Figurines aren't in the daily quest reward descriptions. The easiest way to get them is to get a few people together and share your hospitality gifts. The more you share the better your drops. This is how I got them last year and it's how I got them this year. I got 6 last night from gifts people shared with me. The drop rate on them seems lower than last year but hospitality sharing is still the best way to get them.

It also matters a great deal that ONE figurine per day from bounties, even with a fixed timer so that everyone can consistently get them, is still very different from the original rewards of FIVE figurines per day and not five bounties. All the store pricing revolves around the old mechanism where quests simply awarded the figurines directly, didn't depend on players doing everything absolutely perfectly every day, and didn't require making your life revolve around the Jubilee.

Not everyone has time to escort the merchant to farm bounties, to farm hospitality, to stand around and lob at each other. This event was formerly very casual-friendly, but is now effectively a full-time grind.

The drop rate was not changed from last year (I had the team check when I escalated this last week) and we do want to encourage gifting but I am issuing a community manager recommendation that the event be re-evaluated in terms of feel and work/payout.

    Thanks, Julia.

The decaying event currency is another complication on this one in particular. Before your time, lots of events had currency that decayed and could therefore not be carried forward to save towards items the next time the event ran, if players were unable to afford them on the current cycle. Nearly all of these were changed (I think Andy did a lot of advocating on that issue).

Jubilee currency will still time out, so anyone who doesn't get their figurines in a single event cycle is forced to buy lesser items or lose them.

It would be helpful if the hospitality gifts were not being handed out by the notoriously stingy RNGeezus....

Thanks absolutely right, I do have 5 figurines right now, so my only options are:
    1. Buy more figurines with money/zen
    2. Waste those 5 figurines getting Renow.
    3. Cross fingers someone uses Protector's hospitality on me and I get a figurine. (thanks @plasticbat)

PS: updated to clarify I meant money/zen.

I found I generally received the Figurine from Protector's Bounty on the first day I did them on my toons; and even yesterday when I collected some 20 or so Bounty's I still managed to only obtain the 1st one for the day.

My observation was that after collecting some 20-30 bounty's by assisting merchant after spending a lot of time on various daily tasks I never earned a second figurine. I realize these will not drop too often, but if you can't earn more than 7 from drops and require 10-15 to purchase the nicer rewards... then the figures should NOT expire a month after the Jubilee ends especially IF they were not perhaps dropping as they should have either on first quest or from other RNG with Protector's Bounty.

I did the same exact thing (all 4 quests, followed merchant start to finish twice) on 3 toons at the same time every day, one had 6 figurines, one had four, and one had eight. I followed the merchant twice each day on each toon. They all opened about 100 boxes from the event. I didn't have enough to get a mount on any. I exchanged the drinks, about 8 per toon, didn't get a single figurine out of 24.

I got 1 throne on all 3 which is nice but I probably could have just followed the merchant for 1/2 hour and got it and skipped the rest of this event, it felt like a giant waste of time at the end. Also the rank 3s and 4s are just an annoyance, get them out of the chest at the end of the speech.
