You are given a list of items to acquire...fine no problem there. You turn in and now the same quest ask more more expensive Items, not listed before! Fine, bad game design but I gather the even more expensive items and guess what? Now more expensive items to craft with little chance of making them. Finally turn those in and now guess what!? Now I must make another thing that was NOT LISTED before accepting the quest. It will cost about 2m in ad per ATTEMPT to make with at BEST a 20% chance of succeeding! My jaw was on the floor. This is after already WASTING about 3m ad worth of escalating turn ins on this most horribly designed and presented quest in the history of fantasy mmo's! If I knew up front it was going to cost about 13m ad to complete this quest I would have never started.

This is Masterworks, right? How could it be not.
I've tried both Jewelry and am toying with Alchemy now. What I have seen in both is promises of a tool if you complete a quest--then a requirement for another quest before getting same tool, which also forces you to repeat the first quest all over again--inclusive! If my last sentence makes little sense, well, that is how you will feel doing MasterWorks as well. Nonsensical.
And very, very low on AD.
I wish we still had some scribes in the game, a number of people have already gone through all this yet it does not live in the Wiki. The devs are allergic to documentation--they already finished college, why should they have to document anything now? it is up to us.
What did happen to the people who kept up with the Wiki, anyway?
Who ever designed this quest should not make a quest ever again. Not because it is hard. It is a bait and switch. You are given a list of items to acquire...fine no problem there. She or He won, they beat me. Too bad I did not know is was him/her vs me...
This is a pretty stand quest design you know. Go do this and come back with the result, now go do this next step in the quest. Would you prefer it was broken down into 12 different quests?
The masterworks are not made to cost money, you are supposed to use guild marks to go farm the resources and do it over time. That isn't to say that masterworks isn't a crazy silly process that isn't viable for most of the game population but you are screaming about the wrong things here
Guild - The Imaginary Friends We are searching for slave labor, will pay with food from our farm!

They do cost ad. If I can farm it I can sell it for ad. If I can make it I can sell it for ad. With a 20% chance of success more often than not I lose ad trying to make it. Some of the required stuff is from master level from ANOTHER specialization that I cannot do at the same time requiring me to... wait for it... Buy it! So yes, it cost ad and time I will never get back, on a quest with a insurmountable finish I can never complete. A quest that can wipe out a players savings and still have no chance of completing needs to be more clear in what all is needed to complete the quest. That is the reason this does not compare to a quest chain of talk to this guy, now kill 10 of these, now take them to that guy.
To be honest I would not be surprised if there was another even more expensive step after the 2 million ad per attempt with 20% chance of success step. Not that I will ever find out.
I love the Mod editing my post right away but a quest that wrongly ask for Aqua Regia when it really wants Concentrated Aqua Regia (something ~40x the value) is still not corrected after several months. Priorities

I'm sure that knowing this will ensure that people who do have access get right on making sure it gets updated, posthaste.
