    We have also introduced some updates to this year's Winter Festival:

    Sirac of Suzail allows players to advance old campaigns by accepting Winter items in exchange for old campaign currencies


    Now that got my attention, will have to see how that pans out.

    There is also supposed to be some charge promo to get a companion that will help with the festivities...but the details in the calendar were a tad cryptic...(pun intended)

    I bought so many parcels for 100 zen last year and got a bunch of goodies, hope they have not raised the price too much with that VIP in it.

    Too bad the 2x campaign currency event is right after the festival ends lol.

    The Simril Starlight Pack contains 20x Starlight Parcels and 14 Days VIP time (no rank increase).
    The Simril Care Package offers Frostborn Gear, Artifact Weapons, and Remorhaz Companion.

    It would be nice to know the prices for those packs...
    And offers the care package a real set of artifact weapons, or just an artifact weapon pack, with a chance for those weapons?
    I do believe in killing the messenger...

    I wonder if that pack contains the latest relic weapons. I'm going to have some terrible mixed feelings if it did... I haven't gotten mine yet so I wouldn't be opposed to paying money to skip the grindwall. But, I know people who already put the work to it are going to be pissed, and I would be too if that was me. Moreover, one relief with this new relic system is that, it's a step closer to what things were like during early game release. You can buy some things, but not everything.

    Edit: got confirmation that it won't be able to be exploited the way it was last year, so you shouldn't fear bans as long as you are innocent.
