A thing that annoys me to no end is having to make another FF build just I can switch my backpiece costume each time I fly around with my bug toon. Why can't the bug backpieces open and move like the bird ones?

Thanks for hearing my suggestion/rant

Because they move like bug wings, not bird wings. It's OK for the animation to be different.

he is talking about making them like beetles I think, so that the wings go inside the shell when not in use. In short, for the wings to be in a off position.

Best/nice idea: when not in use, bug wings become cape-like depending on the type of wings.

sure i posted alias/keybind info somewhere on here on how to accomplish the effect using 2 costume slots - one wings open, one closed/insect cape. The basic instructions are also on my primus page below (just scroll to the bottom for bits and bobs) - just in case cryptic don't action this suggestion

I use this on my insect lady - Scarab

    Main Costume

    "flyme","landme" and alternate "landme" costumes

    Symbiote Costume

"landme" (beetle wings closed) and "flyme"(beetle wings open) costumes

Yeah, I've always been a bit confused by the whole 3 different beetle wings deal. There is a closed, a partially ope,n and a fully open configuration. So thems buggly wings must have been meant to unfold. But, they just don't and it ain't right.. it ain't right at all.

Yeap, Soulforger and eiledon got exactly what I mean. Why having 3 different backpieces when we should have 1 that changes animation with the flying speed. We don't get a stationary bird wings, semi-flappy ones or full flappy bird wings!

    :D
