The grind helps you save a pile of gold that will ultimately propel you into affording all of the injury kits you will need happy hunting. I just kept on repeating the fire zone over and over. Stack quests all in the same area too makes it go quick. This weekend is 2x XP I believe.

VIP made injury kits obsolete - my gold has accumulated so high on all of my accounts and I have no use for it -.-
Wow, then you have no room to complain lol. Think about everyone whom has not purchased said VIP program. Maybe that advice above is not as helpful for you but possibly help another player then.

The grind from level 67-70, after you have completed all of the EE questline. It feels like there needs to be a 5th, and maybe a 6th zone. There is not enough content to finish getting to 70 and grinding giants for hours is boring as hell, especially when you have a lot of characters to get to 70.
i found churning through quests generated XP faster than giant farming, especially if you are picky with your quests and have become proficient running them. i posted a thread about this a few weeks ago and a few others agreed... nobody disputed it. sure kill them if you run through them, definitely get the quests that have you killing giants.
on my paladin i am avoiding giants entirely, unless i am grouped up. it takes forever to kill them because most of the time i have to activate sanctuary to avoid getting knocked around.
I hadn't left Drowned Shore with my second alt (a GWF) till she was level 67. Leveling there was very fast plus occasionally you get the tasks which reward in unified elements and elemental aggregates. Transferred 150 Gold back to the main after this alt hit 70.
And I'm about to level a new alt this weekend (a DC now), not sure if it'll make it above 60 (they say it takes 5 days normally), but I'm very much hoping so: I've refined x4 rank 7 Azures (could be done quite cheaply now), got her Mulhorand main-hand and the 900 Zen Exp Booster to start with. With 2XP it should be a pretty swift leveling.
P.S. Too bad the Amulets of Mourning are gone from the AH, these were cheaper than the cloaks.
It's tough since there are a few reasons on the pole with equal frustration. At this point I have lost all but a few friends to play with, and they're basically all saying the same thing. They bought the 12 month VIP (as did I) and don't want to feel like they just threw their money away. Even then the play time is simply to get through the daily campaign and then sign off.
Reasons friends have left: 1. Absolute grind for anything without any middle ground. To get the gear/boons to go back to enjoying the game, you're locked into repetitive tasks for well over a month. This is after hitting 70. I lost a few people who didn't even want to continue the grind from 60 to 70. 2. Changes to health, healing, difficulty, enemies, classes all at once. It's too much. 3. Instability of the server. Even after the 12 hour downtime, I have friends who get constant server not responding and disconnects. 4. Most of my friends would do dungeons and skirmishes. After the mod they felt like the only part of the game they enjoyed was gone. 5. Removal of ADs from Leadership. It may not seem like a big deal to some, but a few friends pushed theirs up to 20 and it was really their main source of ADs. Kids and jobs kept them from being able to do many dungeons and skirmishes, and making items to sell seemed too tedious. It went from a way to help get better gear to being a complete waste of time to level.
Reasons for my frustration beyond what I've listed for friends: 3. Needing a buddy system to get through an area is beyond frustrating. Sharandar is like Hell to me. Getting all the way to the part of the map where a mission is, only to be killed and sent back to the beginning. Dwarven Valley is a close second. I was beyond thrilled to not have to go back to the first two areas in Sharander. EVER. I have one month to go for the last. 4. Absolute grind to progress. It's like they made the game to fit the Leadership profession. Incredibly long time frames with little to no pay out. The campaign went from being a quick task before dungeon and skirmishes and Tiamat runs to the only task. I can't imagine trying a dungeon to get the gear. 5. Not a PvP player. The next content will pretty much be the end of the game for me. My friends and I have a small guild and the focus for PvP was really to get through dailies for ADs. I didn't even bother with that part of it. I tried for a while and decided that hating the game wasn't worth the ADs. 6. Inability to join people on opposing factions or pick them up/heal them or have them pick me up. 7. Health potion in Icewind gives less health than Superior, yet that's all they sell. 8. Objective stealing. I kill all the enemies, chug three health potions and because someone runs up to click on the released captive I don't get credit. Sharandar is the worst for that sort of unsportsmanlike behavior.
I went from loving the game to feeling like it was painful. I have to get through missions in areas I absolutely loathe... I am literally sitting in the fire and waiting for friends so I can do a daily mission in the open world. It shouldn't be that hard. I post in chat for someone to help, but it's rare to find someone in certain areas. It took me forever to get gear and enchantments prior to the update. Now it's like a far away thought. I don't think I'll even get a partial set of gear prior to the next update.
I am a casual player, who's focus is on PvE. I don't mind a challenge, but going through 100 potions in a day is a bit too much.
You know with the whole potion thing. An easy solution would be to knock down the recharge timer by a few seconds. The amount healed vs recharge time, considering current hp pools is stupid dumb.
8. Objective stealing. I kill all the enemies, chug three health potions and because someone runs up to click on the released captive I don't get credit. Sharandar is the worst for that sort of unsportsmanlike behavior
I hate seeing that. Just inv that person to group and finish tasks together, don't walk in and steal objectives. I see this all too much in Sharandar. And the cool downs for the objective to proc again is laughable. I'm stuck in combat while my objective is lifted away right in front of my eyes. Makes the grind even more annoying with the un needed time wasted to redo things. Either wait their turn or group up.

The inability to use coupons when an event is active, with no in-game explanation for it. I bought ZEN with real money to use a coupon, and it wouldn't let me, because there was an event active. Now the coupon has expired, but my real money is still gone, and I'm stuck with this ZEN. What they are doing is illegal in many countries.
The last two time I quit playing a F2P games was because of some "bug/feature" in the game which rolls back the progress you've made in game over a significant period of time. In NW there were only a few cases like that so far, not significant enough to make me leave, but jury is still out : 1) Losing AD by inadvertently completing profession task/companion training 2) Losing daily Defender's Cache from a dungeon run (you can have only one on your inventory) 3) (Almost happened) Posting an item to AH with automatically suggested price which is too high (bye-bye posting fees).
Oh, OBJ stealing is the worst. Its in each of the new areas, that I have seen. Sharandar with the getting sap on the trees and the release guard from those pods and give them swords. Dread Ring and the Kill X amount of something, or destroy X number of portals. Then IWD with the black ice gathering and also kill x amount of whatever.
I am in the middle of killing a million ads (maybe an exaggeration) and these a-holes come over and steal the objective and don't even help with ads at all. Like wth
Been burning through dungeons trying to gear up new guildmate's up and the just no luck what so ever for them. Granted I don't mind a few extra protector seals helping a new person as I must have been entirely luck to have my elemental alliance gear in a few days. Throw em a bone RNGesus.

I installed this game on my xbone shortly after getting decent cable internet and was miraculously able to play it a few times getting one toon to lvl 18. now for two weeks I have been unable to connect to only this game; after I hit the play button I get a timeout message after two seconds. I can't even get to my character. Have tried re-installing it, checking my internet for something wrong. Even a direct to modem connection doesn't help. I know this game is free, buy i am hardly inclined to spend money on a game if it's unplayable. I've tried searching for answers on google during the passed two weeks and finally just needed to vent; because it seems that people do actually get to play this game even now. What seems like a server issue can't be a server issue otherwise it would affect more people. It's just frustrating that i got a taste of what this game is and i want more, but i can't have it and for some reason i can't figure out. /rant
I finally have another gripe... lack of dungeons has started to make me a little bored now I have all my boons (except last 2 of ToD).

I was in the same boat. Managed to buy the Golden Belt of Puissance for 400 gold which might have been overpriced but I've still got 200 gold left which I won't need so it was worth it. I keep checking the Chat to see if anyone else is selling stuff for gold. Ideally something that will be either useful for my character or I can sell for AD.
Certain things being a bit like fight club's first rule.
