An important question I've not seen asked...how long will the vendor be there? I've screwed myself before with these extensions thinking the vendor would be there for another week after and they weren't.
Absolutely useless trigger. Only helpful if you're soloing trash mobs. Useless on a team or on bosses. What in the world makes you think this is a good idea, Kais? You KNOW the whole membership loathes "on kill" procs. Another power hardly anyone's going to take except by mistake. You might as well have not bothered.
Why? I mean, sure, OK, no complaint, but you usually do this when something was broken and people lost an opportunity. Was something broken that I missed (besides the short-lived bugged Defender mission not paying off...I wouldn't figure you'd do it over a lost 11 Foxbat currency)?
Thanks! Yeah, I kind of figured on that in my plans, did some budget crunching and I will PROBABLY be able to do that if I don't stupidly miss it for some reason. :)
Awwwww...crap. I feared as much. Guess I'd better start saving up my pennies for a lifetime. Sheesh, $300 all at once (unless I stumble onto a sale at exactly the right time). I've still got a little while on this month...and there's always my freebie "FreeVigilantes" account to play. But I just made a half a dozen new…
Happifun is probably a good choice. My Adam Arcane is my main pretty much in name only and for personal lore purposes. He's not even close to who I play the most.
I'm heavy, HEAVY into theme building, and even I think this is a non-issue. The names of the powers are utterly unimportant. They aren't really a "part of the game", just a reference for the actual RL player.
You asked how I don't get bored. I told you. Doesn't mean what works for me will work for you. I wasn't offering it as a solution to the content issues. Just alluding to the fact that MMOs are going to draw people with widely varied methods and motives. It's tough to say what's best when everyone has a different POV.
Oh, that's easy. I don't consider myself doing the same thing over and over. I'm an altaholic and all my characters play differently (intentionally) so each time is somewhat of a new experience (added to the "there's different players in this one", so it plays out differently).
**shrugs** That's why I said they SOUND like nonsense. Frankly several people whose opinions I trust are the ones indicating it. Your mileage may vary. OR much of it can be bought on the AH, which I've done a lot of. Some of it IS restricted, but...eh, I'm not one that has to have everything just to have it. You couldn't…
Or, they don't find them as boring as you do (after almost five years, I still like them just fine). That's the problem with basing ideas on something you think everyone shares but don't.
I don't understand the complaint. That game you wish for is still there, more or less. It's just had an endgame (that you don't like) tacked on. It's not like the period you mention wasn't more or less in a holding pattern the whole time, with little dribs of content coming along occasionally. I haven't even tried the…
I've assumed the abandonment of the Nemesis system was less from a lack of desire than a lack of ability to fix early Cryptic spaghetti code without simply trashing it and starting over (which would be time/cost prohibitive). :(
Awwwww...turns out the title for the Awesome dance is "Everything is Awesome". I was hoping it was just "Awesome" (I need that for my toon that mocks Rob Liefeld!). There isn't an "Awesome" title already somewhere else, is there?
I don't know how you figure that. It defeats them outright, even if the damage is not enough. Where is this hype? I've never been under the impression it was anything at all like Shadow Strike. I have no idea why you'd do any of that. Why do you think you would "pause" at all? This isn't the type of power you'd use in that…
I think the description is just clumsily worded and it means you outright defeat lower tiered enemies that are at 1/4 or less (and I've seen it do that many times, even if the damage isn't enough to finish them). I like it because it's a melee power (nice finisher for some of my fighters). Perhaps that's why you're not…
Yeah, but the AT sale is only this week (unless they're repeating or something, but I see no indication of that). Two seconds of math made me not even attempt it on my "free" account.
No, there are no certainties in life. However, 8 years of this game's history does indicate it. There's a laundry list of things that will come before "fixing" something they did on purpose, that would likely require manually going in and changing the sizes on each and every piece of environmental flavor. Cryptic-code…
