Bug? Lost enchantments when upgrading gear on black ice shaping task.

I upgraded Drowcraft Assualt Robes too Elemental Drowcraft Assualt Robes but lost my enchantments from the Defense Slot and Armor Enchantment Slot. Is this a bug or are you suppose to remove slotted enchantments before upgrading equipment?

You need to remove enchantments. There should have been note somewhere that told you this.

I do know at least that the item is listed in the consumed section of the profession task. Your only resort is to file a Support Ticket and see if they will replace the items, which I doubt they will.

You have to keep in mind that all resources are consumed when making something in any profession. Nothing is ever "upgraded" in the sense you're thinking. You consume resources to make a new item, and in this case you consumed your Assault Robes to make the Drowcraft version.

I did not see a warning. Otherwise, I wouldn't have asked. Ugg! Lesson learned.

What Zeb is saying is that the game *should* provide more warning that upgrading will destroy enchants if you don't remove them, but it doesn't. Thus the sadface.
