Not really. Nothing has become much cheaper, except for GMOPs, just take a look at AH. And mount upgrades, companion upgrades, aug cubes, transmutes? Do the math with refining stones for art equipment. The thing is I did it all, if I had hoards of AD I would say the same as you. But real money I can count and its value has droped. And it will keep on dropping unless we have smth really valuable in zen stores.

The majority of the cost of pretty much everything except for artifact weapons and armour was covered by gmops and with the reduction in price of gmops, that cost is now greatly reduced. The price of enchantments and such on the AH are currently artificially inflated by the upcoming 2x RP and quite honestly, you don't need higher then epic artifact gear. If you want legendary artifact gear, then live with the cost associated with it. As for companion upgrades and stuff, whilst yes, their price has not dropped, it is likely to drop and quite frankly, even if it is more expensive to people spending real money, I don't care, because hours played should reward more then real money anyhow, which as of yet, it doesn't.
Also, as for the whole idea of..."these are the people paying for the game" lets compare the pay model here to PoE, which is another free to play game, whereby the only purchasable things are pretty much cosmetics. Here is the ladder on a single "league" (or server) which is only 3 months long, so this shows recent player activity: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1305588 Look at that for an active player base....Listing 15k players all above level 89, bearing in mind the majority of the player base never ever reaches level 80 there and instead continuously re rolls new characters. That is excluding the hardcore ladders, or the standard ladders, just looking at a recent ladder that has only existed for the past few months. This game attracts players, even though you cannot pay for an advantage and gets enough support through purchasing of cosmetics in the cash store to be able to regularly release refined content.
This is an easy example of why your money spent doesn't even need to make the game progress faster for you, it could be a case of no ability to purchase an advantage at all and still have an active player base. In fact, that game has a larger and more active player base then NWO has atm.
As it is, let demand and supply dictate the value of zen, just remember, your zen isn't worth what you willing to sell it for, its worth what the f2p player is willing to buy it for and you cannot force them to buy it for more then they think its worth.
