New useful stuff tab:items cant be moved except to discard

Note although items such as enchanted keys are account bound in preview they could not be moved out of the new tab into shared bank slots nor could charactor bound items be moved to charactor bank slots,
the same items can be discarded tho ,however not being able to move enchanted keys from VIP is a problem since if i collect a dailly reward key on wrong charactor i have no way to move it to a different charactor.

This is totally unacceptable to me. I will use coupons from multiple characters to buy the odd lockbox key, but only open lockboxes on a single character to minimize hassle. Likewise, if I buy dragon keys or SH strongbox keys, I don't want to have to buy them per character if I already have a perfectly good stack of keys sitting on my account. Not much point even having account-bound items if they're not possible to transfer.

Does this mean keys or tools that are currently stored in personal bank spaces would become stuck there like past items that have been converted to currency tab storage?

thank you @beckylunatic for seeing this and bringing it to my attention, I am hoping the devs think about this and fix this problem because they are essentially killing off those of us who enjoy playing other classes and have multiple characters, too much BOC and not enough BOA items and now this is planning to go live has been making me spend more time playing my PS3/4 games than spending time in NW and I now I am not the only one.....I somehow doubt this will change though but one never knows

from what I have been reading no you can't remove anything in this new tab except for discarding it, so zen bought keys, vip keys, and anything that is/was BOA is unable to be sent or moved so another character can have access........the devs need to fix this because those of us who play multiple classes will be forced to purchase items for each character and I, for one, will not spend any real money anymore if this is WAI @terramak @panderus could you please fix this so items can be removed and sent or shared throughout our account

@nitocris83 - Julia, can you please ensure this is raised urgently. There is many of us that move Leg Dragon keys around as we play multiple toons. Having them bound to a character without being able to move them is going to cause a HUGE backlash from everyone.

EDIT: Okay I finally patched preview - Leg Dragon, Lockbox Keys and Strongbox keys can all be mailed. I dont think you can split them into smaller stacks though, so thats a pain.

@confusedpoof thank you for checking on that (I haven't had a chance yet), at the very least it is a way we can "share" the items in that tab with our other characters

Thanks for checking that. I agree it would be MUCH better to be able to place them in the shared bank, and split stacks from there.

Just had an ally on the weekend with items he was trying to mail to himself that vanished, and some players have a mailbox so buggy they practically can't use it at all.

Im also curious as to what would happen to the LDKs I currently have in my shared bank. Shared banks don't copy to preview, so I can't actually test that out. Will they get stuck like all the other items that get changed? (Thinking currencies and the like here from the past).

M.k. here- yes you should still be able to mail them, just like crafting tools/ ingredients/ assets. We agree it's not the most facile way, but currently a system we have in game that works.

I'll have to go online later tonight to check, but I believe we're allowed to split stacks in our professions tab, so you can send a smaller amount rather than the whole stack.

Given the well-known and documented intermittent spottiness of the mail system (I've lost stuff, I know many others have as well) I think it's unreasonable to ask folks to send full stacks.

As a compromise, @mimicking#6533 can you look into enabling splitting stacks on the "useful stuff" tab?

We are looking into both splitting stacks when you mail, as well as a way to transfer to your shared bank. The hope is to have one or both of these options up and running soon. Soon can seem like a vague word. In reality it means pretty much the following: Getting Programmer and UI time (if needed) on the schedule, building the application(s), adjusting any items or rewards tables needed on the design end, testing, tuning, then getting it up into our build cycle. Depending on priority of schedules already in the works, we will work on getting this on the table. And that's why sometimes I just say, "soon".

Currently, this works for profession resources because they are in a finite inventory that can have empty spaces. The useful items tab is like the miscellaneous section of currency, where it expands to fit, which prevents splitting stacks of bounty items as there are never empty spaces to drag the stack onto.

@mimicking#6533 The acknowledgement is much appreciated. The addition of the shared bank was a huge relief for me as I felt slightly sick any time I needed to move a valuable item between characters and had nobody available to help me avoid the mail system by trading. Too many horror stories of people who have lost something with enough information backing them that we know it wasn't error on their part.
