Highest all time-rated streamer, most viewed, etc. Love him or hate him, Kali G is damn entertaining. Therefore, he is good for the game. #3 Silv3ry/Rachel The Dali Lama of Neverwinter. One word description of Rachel: chilled. Laid back. With an emphasis on positive attitudes, humor and fashion, SIlv3ry videos are a breath of fresh air. You go, girlfriend.
#2 Northside/Unforgiven Controversial choice, but hear The Took out... Unforgiven is honest. Objective. There is no lying in him. He stood by his principals even when it destroyed his stream base. He sacrificed it all to stand up against a broken Mod release. That is exactly why Unforgiven would be a great representative of the players.
#1 Rainer Hast du jemand anderes erwartet?
Hallooo. His name is RAH-eeenah. And he is a damn fine analyst and theorycrafter. His Mod16 and Mod 17 Pocketwikis are mandatory reading.
