If the armor unlocks are account-wide and not per-character, then keeping a higher cost might make sense. Run it all on your strongest character and enjoy the fruits with your alts. But if I have to run a few thousand quests on my warlock in order to access warlocks transmutes, I can tell you right now that I'm just going to do without them for that class.
On a related note, and assuming that these are currently unlocked by individual characters (though I urge you to consider account-wide), are the armors character-bound? Because again, I've got a primary rogue and an entire thieves' guild worth of alts. I really appreciated the changes to black ice shaping to allow crafting for same-class alts, but I'm already so far behind on boons for most of these characters, getting them transmute unlocks is yet another thing that's just not feasible.
And I didn't find this store in the hour or so I was on preview, so I've not reviewed the cost for single-purchase neck and weapon items.
Technically speaking, the armor set unlock itself is per-character, but the box you get is bound to account, so it can be transferred to different characters. This is true for main hand, off-hand, and neck pieces.
Like Dragonflight and Underdark gear, you can view and purchase gear for any class, so (in my specific case), I could unlock the Warlock Hammerstone Transmute on my DC, and transfer the box onto my warlock to use.

Alright, with the shop being something you can fully unlock on a single character to obtain items for any character, it's a much more forgiving and flexible system.
Feedback - XP from ME quests It appears that the XP gain from these quests has also gotten an nerf? at least having done the Supporting the Factions quest once. ME dailies on live give a range from 40k-100k+ XP depending on what the task was (differing XP modifiers on my characters might account for some variance here). In my experience lairs like the protecting the dryadd in hotenow gave significantly more XP than cleaning out 2 demon spawn areas in black lake or skyhold. Now, i had to do an instance, clean out demon spawns AND a 3rd task of stealing demonic ritual components that i don't think was ever on live for only 40k XP for the (new) daily Supporting the Factions, then 16k for doing Defend the Swordcoast. This seems like significantly more effort for less return. And when i want to repeat Defend the Swordcoast I am faced with gaining only 16k XP for the same amount of work.
Feedback - RP from ME quests RP is only gained from completing the Supporting the Factions quest which is limited to 1 per day. Considering the Huge grind to obtain RP for artifact weapons perhaps granting RP for finishing Defend the Swordcoast would not be such a bad thing. Considering the large number of quests and environmental conditions that you have created for the new requirements I doubt bots would be all that successful in being able to farm this stuff.
While I am advocating for increased rewards for these quests because of the dramatically increased effort to complete them I would really rather the quest went back to being easier and thus balanced with their current rewards. As the quests are now they are horribly unrewarding and it makes me sick that I have to grind out 100 of these (at min, probably closer to 175) to buy myself an armor set. Just because the armor sets are permanent unlocks doesn't mean they need to be incredibly hard to get, remember, people do not change their gear that often so transmutes like this might only be needed once per mod, if that

becky, the transmute shop is located in the ME campaign page on the left side bar. It says Maze Engine Store, but the coloring and where it is placed on the sidebar are not helpful in making it apparent it is there. IMO all the store buttons could be moved and recolored to be more visible

Feedback: Price of packs It seems very limitating that we have to purchase the package over just a transmute, if i want to add 2 pieces of different packs togheter, i have to buy 2 complete diferent pack. Another question that was already mentioned here, it's understandable that this must be taken as a grind but the prices trully are too high.
Feedback: XP from campain I think the xp from the campain is and always was too high, most of my extra power points were obtained from these quests while IWD/sharandar quests for example give much much less experience regarding the time they take to make, it would be nice to 1. Add experience reward to "Process Faezrness", we have repeat this task 35 times to get the boons and even that they direct us to squirmishes and HE's that have some decent rewards, so do the quests in the maze engine have nice rewards (resonance stones, ad), i am talking about something like 15k experience, just to complement rewards. 2.IWD, Sharandar; Dread ring, Well of dragons, and Tirany of dragons having their rewards fixed for a more realistic xp progress when compared to the maze engine (for example IWD quests give currently around 1500 xp as reward). 3. Is currently possible to reach lvl 70 in 2 and half hours in the stronghold during double experience events is this suposed?
Here are some armor pieces that are today made of Unobtainium. It's worth noting that the issue here is not just the models, but the dyes. These rare items are all dyed with "Dungeon Dye Pack", where the colors vary. For instance, while the CW chest and legs models are available through the EE campaign, the color set isn't. Two pieces on my CW are transmuted to Arcane Overseer's Tunic and Arcane Overseer's Slippers, respectively. The "red" on those two pieces is really not red; it has a slightly bluish component to it).
That brings me to another point: it would be really really nice if the dye sets used here were also available. None of these "Dungeon Dye Pack" sets can be matched with what we have. The closest is the CW set, though the gold and red are not quite right.
Regarding prices of the armor sets, I've taken everyone's feedback to the Powers That Be and we're looking into the best course of action. I'll keep you all informed regarding any updates.

Greatly appreciated, thank you.

I hadn't even noticed the change in XP rewards for these 'daily' quests - if you are going to drop the XP, but double the time it takes to do the quests then it's an issue. I'd recommend rethinking this split of quests into 2 components as with all the new stuff we need to do in the new campaign, who the hell is going to have the time to grind this out? (I main 5 toons now - there is only so much play time each day).
The CN weapons are already in game. They drop from CN and are called Ancient HAMSTER. basically the names are exactly the same as the old CN weapons. search for them in the AH

I have an update regarding the price changes. We've talked it over and we'll be changing the prices in a future patch to be the following:
Anything that previously cost 20,000 alliance supplies will now cost 4,000 alliance supplies.
Anything that previously cost 24,000 alliance supplies will now cost 5,000 alliance supplies.
Anything that previously cost 28,000 alliance supplies will now cost 6,000 alliance supplies.
We made such a dramatic change because of a shift of our internal thought based off of everyone's feedback. Previously, we were thinking people would focus on 1 set to get. We've shifted our thought now to people trying to get multiple sets to mix and match them for fun combinations. We also want you guys to be excited when we release a new armor set in the future, not dreading a long grind. These new prices should do all of that.
These changes are currently just internal, but there will be patch notes when they're released onto Preview.

That is awesome.
And that is exactly the right of it. People who want cosmetics are always going to want ALL THE COSMETICS.
Any chance we can detach the old daily from the transmute grind so that we only have to do one quest to get the campaign currency and Resonance Stone and not both the overworld and the lair one?
Assume a quite lucky player who always gets the rare result (120 Alliance Supplies). It takes the player 50 quest completions to unlock the Hammerstone Armor Package or Dread Legion Armor Package. (6000 / 120 = 50)
Assume that the player has a fast mount and VIP, and can complete the quest in 15 minutes. If the player decides to grind out 1 of these packages, it takes 750 minutes. (50 * 15 = 750) That's 12.5 hours.
If the player decides to only do the quest once a day, that's 15 minutes a day for over a month and a half, to unlock one Armor Package.
The grind is greatly reduced, which I appreciate, but it's still daunting. Maybe you should sell boosters in the Zen Market.

Instead of a zen booster i would rather they reversed the decision to require 2 overworld portions AND the instance for the quest. The Maze engine quests are perfectly fine on live as they are and I still have not seen an explanation as to why they want to increase the amount of time it takes per day to do the maze engine quests

I think it's fine. It ends up creating a little prestige around these looks, too...they shouldn't be handouts, but the grind shouldn't be soul-crushing.
I think the revision is fine, because keep in mind that as you unlock more sets, you get exponentially more combinations of looks to mix and match.

There's no prestige in grinding. Your soul is already crushed if you think 12.5 hours of grinding for one cosmetic is fine.
I don't mind the new grind honestly, but that wardrobe tab. Yes please. Guild Wars 2 has a really good wardrobe function. It would be cool if gear appearances were unlocked on a character and stuffed in a wardrobe. You don't lose one look forever by transmuting to a new one. You can keep the AD cost to transmute, just don't make me reacquire the actual items Ive already acquired.

For the list of future addition, I suggest to add the weapons/off-hand that could be obtained throughout quests of the elemental evil zones.
For exemple, "Elemental Longbow of the Crushing Wave" which could be obtained through the "Worrisome Wares" quest of the Drowned Shore.
Best regards.
