Campaign Window and the multi-clicks

First of all, thanks for having a look at this. The campaign checking feature needed a revamp.
Verdict on the changes - bit clunky really. Seems to have added some more windows to get to where you want, when ideally a streamlining of the feature would hopefully have been the goal.

Could I suggest another go at this?

They moved the story-type stuff to the journal. Maybe it will get modified in the future, but I would call the extra mouse click 'something we can live with' for now.

Open the window and doubleclick the campaign.

Personally this is too much trouble just to find where to make keys for a dungeon now, or even check progress in a campaign task.

Sounds like you haven't used the filters yet. Hide deeds and sort the campaigns, and you should be able to see everything at a glance.

Yea and before the old system just listed the campaigns but in a much longer and drawn out format. Now you can change sort order to listed highest campaigns at the top. You can also filter out deeds and other things... So before you still had to click on the individual campaigns to see them now you just double click on the one you want to see but it's far easier to list and see them all. I really like the new system.

The only thing I hope it either does or will do is highlight which campaign you need to visit cause there is a pending action like picking up a key or something... previously it would highlight the 'flag' on the minibar on top but not which campaign it was within... It be nice if they could highlight campaigns that had an outstanding or task waiting to be picked up or actioned. :)

What I am saying is it is more clunky cause There is an icon that used to open the campaign sheet, and now it opens the journal and then you click to open the sheet. Why take out the shortcut to that page and leave the icon for it? The journal isn't bad but why the need to hide the sheet behind another click when it was right there to start with?

Because people were complaining about the campaign tracker.

Double-click the campaign name. I find it very fluid because you don't have to scroll or move the mouse around.

Would a tutorial/Dev blog on how to use SCC be useful?

I'm a little confused by your comment. Pressing " ] " or the campaign button at the top of the HUD takes you to the Sword Coast Chronicle "cover page" just like it used to. Are you clicking the journal button and then going into Sword Coast Chronicle from there?

I believe we are already doing this? If you have a reward to collect there is a green reward icon to the left of the campaign name.

Now you see the campaign journal just like you did before listing all the campaigns. You still previously had to click on the specific campaign to go into it just like you do now. But now you also see what campaigns have outstanding tasks you need to action with the green trophy... this new system is much better and I very much like it. It's no more clicking that you previously had and displayed a lot more efficiently.

As beckylunitic pointed out the filters made a big difference. I think what was throwing me was the second window. The more I used it the better I liked it
