Cleanse and paralysis

Not sure about Warlocks and Paladins, but Cleansing Light for Clerics, which we were told is supposed to remove paralysis, doesn't.

It removes the icon from the buff bar, but you're still hit with those zap affects.

Made the Ras Nsi and Withers fights really frustrating.

I experienced the same thing in Master Expeditions when playing my Paladin Oathkeeper. Cleansing the Partial Paralysis removes it from the character bar but it continues to go off. The debuff itself isn't being properly removed from characters it seems.

Affirmative. The tong is similar, it is not on the bar but it still works.

Had the same issue on Ras Nsi with oathkeeper paladin. Cleansing Touch removed the debuff icon but the paralysis continued to proc.

Add my voice to the chorus. The effects of paralysis/stun and other effects linger after the application (or even repeated application) of cleanse. As others have stated, the debuff icon is effected but the effect stays.

Popped in to check on this. Appreciate that it is being passed on. It really had a HUGE affect on running ToNG right before I made my original post, especially the Ras Nsi fight. Spent most of the fight stunned.
I'll admit, it was pretty frustrating.

It's been a while....
I still try it, in hope that there's been a sneaky fix, and it just hasn't been mentioned in the patch notes... but.... nope...
5 months later, and it is still broken.

It has not been fixed, partial para still lasts through cleanse effects, at least for DC.

I guess even though the intention was that it was SUPPOSED to work to cleanse partial paralysis, it never will. It will be forever broken, the new "WAI".
Ignore people enough, they'll just roll with what they have.
No wonder so many people have quit the game, not because it's broken, it's the lack of communication.
