They can fix guardians attacking training dummies and guardians will sit instead of standing... but FF and BtS is still broken and they know about it a looong time, like GWF determination, sometimes it is still problem to launch unstoppable, not mentioning about whole broken TR and CW renegade buff bug. When you`ll fix DC buffs what will you broke? Healing this time? Because I can`t wait to see your next glorious useless ideas to solve problems. Normally if game has some serious bug - devs fix it! Here? They talk about it, like they care about and they will fix it in next module. Like every single bigger bug.
It has been 2 weeks. 2 weeks and still no feedback of what will happen to these broken spells. Past week you announced nothing but guild spotlights, and no patch notes. This week you say you fixed dolls and guardians walking around Chult.
Should I feel like us players are worth less than goddamn NPCs walking around on prehistoric chickens?

So we have to wait more than two weeks to fix the two main encounters used by DC. If a bug like that occurred , for example on GWF ibs, the forum will be burning and full of complains, promises to quit the game, give my money back... But no, the bug is on DC, so who care, they can wait................
The reason forum dont burn for devoted cleric is : dc is good even without those two encounters.

Scourge warlock waiting for months years eternity ( sarcasm).
Looking for a more definite fix update than this. Seems kinda vague.... and all the other dev comments about this have seemed dubious also. Are you guys not sure u even have a solution?
Fixes have to be found and tested before pushing to live. Plus they also go through a preview server too so it can take a few weeks from us having worked on it to the fix going live.
yes. like i said. i saw this but its still vague...he just says before mod 12b. (Do we even have a 12b release date or are peeps just guesstimating from previous preview to release time-tables?)
and yes I understand it takes time, but this has been broken a while.... was just looking for a better time frame of when we can expect a fix than when the cable guy says hes coming today sometime between 8 AM and 8 PM.
I'm not trying to be an HAMSTER$, just getting tired of others telling me its fixed but really its not. Then I look here to confirm and there's nothing solid except "we're working on it".
In the past one of the devs described their work process that fixes have to go through before they get to live. If I recall correctly it takes about 3 weeks once a fix has been made to appear on live because on the way it gets pushed through 1 or 2 rounds of QA and then needs to pass through localization still.
And mod 12.5 still does not have an official release date, mid october is a pretty good guess based on when stuff went to preview

Can a link to this bug thread somehow remain in the Class forums? I mean, if I want to know about what's going on with the class, that's where I think most people would go. Maybe post a comment that redirects to this thread, and close it immediately?
DC's are under enough scrutiny as is over what powers/builds they use to even join a run. These powers are kinda fundamental nowadays.
Because with a break as major as this, it would've been nice to know things broke without having to hunt it down the thread that mentions it almost 2 weeks after it was merged. It would've been nice to have avoided some super rude comments and people not happy with me for using these powers during a boss fight this evening. It would've been nice to not wipe(because powers didn't work) and then respec in order to slot something that worked. Much rather had done that before the run, or better yet, two weeks ago.
I would've been nicer to people tonight telling me to use powers I've never used, powers I was told to avoid by the people I trust for advice on how to be a better dc.
I am not sure which I was/am more mad about: powers breaking, or not knowing they did.
But now I know. And we flow and adapt and change.
At the end of the day, in general, please leave something when merging threads to direct people to the new one.

@waryur Don't put up with that kind of abuse. They need you more than you need them. Even without the broken buffs DCs make a huge difference in dungeons, and there's no way that caused that party to wipe. If someone starts telling me how to play my class in a Guild run, they will get scolded harshly because that's just not acceptable behavior in our Guild (never happened by the way)... It has happened twice in Alliance runs, and I just won't run with those individuals again and they know why... If it happens in a PUG I will warn them once and then leave if it persists. There's just too many decent and civil groups out there to put up with jerks, so don't do it If everyone stops joining groups that insist on a particular build, those picky people will eventually learn to stop requiring others to play their way or they'll rot and wither in LFG
Oh yes and since apparently every thread has to have it: SW and TR are woefully underpowered and desperately need help for devs, in case nobody's heard about it or read anything about something else in the forums

I know its cynical but breaking them didn't have to be found, tested, etc
At any point in the development cycle is a regression test completed? I would hope that one is done with each mod if not with each patch. In my IT world nothing gets released without regression testing and each oops how did that get through results in a substantial review and update of the regression test script.

Ty so many people told me it didn't stack anymore after mod 11 very helpful

These two bugs mean the extra buffing from the empowered version didn't work as advertised. Every other aspect still works. You got rude comments from people about it? Then the people you played with are rude. The bugs should not have caused you to wipe.
I still use BtS on bosses like the final one in eGWD because it keeps people from being one-shotted by the immune boss. I just empower something else like DG or AS.
Hope sure hope this gets fixed soon. Runs have been a bit slower, though emp POD is okay. Maybe (tin foil hat on) that is what the devs want - to see what DC buffs they can nerf that people will tolerate.
Devoted Cleric Empowered Bonuses: Break the Spirit, Forgemaster's Flame, Sun Burst, and Warding Flare should once again properly apply their Empowered bonuses. Exaltation and Divine Glow: Players should no longer sometimes lose half of their expected Action Point gain when casting these powers on high-Deflect targets.
Various healing effects no can no longer be dodged.
