common cause related quests

the dungeon quest's related to the common cause quest:
forged in fire, mithril mines, burrow demolition, etc are all tagged as a level 60 quest for players above level 65 (approximately) they no longer appear above the questgivers head. can they be set at -players level so that they will always appear when available?

at first, "common cause" asked for the sub-quest "minor problem", and i couldn't get it anywhere ( i think it's supposed to be on the NPC stronghammer). after a few days, i decided to cancel the quest and get it again. this time, "common cause" asked for the sub-quest "mithral mine", but i still can't get it anywhere. NPC stronghammer always got only two quests: mirothrax and fix their wagon.

If you hold on to Common Cause into the next day, it can cause issues getting the right dailies for it. Don't keep Common Cause if you're not going to be able to complete it before reset. They need to make it so the quest gets automatically dropped upon daily reset so it stays in sync. What you'll need to do is drop it and don't pick it back up until after daily reset tomorrow morning.

When getting Common Cause tasks the one it asks for is not from the zone NPC it is in but from one of the 4 NPC around Harper Bower Unfortunaty they will not have the Exclamation point light up above their head so if your not familiar with which one offer which task you need to hit "F" on all of them till you find the right one.

Great tip and continued bug report info. Only a handful, I forget which exactly but Barrow Demolition is one, the exclamation marks appear and even then only have about a 30-second delay after accepting Common Cause. Forged in Fire is one that the exclamation has never appeared for me.

I suspect that the common-cause quests are still marked as lvl 60, so the markers won't show once you're a few levels above that.

In the same way that you can go to drowned shore at level 65...no markers show, but if you talk to the NPCs you can still get the quests.

This issue has been around ever since the jump in max level to 70. I would think it should be an easy fix to implement.

It's especially bad for new players, but I can't count the number of times I've forgotten to look at the mission tracker to figure out who has the appropriate matching quest and take it before I go to the designated area. Had to drop common cause quite a few times since I didn't try to go complete the mission right away, too.

I am not sure how setting them to player level would interact with the mechanism that prevents them from being part of Common Cause pre-60.

It seems like it would be simpler to nuke the mechanic to hide outlevelled quest markers from orbit. It serves no purpose but to confuse and annoy players, and is apparently now even causing at least one actual bug with the TR class quest and an invisible NPC.
