the bind issue should be fixed 'soon'. i give it about 2-3 weeks to make it into the live build
Lets hope they realize its the rings we all want account bound....like every other purple ring we have access to. Not to mention the fact that the rings aren't even BIS. The BIS is account bound.

Could you clarify what you mean? I am fairly sure that Greater Ostarian offense rings are still BIS for most clerics, and potentially some paladins. Which rings are you referring to that are BIS for all classes and are account bound?

I want them to make the 6 rings account bound not character bound. I think only Makos' Signet is character bound, every other ring we see in the game is account bound or tradeable.

Greater (legendary) Ostorian Rings are BtC on pickup, and the epic rings for seals being BtC is an error anyway, and likely to be fixed this week.
I bought the armor of the OP with my main character (DC), and was linked, did the restoration and still continued, on the Test Server he is linked to the account. I hope they correct

I wouldn't count on the fix being retroactive.....if you went through and did the entire restoration process on an item, you're likely out of luck.

Yeah, unfortunately, items that are bound to character have historically always stayed that way, even if being bound was due to a bug.
I think the binding status doesn't normally change because usually, the affected items have differing states under normal circumstances. Green insignia from lockboxes couldn't be made unbound even after the patch because there was no way to tell the bugged ones apart from legitimately bound ones, say from a skill node. To correct the matter for the lockbox ones would have required unbind all the rest. If the devs felt it desirable in the case of Ostorian items, all could be made BtA, but not just some of them.
A change to all wouldn't be an issue IMO but Cryptic might feel otherwise. The only reasons that BtA (Underdark style) equipment normally becomes BtC is if you use a BtC transmute or use a bound enchantment. Both of those I think are bad ideas but that is beside the point.
