Cloaked Ascendancy Preview Patch Notes: NW.75.20170206a.1

A guy in our guild plays a very tanky HR (deflect based). I've seen him held in Valindra's claw with wights hitting him. He did manage to survive and even freed himself (I think he was damaging the claw when he deflected damage due to some boon). It was quite a sight.

@gabrieldourden it's very simple get tremendous CC resist to make things that should control you break xD, abou the wights they dont hit very hard a 3k player can withstand damage from the very well, check sume solo chalenge on ecc and you will see he has some dots continuously giving him life from ls. The claw can be hit and you can see that if you kill valindra too fast while someone is held (all those final floaters) however as she dies she drops the player so it rare to see.

i expected a small preview update today to address some of the ongoing issues with the weapon enchants but it doesn't look like that's going to happen, so could you pls confirm if you guys are fixing things/polishing stuff internally and releasing it directly on the 21st or is the current preview patch going to hit live on the 21st ?

I know (he solo'ed eCC too). I guess he has the same setup of Sume but mostly based on deflect. And he was not attacking the claw at all, just standing there... quite funny.

It's still at least 6 hours earlier than they'd normally patch preview. They run patches to live first thing in the morning for them, but preview builds go out at the end of their workday.

Just briefly jumped into preview, and I noticed two things:

1. I have 11 of the ornately carved boxes that give portal stones. For some reason I'm only given a choice of an abolethic portal stone.
2. They still only stack to 5, which means they're taking up THREE inventory slots.
