"Cut oak lumber" Artificing profession task bugged?

THe "Cut oak lumber" Artificing profession task asks to cut Oak Lumber into Oak Lumber... itsn't it the exact same item? I've found a [Oak Log] which makes much more sense to cut, but I can't find a task for it. Perhaps I am missing something, but it seems weird xD

    It's pretty obviously bugged, and since it seems very likely that processing Oak LOGs into Oak Lumber is the only way for that material to be obtained, it has broken the vast majority of the other decorating-themed tasks that should be available to the masses.

    I was also able to see one task that called for a Masterwork tool although I am not a Masterworker. I think it was in Weaponsmithing, to make crossed axes to mount on the wall. I assume this should either call for a common tool or be hidden from non-Masters. Sorry for no screenshot.

    @asterdahl @terramak I'd hope for a fix for Cut Oak Lumber quickly. It's a bummer.

    Yeah is for the ornamental axes, and yes is on Weaponsmith, can't send pics since i'm not in home atm...

    Thanks for the report, this is indeed a bug, it should be oak logs. I've made the fix locally and it will be pushed live as soon as possible. I apologize for the inconvenience in the meantime.

    When you say ornamental axes, are you referring to the recipe for "Steel Battleaxe Display?" Currently this recipe only requires a crucible, which is not a masterwork tool. It does however required lacquered ebony as a material which is a mistake. This recipe was adjusted down from being a masterwork recipe. As such, on a local build I have adjusted this item to require 2 oak lumber instead. This should be updated in the near future.
