You bought a key, you got a key. No droprate involved.

When you use the key, you either get a useless item (like RP) that literally isn't worth the cost of the key, or you win the "jackpot" and get an item that sells for many, many times what the key is worth. It's a gamble. Given that there are more than one forum threads started by players that, despite daily key opening for years, are still waiting for the gamble to pay off... I'd say that droprate has something to do with the situation.

    You bought a KEY.

Whatever you choose to use that key for is on you.

Oooooh... I see! I didn't know you could use lockbox keys to open dungeon chests. Thanks so much!

There is no droprate associated with the purchase of a key; whether it be an enchanted key, a legendary dragon key, etc. You bought a key, you got a key. That's not so hard to figure out. You got exactly what you paid for.

Tying the droprate of the lockbox or chest to that key is dishonest at the least. Just because you see something that comes out of the box as useless does not mean that what came out IS useless.
I'm not looking for forgiveness, and I'm way past asking permission. Earth just lost her best defender, so we're here to fight. And if you want to stand in our way, we'll fight you too.

The person that started this thread asked some {cut] questions about the RNG and the involvment of real life currency.

And ended with some false narratives to wrongly support their argument...

A number of people here seem to be responding to those false narratives (AD is hard to get and players HAVE to spend money).

Saying that a Blood Ruby is as useful as a is as useful as a Golden Lion is also dishonest.
